The Full Moon in Aries is the first lunar event since the closing of the eclipse wormhole. We are somewhere new and now the light of the Sun’s reflection on the Moon will show us where we still need to calibrate to this new place to which we’ve been delivered.
The Moon is conjunct Neptune and bringing an extremely personal view of the ongoing Uranus/Neptune/Pluto aspects (Neptune forming resources with Uranus and Pluto, and Uranus and Pluto manifesting with each other). The Sun also makes this a Boomerang Yod, where the Sun in Libra is creating a tension that is released by the Moon and Neptune. This “release” has the watery feel of both the Moon and Neptune in Aries- the Divine Spark of Creation. Something can be sparked here when we go into the void (Neptune) and allow ourselves to feel (Moon) what we are being called to feel.
Venus and Haumea are forming a Finger of God with the Moon/Neptune and Uranus/Sedna. A Finger of God is where two or more planetary bodies separated by a resource (sextile) point to planets via two great eliminators. Great eliminators can show us two areas that don’t appear to have anything in common. In this case, with Venus and Haumea in Scorpio being the tension, the heart wants to create something from a place of radical self-love. The Moon and Neptune in Aries is calling something up from the void. What needs to be released in order to satisfy both our heart and our emotional body? More importantly, what parts of ourselves need to be fully loved in order to be able to release? With a full Moon illuminating parts of ourselves that we often don’t see (or want to look at), this is a potent opportunity to turn a loving, compassionate gaze towards the parts of ourselves where we feel shame or guilt. This allows for release and transmutation. Uranus and Sedna ask us how we are speaking with love. Are we walking in alignment with our values and speaking with love and compassion?
During this lunar event Mars and Chiron are also forming a stepping stone with each other and Mars is forming another great eliminator with the Soul Star Chakra (North Node). Chiron is manifesting with the Earth Star Chakra (South Node). The core would that we all live with is activated at this time, and again, this is where we bring love to the wound. Chiron is a master healer not because he overcame his wound and vanquished it, but because he accepted it fully as part of himself. Your core wound may get triggered by Mars in Cancer (perhaps you don’t feel cared for or nurtured, or you give too much care and nurturing for others). This is the time to remember that we are always seeing ourselves reflected back to us, so instead of projecting onto others, shine the light of awareness and compassion on yourself. Chiron manifesting with the Earth Star may provide comfort in old habits and behaviors and it is wise to remain present to these habits and check in to see if they still serve your highest good. Mars in Cancer is asking us to eliminate behaviors around nurturing, the home, and our inner world) that don’t align with where we are going. In other words, if we are overgiving, how we will have anything left in the tank for what we want to create for ourselves? If we don’t nurture our inner world and take the time to process emotions and come into alignment, how we will create from our true power?
This is the time to give full attention to our inner world and let your inner self have a chance to speak. Give yourself the attention of a caring, attuned parent, gazing upon yourself with unconditional love and compassion. Suspend self-judgment and just love yourself. Allow anything that’s ready to go just fall away effortlessly under the light of your self-love.
Journaling Prompts for the Full Moon in Aries:
What is arising from deep within me that needs to be fully felt and expressed?
What parts of myself have I historically looked at with judgment or shame? How does it feel when I shine the light of compassion and self-love on these parts?
What am I afraid will happen if I give myself unrelenting and unconditional self-love?
Where am I over giving? Where am I not honoring my own wants, needs, and boundaries?
