We have arrived at the end of that humongous worm hole, and with today’s Cancer New Moon, we are delivered to an entirely new realm, a new mind/heart balance, and a brand new chapter of this amazing moment on the planet. As we approach this moment, a comet, NEOWISE, passes through our skies, just below the big dipper in the northeast, just where the New Moon occurs today (29 Cancer). One of my brilliant readers mentioned that she sees “Now I See” in the name of that comet, which only comes around once every 6,700 years.
It’s a powerful moment, when unprecedented events are taking place. almost relentlessly. This is the second Cancer New Moon in a row, in itself a rarity. Astrology has no name for this phenomenon, but it isn’t possible that it doesn’t have some significance, even if it isn’t labeled. During the past weeks SEVEN planets have changed direction, and today Eris adds her substantial wake up energies to the mix, going retrograde at 3:37pm EDT.
Eris is part of the ongoing Power Intersection that has graced our heavens for many months. She is in a long term Light Bridge with Haumea and Arcturus, waking us to new forms of creative manifestation and scientific breakthrough. These planets are “crossed” by yet another Light Bridge, one that involved the Sun, the Moon, Mercury, Sirius, Vesta in Cancer and Jupiter, Saturn, Chariklo and Pluto in Capricorn. THAT’S TWELVE planets producing two of the most significant Light Bridges we’ve had available to us, maybe ever.
These are ACTIVE Bridges. That is, they are all busily forming major planetary events that will take us all the way through the new Year. It seems as though just about every single planet is involved in an important process that is producing a new vibration for us to work with. Venus is recovering her shadow, as is Mercury. The Black Moon is taking a couple of days off before she reached the world axis and goes direct at 0 Aries on Wednesday.
Today the Sun forms another bridge with Saturn, completing the exact Light Bridge that’s been active for a few days now. The Sun gives Light and Life. When he produces Light Bridges, we can see so much more clearly what has been there all along.
Eris’s station is very important because she awaits her dance with Mars. Mars will arrive there with the Black Moon between August 10 and 13 for the first time. Mars goes retrograde in mid September and he will dance with the Black Moon and Eris for the rest of the year. Eris moves very very slowly, and her retrograde wouldn’t change the timing of Mars’ arrival, but the retrograde motion changes the experience. The first hit in early August, just after the Lion’s Gate, brings major inner awakening. The second hit, when both Eris and Mars are retrograde, on October 1, is ALSO accompanied by the Black Moon (can’t make it up), and that promises to take us to all new higher levels of awareness where our well being and the physical experience on the planet is concerned. There are certainly some major awakenings on tap.
And finally today, that Cancer New Moon that deactivates the two month long wormhole we’ve just come through. The New Moon occurs at 29 Cancer, the Master degree of the Earth Mother consciousness. It’s important to remember that we have been delivered to an entirely new portion of our consciousness… that at first we won’t know exactly where we are.. It will take some time, some care, and probably the recovery of the Venus and Mercury shadows, (just about another week), PLUS the entire Mars retrograde journey, to get our bearings. By the time the Mars cycle ends, we will enter the next worm hole, which is profoundly related to this one.
Before I offer up Ellias Lonsdale’s meditations for the Eris station and the New Moon, I want to mention the importance of keeping your focus aimed high. Refuse to be diverted to the fantastical energies that are dominating the 3D realm. Don’t try to figure it all out… it isn’t possible. TRUST, TRUST that it’s all happening as it is meant to, for the highest good of all. Sometimes that isn’t the easiest passage, but it never fails in the end.

“The dark deep inside seeking to emerge from a spell, from an enchantment, from a curse. The shadows, the beast, the serpent, the dragon of legend and myth stirring, restlessly, pervasively, bringing forth longings and desires previously suppressed and denied.
Secrets and mysteries. Realms within realms. So much to get back in touch with now. A promise to the children of the future to come alive at the appointed times. The inquiries of karma and of destiny. That which cannot be understood, will not conform to convention.
A wildness, a raw primal quality of needing an immense outlet for a huge energy that never had a place here. A desperate drive to let these things emerge, or else feel trapped and stuffed and caught in meaningless retrials of self avoidance at all cost.
An emotional energy of ferocious intensity. So deep. So forbidden. So strange to the modern ways. Called to merge, to tap the depths, to activate the dormant powers for the sake of the whole.
An absolutely extraordinary ability to draw forth what was hidden in each and all. A threshold capacity to elicit confidence and strength and new forces in those who are seeking a further unfoldment beyond the known.
The world’s most fertile energy frequency. Yet often postponed, or held in reserve. Captured by pasts and futures at war with each other. The shadow must be honored if the light is to dawn. All of this is known and sensed with overwhelming force. It will come out. It will come through.”

“We have all been here before! We have swum in these waters. We have joined the formation of a budding civilization. We have paid our dues. We have entered upon the follies. And we have most of all come to a place of rest in the thickest of disputes and conflicts. We have learned how to get through and to keep on flowing.
Now there comes a difficult lesson. So much that we know is of the past, is made possible by the soul group we belong to. In so many ways, we become everybody around us, we live their lives as our own. It has been such a dream, such an endless dream.
Yet as we keep on moving through the same currents forever, as we flow with the familiar and the comfortable, the trance starts to wear off. We have the strange sensation of being forced back upon ourselves to determine what we think, what we feel, what we know inside.
It is a rude awakening. When you are this accustomed to merging within the pattern that is given, the first point of coming forth on your own feels to be a terrible severance, a deprivation, a loss. It is hard to find the blessing in it.
Therefore, the drama must go on. All the currents of stirring up the waters, the turbulence and the issues, these things must play out. When you’ve been just a part of something always there and you are led deeply to find your own inner way, there are tearings, it isn’t easy.
Yet the blessing really is that somebody is being born who can follow a spirit that is bright and clear and so true.”
