Think back to the summer of 2013, when a major Power crossroad came up… that is what was once known as a Cardinal Cross, featuring a Jupiter Pluto bridge and crossed by a Venus Uranus bridge. It made us all aware of the huge expansion that was at hand, and each of us, in our own way, made a choice to step more fully into our hearts and become empowered with Love.
That was just the beginning of a huge, very prolonged Power cross that resonated so loudly through the rest of that year that in January of 2014 it was reactivated when Mars took Venus’ place, went retrograde, and kept that same Power cross active all the way through the Summer of 2014. A power crossroad… that is a chance to step up into our most empowered Selves, with Uranus (and the beginnings of our awareness of Eris’ power) bridging first Venus and then Mars.
That was the full blown activation of the Divine Feminine Self, which made the true Divine Masculine archetype (Mercury) reemerge at last. And that was the last time Mars was retrograde. Since Mars has dominion over the physical realm, his retrogrades usually provide profound change at that level.
Mars is, as we know retrograde again. This week another gigantic crossroad manifests, this one a wisdom (formerly mutable) cross. This Wisdom Crossroad involves the giant planets, Jupiter, Saturn and Neptune, along with the Sun and Moon, coming together for the Gemini New Moon that occurs in conjunction with Venus.
A New Moon in Gemini conjunct Venus is going to bring a transcendence of the highest order. The heart centered triumph over duality, and the beginning of getting very comfortable with polarity as a way of life here on Earth.
Mars is also involved in this Crossroad, and he is retrograde this time too. This time his involvement directly involves Mercury. Mars and Mercury will form a bridge of their own just inside the energy of the Uranus Eris conjunction on June 8 and 9, and Mercury will then come into the Wisdom cross, energized by his bridge with Mars.
And finally Mars will activate this new way of being when he returns to Sagittarius in August and comes together with Saturn. We are dealing with slow moving planets (other than the inner planets), and this crossroad will be with us for a long time.
We are newly upgraded and rewired, and this wisdom crossroad promises to show us a new way of life. One where options are never separate from one another, and every road is passable simultaneously. Our physicality has (and is being) so fully transmuted by Mars’ retrograde in Scorpio, that we are already bilocating and more.
It is possible to stand in the middle of a four way crossroad and take each and every road without moving. Such is the essence of the new consciousness. And we are barely getting started.
