AN UPDATE FROM STEPHANIE: I am recovering slowly but surely, still having some trouble with my eyes, waiting, according to doctor’s orders, another few weeks to see if things get better. The sabbatical I’ve been on is doing me a world of good. I am feeling far more buoyant and hopeful for the future and what it holds. I am incredibly grateful to Shelly for holding down the fort for me as she has, and for all the others who contribute to the site on a regular basis.
Yesterday’s Venus Sedna resource and today’s Venus Haumea great eliminator forms a Finger of God pointing to Haumea. This is Venus’ last aspect as she winds up her journey through Pisces, and it occurs just before the Sun enters Aries, kicking off the Vernal Equinox. It is fitting that we start the new season, one in which Venus is so prominent, eliminating barriers to Love, wholeness and creativity.
According to Cosmic Consciousness, during the Vernal Equinox, we go from universal consciousness and Spiritual Wisdom (Pisces) through the Portal of Truth to Aries, the quality of consciousness that speaks to Mental Power, the power of the higher Mind, which is where we awaken to the Light of Spirit and move into the next dimension of consciousness. The 0 Aries point is the most important point in the energy system of any being on the planet. It’s where we move from being one with the universal energies to our unique expression of individuality; it’s the birth canal, where physical life takes form. As a world axis point, everyone on the planet is affected.
In the Equinox chart, Jupiter is rising, in an intimate aspect with Neptune. Great wisdom is available, but so is exaggeration. Jupiter expands whatever he touches, and we are privy to higher, enlightened consciousness and heightened clarity, and also exaggeration and confusion. Black Moon squares Jupiter, bringing up hidden Truths and clarifications in the social realm.
The Finger of God between Saturn and Ceres resourcing each other and forming great eliminators to Vesta (and Orcus) continues today and for the next few days. Devotion and connection to the eternal are necessary prerequisites to create systems and constructs that stand the test of time, and it begins with this season.
Mars disposes Aries, and Mars conjoins the Soul Star Chakra (aka North Node) and resources Chiron, signifying the evolutionary changes that are occurring, along with the alignments we are making with our mind/body connection. Our minds are expanding to hold the new consciousness, and it is getting reflected in our body experience. As we discipline our minds, we are altering the structure of our bodies.
Today is a balance point, where we can come to rest in the middle of duality, of yin and yang, masculine and feminine, and take stock of how far we’ve come and where we want to go next.

Aries 1: A man repairing and extending a stone wall in the spring.
“He sticks to the task. He stays in the here and now. He does not want to know anything about the past, or anything about all the complex connections you can make between one thing and another. He is intent on freeing himself from the mind and becoming a will being, an effective agent of change.
He will seek the most straightforward and outwardly unremarkable of contexts and ways to do it. He is allergic to complications. He wants to get to work. He wants to see results. He wants to stay naïve to the overall factors that others insist upon.
He has this notion and he is right on it. His notion is that somebody around here should do what is needed, get down to it and shut up. He has heard enough to last forever. All he can believe in now is what works, what advances things, what moves the energy somewhere interesting.
His skills, focus, and aim are incredible. When you’re this intent upon one thing only, you get it straight. And he loves that sensation of getting it right, of being on.
Yes, he does like others to notice. Yes, he does feel fervor. He’s got an attitude. There are lots of things he doesn’t like. This is someone who has a very particular point of view and a very particular direction in life.
When you are a rough, straight arrow and not very sensitized to the nuances, you can indeed get yourself in lots of trouble. But when you are willing to work hard and are good at second winds and taking it to the next level, you can easily outlive your own folly. Bangs on the head are nothing here.”
