Full Moon 11 Aquarius 45

11:58 am EDT

What a passage we have been through from the Cancer New Moon/close of the wormhole, which lived up to its purpose by taking us to entirely new ground. External events are developing quickly and it is almost too much to grasp from moment to moment. Thankfully, we have an Aquarian Full Moon to light up our conscious awareness, reminding us that nothing moves forward without Love. Our Aquarian quality of consciousness is where we come face to face with the core reality: we are spiritual beings having a physical experience. When we recognize this, then we learn to Love ourselves unconditionally as Source/God does. Love is Love. We all know what it feels like, even though it is difficult to describe.

With Aquarius, we learn to share our most “way out” ideas and embrace the new and unusual. Anytime we try to move out of the mainstream commonly shared beliefs, we enter into the unique part of our Selves where we feel different from everyone else. This can be a place of Self-discovery, where we explore this unique incarnation, or it can be a place of alienation, where we feel out of step or misunderstood. Walls can come up or down when we work with Aquarius, and because it has the quality of Love (formerly a fixed sign), it takes a conscious effort to do this. We can dam up the river of compassion and connection or let the waters flow freely, nourishing our Selves and everyone around us. It takes courage to move forward in Aquarius because this is where we move off the “known map” of our emotional experience. We need to use the Aquarius/Leo polarity (opposition) created through this Full Moon to gain that courage and confidence to step forward into the reality we are now in.

The Full Moon is disposed by Uranus, our shared archetype of awakening. The Full Moon (created by the polarity between the Sun in Leo and Moon in Aquarius) is in an intersection (T-square) with Uranus at Taurus 11. This is a fascinating on/off ramp to the Full Moon bridge, because, depending on our choices, the awakenings we have can be amazing or upsetting. There is nothing gentle about a Uranian awakening, and they are designed to free us of all our delusions. These awakenings will light up anything we need to address related to our Self-identity and how we feel. Because Uranus is in Taurus, these awakenings are grounded in the realities of our life on Earth. As well, we can expect a bit of impatience with any perceived slowness of change.
This past week Stephanie Azaria and Shelly Leal published an article on the re-emergence of the 13th sign, Ophiuchus, which marks the greater access we all have now to our 5D consciousness if we allow it to happen. By reacquainting ourselves with Ophiuchus, we realize that our conscious core identity – our Sun Sign – changes, to be followed by a need to redo other astrological calculations. The remembering of Ophiuchus is heralding in this Full Moon, so be prepared for many new pathways for thinking out of the box, allowing in broader vision that shows up in a practical, grounded manner. In communion with the Leo Sun is Varuna (where we find our highest vision) at 4 Leo, supporting any effort at consciousness raising. The intersection is lit up by the Sun, so we will have no difficulty finding the awakenings when they occur.

The Full Moon is in resource (sextile) with Mars (how we move) at 19 Aries, providing initiative and momentum for our actions related to sudden flashes of intuition or inspiration. Travelling with Mars are Chiron (where we heal/whole ourselves) at 12 Aries, and Salacia (where we play with light and shadow) at 6 Aries. Chiron and Salacia make it easier to rip off any band-aids we have put on emotional situations that need change, and we can do this with a lighter heart. It is time to open all the doors to our heart, even with those individuals with whom we disagree.

The Full Moon is manifesting (trine) with the Asteroid Juno (where we find Unity consciousness) at 16 Libra, making it easier to see situations where we are projecting limitations on the capacity of humanity to consciously move forward for the benefit of all. During the Full Moon, there is also a Grand Manifestation occurring among Uranus with Orcus (where we find immortality) at 11 Virgo and Pallas Athena (where we experience intuition) at 16 Capricorn. Orcus is in a bridge with Ceres (where we midwife the new) at 11 Pisces, reminding us of ancient and tested pathways for exploring the most expansive part of our awareness while we crack open our hearts.

The Full Moon is occurring within the environment of two Grand Power Crossroads (cardinal crosses). The first starts with the bridge between Mars and Juno, possibly sparking some tension over whether we are listening or not to any intuitive flashes. Forming the Crossroad is the bridge with the Fixed Star Sirius (where we access the wisdom of the Sages) at 14 Cancer with Pallas Athena at 16 Capricorn. This bridge challenges us to look closely at where we think our intuition comes from. Is it a download from higher consciousness, or born out of the deep wellspring of our inner Self, or both, simultaneously? We have the opportunity to gain trust in our individual intuitive capabilities, which are part of the standard operating equipment for all humans.
The second Grand Power Crossroad starts with the bridge between Mercury (how we communicate) and Vesta (where we find devotion) at 27 Cancer respectively with Saturn at 28 Capricorn and Chariklo (where we stabilize) at 26 Capricorn. Traveling with Saturn and Chariklo is a stellium (grouping of planets) comprised of Pluto (where we transform) at 23 Capricorn, Jupiter (where we expand) at 20 and Pallas Athena. During this period of massive transformation what and how we communicate can perpetuate the old, even if these are our most treasured beliefs. The re-introduction of Ophiuchus to astrology is just one example of all the changes to all structures we know. Creating the Crossroad is the bridge between Haumea (where we create Unity Consciousness) at 26 Libra and the Fixed Star Arcturus (scientific and technological innovation) at 24 Libra with Eris (our inner disrupter) at 25 Aries and the Black Moon Lilith (the great revealer) at 29 Aries. At least we have the forewarning that radical change is ahead, so we will not be too surprised at what happens next.
While this Full Moon lights up our Aquarian consciousness, let us resolve to take down any walls we find in our hearts and use our wisdom to connect with our Selves and each other.
