I received this email from Liz Repede, a long time faithful reader: "The Quintile you mentioned struck a cord with me because I have a quintile in my natal chart. I always wondered if there was more info. This is all I have and it's from an old book by Isabel Hickey called "Astrology, A Cosmic Science":"

"There is an aspect seldom used by the average astrologer but it is of great importance to the spiritual student. It is an aspect called a Quintile, one fifth of the circle, which is 72 degrees apart and its keyword is "talent". They represent the definite talents of the person and show in what manner he may succeed in linking together his inner and outer being. Every person is an artist in some realm of expression, and only through his artistry is any analysis of his activity as a soul to be gained. The Quintiles which were known only to the inner initiates of the Chaldean mysteries reveal the special privileges of each person and tell him in what way he may demand cooperation and personal assistance from the Cosmos. It is curiously fitting that these aspects which are so important to the seeker who is in a position to proceed to real accomplishment are closed to the careless layman, who instinctively shying away from aspects that cannot be counted by even signs, is of the temperament to avoid his real spiritual opportunities because of the self-actuated effort involved therein."

I know this book, I read it very early on, and it has, no doubt, been very influential in the forming of my consciousness around astrology. Liz is referring to the current MakeMake/Saturn quintile I mentioned yesterday... which got he thinking. This paragraph from Isabel Hickey, whom I consider to be one of the most brilliant minds in Cosmic Science, is written in 3D. I agree with it, generally speaking, and I offer a 5D translation to see if we can't make more sense of this amazing connection.

Before I offer this updated translation, I highly recommend that you look for the quintile that may exist in your birth chart. If you take the time to look for planets that are 72 degrees apart from each other (it has to be exact, within one degree), and take a close look at the archetypes involved, then this new perspective might serve to unlock something precious in you (which is EXACTLY what a quintile is meant to do!)

"There is an aspect seldom used by the average astrologer but it is of great importance to the spiritual student. It is an aspect called a Quintile, one fifth of the circle, which is 72 degrees apart and its keyword is "creative gift". This aspect represents an evolved soul's capacity to work with certain talents that are innate and are evolved into. They show the ways in which a soul can express the inner Self through the outer being. Every person has the capacity of the Creator in some realm of expression, and only through the expression of this skill can the evolution of the soul be witnessed. The Quintiles, which were known only to the inner initiates of the Chaldean mysteries, reveal the special privileges of each individual and reveal to him or her the way to command cooperation and personal assistance from the Cosmos. It is curiously fitting that these aspects which are so important to the seeker who is in a position to proceed to real accomplishment are hidden from the careless layman, who instinctively shying away from aspects that are not immediately visible to the naked eye, is of the temperament to avoid the real spiritual opportunities because of the self-actuated effort involved therein."

This is an issue many of us are aware of, now that we are remembering who we are. It is not true that the ancients hid this information from the masses. It is more accurate to recognize that those who do not have eyes to See can never See what is right in front of them. Witness that the Kuiper Belt was always a part of our Soular system, but we were unaware until our consciousness expanded enough to perceive it.

As a young astrologer in the 60's and 70's, I KNEW instinctively that there was more to the cosmos than was obvious, but I didn't have the awakened consciousness to see it clearly any more than the rest of us. (I have an exact Moon Neptune Quintile in my birth chart).. That brings me to the other comment Liz made:

"Reading this again after several years makes me wonder if now is the time that these "mysteries" are becoming available to all of us to help us navigate these huge planetary shifts in consciousness."

It would be a most amazing thing to be able to impart this knowledge to everyone all at once, but it seems the Truth is something each individual must awaken to one at a time. That said, if each of us serves as the living example of this consciousness, we can Light up the Truth so much more than ever before. But we'll have to do it without attachment to the outcome, because attachment is one of the greatest forms of fear, and fear just puts us back at the start of that confounded endless circle. Thank goodness we know that now, because this consciousness effectively eradicates the circle, just the moment we decide it is so.

Just to wrap this up, I was referring to a MakeMake Saturn Quintile yesterday, and to the fact the the old, man-made laws of our current civilization are about to be replaced by the more enduring, more original divine laws. The quintile is proof that we ave earned this moment though centuries and lifetimes of evolution. And the best news of all is that Mercury is here too, participating in this quintile, providing this information right now......

"Truth be told, no matter how logical or intuitive you are, neither of these virtues, no matter how greatly you were endowed, will ever enable you to peer into the future and reasonably predict the twists and turns your life may take, nor the circumstances, fortunes, and friends that might someday be your own. It is, in fact, impossible.

That's what imagination is for."
