March 20 – The Spring Equinox marks a sacred turning point and the Sun’s launch into Aries initiating the Astrological New Year, the beginning of The Beginning. This year will catalyze a quantum leap forward, as we’re traversing the end of one era and the birth of another; a crossover-overlap that will unfold over the next several years.
You are being led into a new world and a new life, so get on board and open to possibilities that are outside the scope of what you envisioned for yourself in the past. This isn’t about thinking “bigger,” it’s a wider lens or a left turn down a lane you hadn’t considered. Stay tuned for clues in your universe.
The Equinox follows the Pisces New Moon that brought closure, endings and dissolution, while the Sun in fiery Aries instigates renewal, a reorientation of old identities and the path forward. New, fresh, bold. The Sun in Aries is energized and upon entering the sign of the pioneer-maverick, it is face to face with Neptune in Aries for the first time. This invites you to energize your dreams with actions and allow the Aries Sun to embrace Spirit, compassion and imagination into the mix.
This is an auspicious time to set intentions, as there is dynamic seeded energy when the Sun crosses the World Axis at 0º Aries. Powerful. Like the acorn becomes an oak tree, trust in what’s calling you forward and what you are motivated to pursue. Plant your acorns. Trust your inspiration. That’s Spirit coming through and if you dream it, it is meant for you.
While Aries signals decisive action, initiation and forward momentum, the drive is colored by the ongoing presence of Mars, Mercury and the fated North Node in Pisces, indicating that movement is guided by intuition, internal attunement and Divine Timing, rather than certainty. We still have one foot in Pisces and now, even more weight in Aries (Sun, Neptune, Saturn, Venus, Moon, Chiron). Align with your Inner Guidance and trust it.
March 20 – Mercury Stations Direct and prepares to turn forward today, but won’t make much progress until March 25, when it begins to move ahead. Continue to gather info and pay attention to downloads, conversations, communications, signs and signals, as Mercury will conjoin the North Node of Destiny all week. What you see (literally or figuratively), hear, learn and discover can redirect the course of your life.
March 21 – Mars trine Jupiter. This is an energy boost, as Mars gives Jupiter a leg up, an infusion of can-do confidence, enthusiasm and optimism. You are ready to expand your world, your outlook, your dreams and move beyond old limitations. Yes to the updraft that sees possibilities and will act to make them happen. You may have high ideals and involve yourself in spiritual activism, taking a stand for those with less power or agency. Mars in Pisces will not fight for themselves, but will take a stand for others who are in need.
March 22 – Sun conjunct Neptune. Soften your heart, rest your mind, body and nervous system. Dream, meditate, utilize spiritual practices that nourish your soul, enjoy leisure and healthy methods to decompress. Less busyness and doing, more presence and Being.
March 23 – North Node conjunct Mercury. This is the third of three meetings (Feb 12, March 17), which can be the completion of a process in which you have a new vision, perspective or direction that redirects your path. You may have a fresh perspective that opens new doors for you. Stay awake to receive info (verbal or non-verbal) that offers even more insight and clarity for your awareness. This is the way to operate going forward—attuned, awake, receptive. Magic.
March 25 – Sun conjunct Saturn. The initial meeting of Sun-Saturn in Aries aligns Aries pioneering drive with Saturn’s disciplined, cautious influence, creating determined, structured ambition. Courage with strategy. Plans for the long term. Deciding what to keep and what to release. Discernment. Less is more. Good for setting goals and boundaries (New Rules) that honor you, your responsibilities and commitments. What you put in place now is important and you can adjust as you go. This is the Fire Horse wearing a halter and saddle and you’re the rider. Disciplined routines and methodical actions become your version of “chop wood and carry water.” Enjoy. Progress will follow…
March 25 – Sun sextile Pluto. This is helpful for tasks requiring heavy lifting or maximum focus, because Aries’ motivation and Pluto’s endurance can sustain prolonged effort and concentration. You may magnetize powerful people into your orbit or embody your own power in some way. You can take action with clarity, focus and persistence, with conscious engagement that yields results.
March 26 – Venus conjunct Chiron and Eris. Chiron is the Wound / Master Healer and Eris is a dwarf planet that rules disruption, discord and takes a stand for those who have been denied, marginalized or excluded. She challenges the status quo, revealing injustice, inequality or hypocrisy and embodies the outsider. Her job is to disrupt and reveal what needs to be seen, creating deep awakening through conflict.
Venus rules love, values, how you value yourself and relationships and conjunct Chiron-Eris, can either be a painful incident that activates an old wound or trauma—or it’s the medicine that heals it. It’s a profound blessing to transform and/or transcend unresolved issues that color your life, interfering with your joy and freedom. This is a gift if you are doing healing work, and if you are triggered today, this is a message from the universe (and your Higher Self) to seek help. You aren’t meant to live permanently as a diminished version of your Self.
This is a profound Spring Equinox, with all planets in Direct motion to activate a rebirth and renewal, personally and collectively. We can only imagine the infinite possibilities that lie before us as we create our future and the new earth, moment by moment.
