New Moon 26 Leo 35

10:42 pm EDT

The Aquarian Full Moon reminded us that we are greater than the sum of our parts. Humanity means something. When we consider humanity as an all-encompassing entity, we are appealing to our better angels. We see beyond me and you. When we elevate our thoughts about others to this higher level, we tap into our Super Consciousness and can see the larger pattern of Oneness. This is when we can receive the “wake up zaps” that inspire us to test uncharted waters. In polarity to the Aquarian quality of our consciousness is Leo, which takes us back into our perceived individuality. Leo reminds us that our individual consciousness is actually a blazing light and we each represent an internal Sun/Son. Those who have experienced Super Consciousness report that they do not see a person per se – they see the Light body and then need to refocus if they want to see the separate attributes of body, gender, age, etc. This is the age-old human dilemma – if we focus on the individual only, we neglect the reality of the commons. It may not always seem so, but what we do individually affects Everyone.

The New Moon in Leo is disposed by the Sun. When the Moon and Sun come together to create a New Moon, it is a moment to pause and consider how we feel about our own Self-identities, and most importantly, how we are applying the qualities of Love and Generosity toward ourselves, and then to everyone else.
The Leo quality of our consciousness is where we chose positivity, starting with ourSelves, and from this space, we can extend this outward to others. This is where we recognize that the Sun is always shining on everything equally all the time, regardless of the spin of our planet. Within the Leo part of our Consciousness, we realize that we first need to recognize ourSelves as Light before we can really SEE another and appreciate them. When we do this, we see that we are Light and so is everyone else. This is a real gift and service to someone else, to see them as much as in the Light as we ourselves are. Sometimes it takes a bit of courage to step out of our fixed view of someone, or of a group of people, and see them in a new, positive way, with gratitude for what they are offering. The New Moon is a time when we can tune into our inner warmth and extend it outward.

The New Moon is conjunct Mercury (how we communicate) at 28 Leo, providing an open channel for us to clearly communicate with ourSelves regarding how we are feeling about our emotional responses to those around us. We can let people know how much we care about them, and appreciate who they are and the role they play in our lives, no matter what this is. This appreciation needs to start with ourSelves; because gratitude is fostered first within our own hearts.
When we first appreciate ourSelves we recognize that Love starts with self-recognition and then can be extended out to others. The New Moon is also conjunct the Fixed Star Regulus (lending dignity and appropriateness) at 0 Virgo, opening the way for greater integration of Light in our four-body etheric energy system of the spirit, mind, heart, and our physical experience. We can step out of individualized identity and see that through gratitude we are able to contribute, serve, and give to others freely.

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace:
where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
where there is sadness, joy.
O divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
to be consoled as to console,
to be understood as to understand,
to be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive,
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
and it is dying that we are born to eternal life. — Amen
Prayer of St. Francis of Assisi
The New Moon is in intimacy (semi-sextile) with the planetoid Astraea (where we experience the purity and awe of divine justice) at 29 Virgo, so there is some master work available to our ability to pull together our own sense of internal balance without blaming someone else or an event for any overemphasis we may feel.

The New Moon is in resource (sextile) with Haumea (where we touch the source of our creativity) at 26 Libra, conjunct the Fixed Star Arcturus (bestowing energy to science and technological innovation) at 25 Libra. We can actively support the search for solutions to living with the COVID-19 virus by believing that this is possible and within the grasp of human ingenuity. Travelling with Haumea and Arcturus is the asteroid Juno (where we experience unity consciousness) at 20 Libra, adding a reminder of our own connection to Oneness.
This New Moon at 27 Leo is in a Grand Fire Manifestation (grand fire trine) with the Earth Star (Moon’s South Node, where we work with our karma) at 27 Sagittarius, which is the Galactic Center of our universe, and conjunct Ixion (where we encounter our soul’s purpose) at 28 Sagittarius. Forming the third leg of the manifestation triangle is Mars (how we move) at 25 Aries, providing great purpose and energy to the actions we take.
A second Grand Manifestation is also present during the New Moon, providing a free flow of Earth energy and grounding all our efforts. Uranus (where we awaken) is at 11 Taurus, Pallas Athena (where we find our inner intuitive wisdom) is at 13 Capricorn, and Orcus (where we encounter our immortality) is at 11 Virgo. This gives us a glimpse, thanks to the lightning bolt effect of Uranus, of inspiration from the wisdom that has endured through time.

The New Moon forms a stepping stone with Sedna (where we tap into the ancient memory of our Earth in the Solar System) at 29 Taurus. This is challenging us to consciously add light and practice reverence for all that we see. Life does not discriminate one form of life for another. Our planet has a unique place in our solar system, and we are just beginning to grasp what it means to live on Earth.
Lastly, forming the backdrop for the New Moon are several potent polarities. The first is between Mars and Eris (our inner disrupter) both at 25 Aries, in a bridge (opposition) with the Fixed Star Arcturus. We can see Earth changes happening before our eyes. Some are within our direct control, and we may be moved — with or without our conscious will — to be in another place or take actions we might otherwise not take.
The second polarity is between Pallas Athena at 13 Capricorn and the Fixed Star Sirius (where we tap into the wisdom of the Masters) at 14 Cancer. We may find ourselves wondering if the Masters really speak to us. This polarity is an opportunity to explore our own sources of Truth. No one can tell you that the universal wisdom of the Masters speaks through you; this must be experienced and trusted on a personal level. Spending some time in a quiet place during the New Moon may provide insights that otherwise might be hard to hear.

The Leo New Moon is also a time to really explore what actions we honestly consider as courageous. Sometimes courage means standing up for ourSelves when no one else will. Believe it or not, this is fairly easy. The deeper, 5D meaning is having the courage to gratefully accept ourselves as we are fully and extend this out to everyone else. When we do this, we can tap the deepest wells of our own creativity and find ways to be of service to humanity.
