What a week that was! Mercury has been SO powerfully present all week, making one aspect after another, connecting with both active Light Bridges and now slipping out of bounds for a few weeks. He has definitely revealed the new operating system, and we are all so much more aware than ever of the unifying energies that connect us all. And Mercury isn’t finished yet. He connects today with Uranus and Chiron, and he is set to play a major role in this week’s Cancer new Moon AND the solstice, connecting with the Sun for a superior conjunction just as the season begins. We are in for a life altering Summer…
Mercury is moving from Gemini into Cancer tomorrow, just after the Sun does, and just before these two come together for a new cycle. They are crossing the world axis all day today and tomorrow, and that means that everything we’ve become conscious of these past few days hits global proportions now.
The fact that these two come together on the Summer Solstice means those global perceptions will mark the entire summer season. With Mercury out of bounds, JUST AS he enters Cancer and crosses the world axis, we can be sure we’re in for some unprecedented new reality.
In 3D astrology, we are accustomed to Cardinal, Fixed and Mutable qualities of the signs. In 5D, the signs represent the various aspects of our consciousness, and these are perceived to be connected to the tri-fold flames of the heart center, Power, Love and Wisdom.
Derek referred to the three faces of God this week, Creator, Sustainer and Destroyer, and it got me thinking about how much these apply to the signs in 5D. I like these terms for the Cosmic Consciousness System, because they describe very clearly the energies of the signs they represent.
As Mercury (and the Sun) move from Gemini to Cancer tonight, they take us from destroyer to creator in our conscious mental operating system. Something old is dying, something brand new is being Created. We are headed for a Cancer new moon this week, ALSO a Creator energetic.
It doesn’t take much to realize that the week ahead promises to change everything.
