6 Capricorn 28 (Inside an active worm hole)

The New Moon at 23 Gemini on June 13 opened the wormhole, and since then, we have been moving in various new directions that cannot really be comprehended at this time. We are perceiving our responses to events in the now, processing this information, and often attempting to label the experience as “something.” As we learned from the wormhole earlier this year, we will likely find that whatever label we use for these experiences will need a revisit once the wormhole is complete in mid-October. Of course, it is such an ancient habit to go through a day labeling and cataloging experiences! We do this reflexively, as sentient beings in human bodies. The point is that there is no telling how our experiences will look on the other side of the wormhole or how we will feel about them. We actually have no idea. The Gemini New Moon opened the door for recognizing that events can be responded to with multiple perspectives, while holding constant a still point, like a diamond reflecting colored light while remaining perfectly clear. The Gemini quality of consciousness is always in motion. Today’s Full Moon at 8 Capricorn 28 provides yet another vista to use during the wormhole passage; one which appears to be as solid as the Earth herself.

Full Moon over Mount Everest

The symbol for Capricorn is the mountain, and the mountain is composed primarily of rock and seem to be everlasting. The quality of consciousness of Capricorn is where we find the source of our own empowerment and sense of authority. Ultimately, the purpose of Capricorn is to realize our birthright—that each of us comes from Source, and is Source. The planets, points, objects, and portals (formerly cusps) in our natal charts in Capricorn are all directed with great focus to this goal of self-realization. When under the auspices of the Capricorn quality of consciousness we hold a solid internal sense of the I AM, and external events – no matter what they are –do not diminish us.
The Full Moon in Capricorn places this consciousness in front of us and provides us with the opportunity to step into it. This consciousness is not always comfortable, and when given this opportunity even the bravest souls sometimes elect not to take it on because they do not feel fully equipped to do so. The Moon is normally at home in the Cancer quality of consciousness, and with the Full Moon fully illumined in a bridge (opposition) to the Sun at 6 Cancer 28, the predominant feeling may be of “otherness” or being a foreigner. Yet this feeling of being a “stranger in a strange land” provides the capacity to truly observe our consciousness in ways we have not encountered before.

This is the last lunation before the three eclipses that mark the wormhole passage begin. This Full Moon is conjunct Saturn  (where we discover the source of our inner authority and how we project this outward into the world) and conjunct Quaoar at 0 Capricorn (where we can access new belief systems). With Saturn in the sign it is most at home in (dignified in Capricorn) the Moon’s conjunctions with these two planetary archetypes provide the opportunity to experience the “foreigner” sensation in an exciting manner that while different is perhaps not as frightening as it might otherwise be. Do our belief systems serve us well and if not, what would we rather have in their place? Our collective belief systems are more obviously on display all the time these days, and while we all have responsibility for what is going on, it is critically important to pay attention to ourselves right now.
Anytime we can work from the perspective of Love rather than fear is the real work. If emotional stuff should arise during the Full Moon, at least we know that Saturn is there to provide solid parameters, because this is what Saturn can do when it is dignified.
As mentioned earlier, the Full Moon is in a bridge with the Cancer Sun (along with Saturn and Quaoar) and it joins in the Power Crossroad  (once known as a cardinal grand cross) with the bridge between Chiron at 2 Aries (where we become our own master-healer-teacher) and MakeMake (where we access and come to live by the immutable laws of the Unity Consciousness) at 3 Libra. In a Power Crossroad we stand at the nexus, and have the ability to travel down all roads at the same time. The first opportunity is to explore how we can realize the positive changes that we aspire to for ourselves, and for the communities we live in. The second is to realize that as we align our spirit, mind, heart, and physical experience, the more we can perceive how our individual consciousness is inherently part of Source. Put together, it all starts with that sense of inner authority, that we alone actually are the one responsible for the direction we take— We are, after all, the only ones who decide whether we take another breath each time we breath. And with each breath we reconfirm our inner I AM, whether we are fully aware of this or not.

Also during the Full Moon, the Black Moon Lilith (where we access the divine feminine within ourselves) at 24 Capricorn is in an exact Intersection (formerly T-Square) with the ongoing Light Bridge formed by Eris at 24 Aries (our inner awakener) and Haumea (where we access unity consciousness). The Stepping Stone (formerly square) that the Black Moon provides is a chance to raise our perspective regarding our expectations of the Divine Feminine are and how it manifests. This Intersection forms at the same time as the Crossroad— all comprised of power signs. Because of the wormhole, we will have to be prepared to have our belief systems challenged a bit.
Ceres (our inner midwife) at 29 Leo 55 will change signs after the Full Moon, and her last moments in Leo are both incredibly creative and also the chance to knock down any prejudices we did not know we still hold. Her entry into Virgo marks a moment when we start integrating the empowered Divine Feminine into our spirit, mind, emotions and physical realities. Ixion (where we access our soul’s purpose) at 26 Sagittarius is conjunct Vesta (what we are devoted to) at 26 Sagittarius 30 during the Full Moon passage. This conjunction facilitates successful focus on our dearest aspirations.
Despite all the energy of this Full Moon, it pays to take note of the much commented on words purportedly written by the Chinese Ch’an (Zen) master: “Before I had studied Ch’an (Zen) for thirty years, I saw mountains as mountains, and rivers as rivers. When I arrived at a more intimate knowledge, I came to the point where I saw that mountains are not mountains, and rivers are not rivers. But now that I have got its very substance, I am at rest. For it’s just that I see mountains once again as mountains, and rivers once again as rivers”

While this statement concerns the experience of self-realization or enlightenment, it also points to what we think our perceptions actually are within a wormhole. We just don’t know. Our task is to “go with the flow,” and not take anything as the solid Truth, yet. This may seem counter-intuitive given the strong Capricorn energies that abound during this Full Moon. A little light-heartedness may be in order, such as the Donovan Leitch 1967 song “There is a Mountain’” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xeVXjX3588E.
