As we move into October, we enter what I have long considered a three-month preview of the year ahead. October is a 1 month, November a 2, and December a 3. In my experience, the themes, circumstances and energies that begin presenting themselves in October tend to return—often more fully developed—in January. What emerges in November will find its next expression in February 2027, and what appears in December becomes part of the story of March. I have watched this pattern unfold year after year.
So pay attention. At a moment when we truly do not know what comes next, these three months can offer us a glimpse. Think of what arrives now as a trailer, not the movie itself—a hint of the consciousness, choices, relationships and possibilities that are preparing to take form. But there is one important caution: do not interpret what appears through the lens of the past. If something looks familiar, resist the temptation to assume you already know what it means or where it is going. We are entering new territory. Let October show you something you have never seen before—even if, at first glance, you think you have.
