AN UPDATE FROM STEPHANIE: I am recovering slowly but surely, still having some trouble with my eyes, waiting, according to doctor’s orders, another few weeks to see if things get better. The sabbatical I’ve been on is doing me a world of good. I am feeling far more buoyant and hopeful for the future and what it holds. I am incredibly grateful to Shelly for holding down the fort for me as she has, and for all the others who contribute to the site on a regular basis.
Black Moon is getting ready to retrograde at 20 Taurus, and she remains on that degree all day, in a near-miss resourceful aspect to Neptune. Black Moon resources are fairly powerful, and when she resources Neptune, as she does while in Taurus, she uncovers areas of confusion and also areas of crystal clarity that can be used to figure out how to proceed.
It’s a Neptune kind of day as Mercury enters Pisces, Neptune’s sign, resonating with Pallas, Venus, the Sun, and, of course, Neptune. Mercury meets with Pallas in a few days, and with Neptune at the end of the month.
Mercury in Pisces elevates our thinking, making our thoughts and communication more compassionate, opening us to new possibilities. It can also foster confused thoughts, illusions and miscommunications if we indulge in fear-based thinking. We know how to face our fears and lift our Selves up with Love and the discernment of unity consciousness.
Here is Ellias Lonsdale’s meditation for Mercury’s entry into Pisces, reprinted with the author’s permission from his book Star Sparks. By now it should feel familiar:
Pisces 1: A field of dandelions.
“All of us together, everybody here is in on the same current at the same time in the same way. Every one of us is feeling it, hearing it, receiving it in that pulse which the Earth throws forth as our common sphere to lose ourselves and find ourselves within. Everybody is here. All are ready to go.
If we play into and stay plugged into mechanical mental worlds, all the life force gets drained out of us. If we uncover that live wire where it seemed to be gone, we’re at a whole different cycle and nobody can tell where it might go.
But there is this place of needing to remember to foster, to care about, to tend the flame. There is this place where we get swept away, and we don’t arrive in a space we could ever call our own.
To recover, to remember, to realize what enhances life at its source point and what endangers things and makes them lose their focus– that is the great art. Especially when it seems like nobody’s looking, and it doesn’t matter that much what happens under here.
Being present to our own personal soul in the midst of our lives is an attainment. It is something to live for. It is the one thing we cannot do without.
In order to get there, in order to bring ourselves back from those strange places, we learn how to feel what we don’t know we’re feeling, see what we have yet to affirm we could see, pick up on those hidden treasures. We get very good at sneaking up on ourselves. For we know so much depends upon slipping under the ordinary guard who says: This one certainly doesn’t deserve any better than they’ve always gotten. Somebody in here knows a deep way through, and they are sharp enough not to let anybody in on it until we burst through.”
