We are moving into another Uranus/Ceres/Eris series, this time with Mars forming resources (sextiles) over the course of the next three days. Resources are expansive and productive, and Mars takes it to the physical level of things, but these Awakening forces are unpredictable and lately seem to always throw us at least one curve. Mercury is moving through his retrograde shadow, which means that whatever surprises us now is likely to reverberate throughout the next two months.
What’s interesting is that by the time Mercury gets back to where he is right now (around January 16 or 17), Mars will be starting a new cycle with Chiron and forming an intimate semisextile with the Great Awakeners. That certainly shows much progress along the lines of Self realization. (Don’t forget that Mars belongs to Aries, sign of Self-Awareness)…
As we move from the closing Resource (last sextile before a new cycle, or conjunction, occurs) to the semisextile, it becomes clear that a lot of progress is made and with that a lot of realization about what’s happening is achieved. This, no doubt, will come in very handy as Mars approached his new cycles with Uranus and Eris (February 26 – 28) while Mercury is conjunct the Earth Star chakra (South Node) and Jupiter forms a perfect bridge with Mars and the Awakeners. WOW. THAT’s an event of a much higher order. Expansive, to say the least.
Today Venus and the Sun form an energetic conjunction on the ecliptic. This is very significant because Venus just returned from her out of bounds journey and she is infused with new consciousness. To bring this directly to the Sun, which represents our consciousness promises a whole new download of heart centered awareness. Best way to receive this is to allow the information in. In other words, make it a point to remain consciously open.
There’s never any telling what kind of new awareness is being delivered. It must be experienced with as open and empty a mind as possible if it’s going to be realized. With Mercury preparing to retrace these steps, we have a better than average chance of getting it much more fully than we might otherwise.
Today is also Venus’s last day in Capricorn. As she crosses the portal of strength, which is the passage from Capricorn to Aquarius, the heart moves from the experience of its connection to Source to the experience of learning to Love the Self without condition. This too seems to bode well in Light of the Sun Venus parallel today.
