There was a rare Mercury transit yesterday, and I offered a link to check it out. The article didn’t have much in the way of interpretation, though, so I thought I’d offer my two cents. A Mercury transit is pretty rare, happening maybe 6 or 8 times a century. Venus also has transits, but more like 2 – 4 times in a century. A transit, as it is called, is not the same a when a planet passes by, ALSO called a transiting planet. A “transit” happens when one of the two planet between the Earth and the Sun (Mercury or Venus) align with the Sun on the ecliptic. That is, when from the perspective of the Earth, the planet and the Sun look to be exactly the same latitude on the ecliptic. This is also known as a parallel. Parallels happen only 2-4 times a year, and a “transit” happens when a parallel occurs at the same time as a conjunction, or a coming together by degree. This is what happened yesterday.
A “transit” has a majorly profound effect on our consciousness. When it happens, it is possible to SEE the planet moving across the face of the Sun. As we know, what happens above happens below. There is no way to SEE a rare phenomenon and not have it reflect something just as rare taking place within us.
Mercury has recently swapped archetypal places with Mars, and has also reflected a major upgrade to our mental operating system earlier this year. Now Mercury’s retrograde cycle, which generates the conjunction between the Sun and Mercury, is actually aligned with just about every single planet in our Soular system, including an ultimate conjunction with Sedna, which promises to introduce higher mental consciousness unlike anything we’ve ever known before. Mercury’s retrograde and Mars’ retrograde are taking us to a major Mercury Mars bridge, which has the capacity to deliver the full blown reflection of the archetypal switch that has occurred between these two planets. This bridge occurs on June 9th, the day after Uranus and Eris begin their 9 month triple conjunction that reflects the ascension process on the planet.
Before that bridge opens, the Full Moon on May 21 bridges with Mars while Mercury stations, and Mars will form a double, or prolonged bridge with Sedna as he stations to go direct on June 28 – July 2. The two planets that have switched places are very busily involved with each other to energize the 5D planets that are engaged with them on a long term basis. Much more about all this as we make our way through these unprecedented transits.
Back to the Mercury transit. It has certainly delivered us , or let’s say ‘locked in’ a whole new way of perceiving our lives. It may not be fully realized yet, but wait, just wait for Mercury to recover his shadow and come together with Sedna on June 9th. And yes, that IS the day the Mercury Mars bridge opens. Amazing, isn’t it?

If you want to consider what the Mercury ‘transit’ might have brought, try remembering the last Venus “transit” which occurred in Gemini in June 2012. The Gemini Venus portal opened the way to unified heart. Ponder how things have changed since then..
