This is a comment from Larry Liebling:

“It occurred to me this morning that for as long as I can remember, and I’m 64, I’ve always felt like there’s some great secret out there or even inside me. That there was something I didn’t know about the world or myself, and needed to find out — that once I did, my being would be “whole.” And today that feeling seems really off. I wondered does everyone feel that way? Is it some existential ingredient in the human experience that propels all of us forward? Yet I can’t get away from feeling that at the core of this impulse is the notion, “not good enough.”  When I explore and connect deeply with feeling the joy in experiencing my life, “not good enough because I don’t know the secret,” disappears. This morning it seems like reveling in my experience in the moment is the only antidote to the racing pulse of “need to know.”

This is such a brilliant observation, and in my opinion, it’s the key to leaving the 3D experience behind….

For thousands and thousands of years we have been misinterpreting what it means to be here on Earth, embodied in a physical form. Because of the experience of separation, which is the ‘thing’ about being here, we automatically feel incomplete, ‘less than’ the moment we are born into a physical body. The “separation” is echoed, or repeated, with our birth. We go from a oneness with Mother to an individual form. Once born, all we can do is embrace and be embraced by the Mother (or the Father), and that just never seems like enough.

We wonder what’s missing. We can’t figure out how to be whole again. We spend lifetime after lifetime trying to understand or ‘figure it out’, and many feel that ‘something’ that is ‘out there’ that seems to be promised but never accessed. It’s a mind game and the mind game is fraught with fear. And fear is the generator of the illusion of time. And we’ve been here for SUCH a long time chasing this ‘understanding’ that simply can’t be attained.

Larry has awakened… He gets that gratitude and joy are the only way to move our Selves into the heart and out of the mind all together. Enjoying what is, just BEING, brings freedom from the game of understanding. In BEING there is more and more of the realization of Self. The answers were with us all along. We have spend lifetimes chasing for something we kept trying to understand when we had it within us fully realized all along.

It’s a big day. Those Mars aspects are certainly bringing October surprises. Mars is the original dispositor of Scorpio, where today’s New Moon takes place. We are going very very deep. Actually, Shelly Leal made a brilliant observation about the current energies as she reflected on Ellias Lonsdale’s meditation for yesterday’s Venus Saturn connection:

“Everything feels like a crescendo. Ellias’ meditation is off the hook! I got an image of a tidal wave, and some surfing the wave on the top, moving forward in joyful exhilaration (although scary and exciting too, since we don’t know where we’re going…). At the same time, there are those who get pushed under the wave, with the water crashing down on top, but somehow they are safe within, and they come through the other side as the wave passes, bobbing up to the surface, washed clean and ready for the new. We are all gonna get there, just through different experiences. As strange and intense as things seem to be, I’m feeling hopeful….”

It’s true.. Some are flying high, some are feeling dispersed, like the misty spray of the wave’s foam, and others are being thrown deeply into the core of their being. But it’s like I’ve been saying all along.. It’s a wave, it will pass and it is designed to deliver us to the next shore.

Today’s New Moon is profound. Don’t miss Anne Harris’s column this month (link above) It’s off the hook.. And here is Ellias Lonsdale’s   meditation for today’s New Moon in Scorpio, reprinted with his permission, from his book Star Sparks:

Scorpio 8:  A retarded man with white hair, he has an angelic countenance.

“He doesn’t get it. He hasn’t been allowed to see what everybody else sees. This creates so many problems. There are gaps everywhere. He doesn’t know what anybody’s talking about really. Yet he must somehow.

He doesn’t assume what everybody does around here. He acts like he just came from the place of all beginnings. And he never does wipe that smile off his face.

The Holy Fool doesn’t like to be one. It seems like a very old simplistic place to hang out. Yet inside that multiple disguise, what is cooking here? What is working so deeply, so utterly?

It’s like he threw in the towel on the whole modern experiment somewhere along the line, and now he inherits from himself this peculiar legacy of being such an outsider that he’s a true insider.

What can he do with himself really? How can he even conceive of what is happening to him? Does it all feel overwhelmingly intense, or hardly intense at all?

Well, it’s like being thrown open to every state anybody could ever be in, but you are just visiting it, just seeing it, not quite tangled up there, yet somehow more involved, more passionately committed than anybody would be able to take if they knew.  Let’s throw them off and keep it moving light and free all around us, and see how long we can stay anonymous, floating free, watery.

There are no options really. There are no [obvious]  ways out. When you get in this deep, you really have to swim, and it’s a new kind of swimming. For you’re in with everybody, and you can feel the same edge in all of us. And you know you gotta carry it awhile. And you know it’s beautiful, it’s strange, and it’s needed.”

“Exploring the unknown requires tolerating uncertainty.”
