I would love to stay on the topic of facing the core and all that it offers us, but there’s just too much going on. I want to thank those of you who took the time to share your realizations with me in response to my sharing. I am going to quote some of you in the near future, because the awakening that is taking place here is breathtaking. For now, though, I want to discuss the one planetary connection that takes place today, a Mars Uranus semisextile, because it opens doors to a great many happenings.
I didn’t even create a chart for this connection, because it is a subtle (formerly minor) aspect. But subtle aspects are every bit as important as dynamic (formerly major) ones, because without them we would be unable to step into the unfolding energies that are occurring within us.
The semisextile is an aspect of intimacy. It produces connection that is only just developing, and that produces awareness of what is possible from here. For this reason I think of it as an aspect of growth.
Mars, disposing the body and the physical realm and Uranus, one of the Great Awakeners, delivering us to the Higher Self, come together in ways that produce connections and meaning we didn’t have yesterday. The value of astrology is the capacity to know this is happening, so that we can be open for those new realizations, and grasp their significance when they come. Astrology can not, and never could, describe those connections… those are the result of the collective consciousness in any given moment, and they can not be predicted.
As I’ve said many times before, predicting what is to come is the very same thing as denying the potential that is limitlessly inherent in any event or opportunity. For too long we have valued ‘understanding’ much more than ‘experiencing’ and that has been the main problem for humanity, if there is such a thing.
Mars and Uranus are opening the way today for new physical/conscious realizations. It’s an opening, and it’s subtle. To gain more clarity, it’s important to look at what Mars and Uranus are doing in their own right.
Mars is headed for a conjunction with Chiron on Monday, which is a very HUGE connection, since Chiron presides over all wholing processes, and all wholing depends on the state of the physical to be complete (at least as long as we are in physical form). We are all in the middle of a huge core wholing right now, and once this new cycle between Mars and Chiron begins on Monday, the wholing process will move into a new stage and the intensity that was brought on by the Cancer Full moon/Power intersection will diminish.
Uranus has recently gone direct, is in the process of producing the first ever conscious new cycle with Eris, the other Great Awakener, and is currently in a triple bridge with Jupiter Haumea as well. That light bridge is taking us collectively to Unity consciousness.
Even more significantly, Uranus is about to take over as dispositor of the Sun, which moves into Aquarius next week. All in all, this Mars Uranus semisextile today sets us up for a passage of physical realignment with the higher Self and with the collective.
Pay special attention to connections with others now, especially as they shift and change, or come up out of the blue. But through all of that, don’t take your focus off you and who you are. Nothing else really matters.
