HERE’S MORE COSMIC CONSCIOUSNESS FROM  Shelly LealJan Finley, Christine ClemmerSonreyaand Vivian Small!

The people at Night Sky Pix asked me to post this pretty amazing video they are offering on how to properly and safely photograph a solar eclipse. You can Check it out right here. As of 5:44pm this evening, (EDT) the Sun crosses the world axis, entering Cancer, and producing this year’s Solstice. The Solstice is an interesting phenomenon, in that it is the closest thing to a station of the Sun that we have. The Sun never goes retrograde, but when it approaches a solstice, either in June or in December, it slows down a great deal, so much so that it barely moves for three days. In the Northern hemisphere, the Sun has reached its zenith point. That is, after today and tomorrow, it will rise in the heavens a little bit lower each day. n the Southern Hemisphere, the Sun has reached its lowest point, and will begin to rise in the sky a little more each day from here, making the days longer until the next Solstice.

The Cancer Sun, newly across the world axis, has performed two very significant events within the last few hours. The solstice has arrived… that is the Sun has reached its highest point in the ecliptic in the northern hemisphere, producing the longest day of the year, and it has reached its lowest point on the ecliptic in the southern hemisphere, producing the shortest day of the year there. These hemispheres of the planet are something spectacular to behold. The solstice produces a world axis experience wherever you are on the planet. The difference is in the way the consciousness responds to the actual location of the Sun.
The world axis is about the seasons and humanity. Whenever the sun crosses the world axis, the season changes. That has a global and very profound effect on the collective consciousness. Those in the north are ready to get out into the sunshine and enjoy, it’s a personal experience, as according to Cosmic Consciousness this portal connects the mental body with the emotional. It’s very personal.
The winter solstice connects the physical body with the spiritual, and it is a deeply profound experience of going in and rebirthing a new cycle of the Self. When winter approaches we prepare to spend time indoors, around the fire, gathering warmth and meditating upon the meaning of life.
This particular pass over the world axis coincides with a new Moon and an annular solar eclipse. This is also known as a ring of fire eclipse, because the Moon doesn’t completely cover the Sun and it looks as though there is a ring of fire around the Moon, Solar eclipses reboot our consciousness. The generator that is the Sun gets blocked temporarily and then turns back on again. Energy is interesting this way, it is never the same twice. And there’s no telling what that new energy will look like or where it will take us.
Please join me today for my annual Live Solstice Webinar… This is such an important and unprecedented time, it’s worth getting the lay of the cosmic land. Please have a look at Vivian Small’s Moon report for much more on the eclipse today. And here is Ellias Lonsdale’s meditation for today’s New Moon/Eclipse/Sideways Elevator, reprinted with the author’s permission from his book Star Sparks…

Cancer 1: A potter at work.

There is a formative pattern which expresses itself when we can let it through with sensitivity and conscious attunement. It has a voice, a call, a characteristic feel. And when you get in the groove of letting the whole stream into this part, the tension dissolves and spirit reverberates everywhere.
It’s a craft, a practice, a discipline. And this requires careful cultivation. You need great readiness, a practical skill to set the tone for spirit to do it’s great work here. And all the steps and stages, all the learning and growth are already part of the guided pattern, instrumentally choreographed by those who know.
Yet once you’re there, it’s so simple, so basic, so commonsensical. You lend yourself to the movement, to the music, to the pulse-beat. Your fingers know. Your whole body bears the resonance.
So this wants to become a return to what is natural, a restoring of ancient timeless way. It seeks to manifest a remembrance and a rededication. And when these things are forthcoming, they will seem intrinsic, implicit, nothing to think about.
Deep inside the pattern there is dispassion, a viewpoint far removed from the action carried over from before. There is this cosmic beholding power, this witnessing intelligence.
Yet the whole movement here is to become as common and accessible as can be. The guided instrumentation is to join forces with the whole of humanity. Then what wants to come through will be basic, popular, obvious, clear, the next place to go.
