Honestly, I feel that with the upcoming Mars retrograde cycle and absolutely everything it entails, we are all headed for a proverbial Hero’s Journey, and if we take it on collectively, as one, earnestly and with devotion, this can truly be the road to the new world. The Journey has three parts, and so does the retrograde cycle. The first part, known as the ‘Departure’. constitutes the current period, as Mars moves through is retrograde shadow (July 25 – Nov 9). The second part, the ‘Initiation” occurs while Mars retrogrades (Sept 9 – Nov 13), and finally, the “Return” occur while Mars recovers his shadow, (Nov 14 – Jan 1, 2021). These are dates, but try not to think in terms of time. Consider it a space we all have to expand into.
Mars transits his own sign, but he has evolved into an entirely new kind of archetype. We are adjusting to this new set of energies as we go. Mars, along the way, and in each and every part of this journey, connects with so many other archetypes, including those 12 stepping stones to the Capricorn planets that are transforming life as we know it here on the planet.
We are headed for parts unknown and it is precisely this opportunity that we are here for. Take a closer look at the steps laid out along the way… It’s no coincidence that we just sent a brand new Rover to Mars to find out more than we’ve ever known before. It’s time for Mars to reveal his secrets to us, and we can thank the Black Moon and Eris for that.

Today Mercury is busy, which means there’s a lot to know or realize, and Uranus is stationing to go retrograde tomorrow morning. This is that loud crash of a moment when the Truth, completely unexpected, makes itself known and wakes us up forever.
