We begin the week traveling through the Eclipse portal toward the North Node Lunar Eclipse on Aug 27. Venus in her home sign of Libra invites us to open our hearts, as love will lead the way into the higher timelines. The mind rules in 3D, but life is more harmonious and connected when we live from the heartspace.
Aug 21 – Venus opposite Saturn
This can bring relationship issues, $$ matters, creative obstacles or questions about your values and how you are valued. It can highlight imbalances between giving and receiving, inviting clearer boundaries, serious conversations and practical decisions. Healthy relationships can deepen through honesty, negotiation and commitment, whereas shaky relationships may hit a dead end.
You’re being asked to take responsibility for what you are creating and calling into your life. Maybe you feel a lack of support that illuminates who is and isn’t available for you. If so, the real issue is the lack of support you are giving your Self. You will only allow as much love and support as you believe you deserve, so to upgrade, begin with the way you honor and care for your Self. Then create parameters from there with others.
Aug 22 – Sun conjunct the South Node in Leo
You may be aware of old roles and identities that you’ve outgrown and are ready to let go or you see where you’ve relied on attention, approval and external validation to sustain you. It is a real awakening when you’re ready to use your well developed gifts in new ways by expressing them differently, or in a fresh context of confidence. It’s not only healthy, it’s a completion and turning point, marking a rebirth. You may already be there and if not, try to open to a more collaborative or community-based way of showing up for your next evolving expression.
Aug 22-Sept 22 – Sun in Virgo
The Sun departs fiery Leo to enter analytical Virgo, inviting you to create order and to detox wherever you are out of balance or need rehab, internally or externally. If you have a vision for your future, this is the perfect time to plan practical steps to support your next steps. Practical Virgo rules holistic health, wellness and service, as well as systems, discernment (what’s useful and what’s not) and details.
Rituals and routines are Virgo’s way of making the actions of daily life sacred by imbuing them with mindfulness and reverence, whether you’re handling your To Do list, clearing clutter, exercising or cooking (food is medicine), rather than rushing through your day. This is a wonderful time to begin a new health or wellness regimen and to do something that will enhance your life and create a sense of renewal.
Mindfulness, helping others and honoring the sacred is the antidote to the toxic culture of flash, cash and service to self. We are entering a paradigm of the New Earth (astrology) and the New Era (Human Design), which are both aligned with love, community and contributing to the Greater Good.
Aug 25-Sept 10 – Mercury in Virgo
Mercury is happy at home in Virgo that supports simplifying, clarity and organization. This is ideal for editing, research, analysis, spreadsheets, bookkeeping, clearing, cleansing and anything to do with details and order. Shadow behaviors are mind games — overthinking, worry, perfectionism, self-criticism, hyper-criticism and analysis paralysis. If you find yourself there, take a walk, move your body, listen to binaural beats with headphones. Do something to redirect your energy and don’t torture yourself.
Aug 27 – Mercury Cazimi the Sun
Earlier in the day prior to the Lunar Eclipse, Mercury sits in the heart of the Sun (Cazimi). Mercury in Virgo is already very strong in its home sign and now has the Divine Light of the Sun to illuminate bright ideas to create clarity, specific steps and how-tos or a mental reset. Be sure to write down any thoughts that come through for you, as they may be seeds that will flourish in months to come.
Aug 27 – North Node Lunar Eclipse in Pisces – 9:18pm PDT
The Sun-Mercury in Virgo want order and certainty and they are with the South Node in Leo (leaders, old roles) — and they oppose the everything, everywhere all at once Pisces Moon with the North Node in Aquarius. There’s a setup with diffuse, multi-dimensional Pisces and a North Node in Aquarius that is heading into a new frontier, taking the Virgo planets on a ride.
The Pisces Moon indicates endings and completions, as it’s the last sign in the zodiac and this will be a final final of something if it touches you personally. Eclipses are always unpredictable, it’s their nature. But this Sun-Moon opposition is squared by Uranus, the unpredictable planet of radical change, so something unexpected is bound to occur that will shake up your life or the world in some way. Stay tuned…
Your job is to adapt to any changing circumstances and surrender what has reached a natural ending, whether internal or external. This is a major release that will move you into new territory, liberating you from an old limiting role and/or structure, moving you toward your soul’s evolution (North Node).
Authenticity is the invitation going forward, as all that was once considered to be unacceptable to others (non-conforming) will ultimately be rewarded as we recalibrate in the New Earth / New Era and become REAL. What a concept. This is another step on that yellow brick road.
The more you can open to new ways of being and transcend your old rigid thinking and roles, the better. This is a monumental task and yet it’s simple, but it requires mindfulness to not fall back into autopilot ways of operating.
Want to wake yourself up? Try this: change the way you do one thing. Or how you’ve thought about something. Try on a new idea, perspective or action. It’s an amazing stretch that will challenge your mind and consciousness to grow and practice flexibility.
