Full Moon 21 Pisces 04

0:31 am EDT

The New Moon in Virgo on August 30 put front and center any needs of our four-body system: spirit, mind, emotion, and the physical. The Virgo part of our consciousness is ever seeking perfection, down to the smallest detail. We all have this capacity to go deep into granularity. It can become fascinating, and even addictive to examine something in minute detail. We have all, from time to time, become obsessed with replaying a scenario over and over in our minds. At this level of examination, it can be hard to remember who is in charge of the big picture. This is, of course, a signal from the Virgo part of our Consciousness– that there is a need to see which part of ourSelves needs attention for a particular detail to make sense in context. By focusing on one part only—say the mind over the body-we start to misunderstand and misread information we may receive. This is where we can call upon our inner master healer-teacher with the compassion of the Divine Mother to assist us with any adjustments that we want to make.
Virgo and Pisces hold two ends of a continuum in our Consciousness, and this polarity is most analogous to the zoom lens on a camera. Using this lens, we can see tiny features in the camera view screen or widen out to a much wider perspective, depending on the setting we select.

The symbol for the Full Moon is the ocean, which comprises most of the Earth. Pisces is disposed by Neptune, the archetype we all share and use for Self-enlightenment. The Moon is at 21 Pisces and is conjunct Neptune at 17 Pisces, which adds both dignity and appropriateness to anything that occurs. The relationship between the Moon and the ocean is crucial to how the natural forces of Earth, including weather, sustain life. Pisces is the part of our Consciousness that represents unlimited expansion.
“Let’s not forget that we each carry a limitless, three-pound water-world inside our heads. The human imagination is liquid.” (Quote from Richards, Chris, “From Kelela: waves of enchanting fluidity.” The Washington Post, 10 September 2019. pp. C1+)
The Black Moon Lilith is at 16 Pisces, so we can expect some things to be uncovered that may have been obscured, especially regarding an emotional trigger. We experience feelings at all times—whether life is calm or busy. By recognizing that emotional responses are as essential to life as breathing, we can take a more forgiving a perspective about feelings. It is possible to have some fear about the idea that feelings are present at all times. When we reflexively judge our feelings, we start to suppress them. The first step is to recognize that feelings run continuously and need to freely flow to avoid getting stopped up.
A Pisces Full Moon provides the space to look at our emotional experiences from a Big Picture perspective. The soothing effect of ocean waves upon a beach is well known, and we can use this to calm ourselves as the Black Moon shows us what we need to see. The more we just allow feelings to move through us, the more we are empowered to make clear conscious decisions about what is important for us to experience.
Running deep in cool delight
the waters of my mind
I watch the tides
go in and out
And the hurricanes go by
from the steady calm called I

In intimacy (semi-sextile) with the Moon is Eris (our inner disruption mechanism), who recently came within the ecliptic, which is an imaginary line that marks the Sun’s path through the Zodiac. The Light Bridge that is dissipating between Haumea (where we create Unity Consciousness) at 26 Libra and Eris at 24 Aries showed us how to work with disruption as an essential to the creative process. Eris is now like an invited guest, and she has moved closer to us as a result. Do we remember how it feels to be welcomed?
Vesta (where we find devotion) at 27 Taurus and Sedna (where we tap into Divine Feminine experience of the ages) at 28 Taurus is in resource (sextile) with the Moon. We can expect to learn more “inconvenient truths” about the extent of Earth changes, especially regarding the oceans. Vesta and Sedna have been travelling together for some time, pulling our awareness toward paying more attention to how we live on our planet.

Manifesting (trine) with the Moon is Astraea (where we experience the Divine Feminine as purity) at 13 Cancer, conjunct the Fixed Star Sirius (where we tap into the wisdom of the Masters) at 14 Cancer, and the Soul Star (Moon North Node, where we work with our dharma) at 15 Cancer. This allows for some truly meaningful insights to flow our way, if we make space to receiving them.
Jupiter (how we expand) at 16 Sagittarius has a special relationship with Pisces, as it served as the dispositor of Pisces until Neptune was discovered in September 1846. Jupiter is in a stepping-stone (square) with the Full Moon, as is Ixion (our soul’s purpose) at 27 Sagittarius. We have the opportunity to remember that we are so much more connected, individually and collectively, than we may think we are.
Returning to the Pisces-Virgo polarity, the big event is the Light Bridge between the Moon, Neptune and Black Moon with the seven planet Virgo stellium (grouping). This stellium started to come together right before the Virgo New Moon and is fully developed for the Full Moon event. Soon afterward, Venus (how we feel) and Mercury (how we communicate), both at 30 Virgo, will move into Libra. This Virgo stellium starts with Regulus (adding great beneficence) at 0; Juno (where we access Unity Consciousness) at 3; Orcus (where we recognize the immortal) at 11; Mars (how we move) at 17; the Sun (our sense of conscious self) at 21; Venus and Mercury. As all the inner planets (Mercury, Venus, and Mars) and the Sun are involved in this bridge with the Moon/Neptune/Black Moon it is safe to count on some major revelations about our individual and collective lifestyles. Any lifestyle involves our spiritual, mental, emotional and physical bodies. Any frustration we have felt before and during the Virgo Moon regarding things that seem stuck or confusing is about to relieved to the extent we can recognize ourselves as the co-creator of everything happening to us.
The Soul Star/Astraea/Sirius bridge with Pluto (where we transform) at 21 Capricorn, Chariklo (where we stabilize) at 20 Capricorn, the Earth Star (Moon South Node, where we work with our karma) at 15 Capricorn, and Saturn (where we access inner authority) at 14 Capricorn is quite potent during the Full Moon. As the Moon disposes Cancer, this bridge will be very helpful in helping us get on the observer’s perch. The ocean is so vast, most of us cannot conceive of how large it really is. There is a reason why, when on a boat for a long stretch, the first sight of land is so welcome. That sense of landing safely “home on land “ is entirely within us. During this Full Moon, perhaps we can allow ourselves to take a step or two into the unknown to see what might be there, and perhaps even take a leap of faith.
At the trembling brink
We are standing at the rainbow bridge.
Step onto it now
Dot it right now
There are hands to support you
And wings too.
Can you feel the air lift as the flutter?
This is what we came for-
To see with no point of view
