There’s a real deepening of the new reality taking place… or maybe a better word is a thickening. It’s hard to consider the new consciousness in physical terms, but with the overwhelming need for presence emerging, it FEELS that way, doesn’t it? Still, it’s definitely best not to succumb to definitions just yet. All we could ever come up with would be an old interpretation, and that would deny us the experience of the as yet unprecedented new order.
Mercury’s shadow period is wildly different this time around. It might be the Galactic Center starting point, or his out of bounds status, or the fact that he will be spending this entire shadow cycle approaching a new cycle with Pluto, but he won’t actually get there till he completes his retrograde journey AND recovers his direct shadow.
This is the phenomenon known as ‘refranation’. It’s a major cosmic occurrence. It means that the actual new cycle (conjunction) of Mercury and Pluto, which doesn’t occur until January 29th, is SO important a new beginning that it requires everything that happens during this retrograde cycle, including both the shadow journeys, to bring it to its fullest manifestation.
More than anything, that means that EVERYTHING that happens, particularly at the level of the higher mind, during this retrograde cycle is farm more significant than usual, and it will all be revisited, redefined, realigned and any other ‘re’ purpose that becomes meaningful.
It’s all about the meaning. We don’t yet fully recognize the full meaning of this Mercury journey over the Galactic Center, but we do know that everything about this evolutionary moment we are living through is profoundly connected to the Galactic Center and our current relationship to it.
The Winter Solstice, which is the beginning of the cycle in Cosmic Consciousness, related to the world axis at around 0 Capricorn, related to the crown chakra and to the rest of the cosmos, is the moment of the resurrection. The moment when the SUN (SON) reaches its lowest (highest) point in the heavens, stops for three days and begins its journey all over again.
Today is the day Venus returns to the ecliptic, and many are already reporting a whole new relationship to the heart center and to the emotional Self. It’s all under the influence of some of the most alchemical transmutation we’ve ever known. It’s like watching Fantasia all over again, only this version is balanced in ALL the elements.
It’s a new world and we are watching it being born. How magnificent is that? Best view is to stay tuned to you.
