We are crossing a threshold this week, moving from a Capricorn stellium on the New Moon into Aquarius energy at this profound new beginning. With eight planets at the end of their signs connecting with each other, we have an extraordinary convergence, indicating completions, along with a network of cosmic potential.
There will be a series of aspects and sign changes layered upon each other, occurring back to back, so what you experience may be a brief interlude before something else appears. A feeling, an event, an opening, an insight, an interaction—whatever it is, make the most of it when life offers you an opportunity.
Jan 17 – Venus kisses Neptune in flowy Pisces goodbye one final time, encoding a dream or Divine vision for you to carry forward. Tap into your Higher Self to receive messages or guidance—and whatever you see, hear or feel, believe it. You may not know its significance yet, and if you do, good. Stay tuned… On a 3D level, choose a spiritual practice, offer love or indulge your senses in a pleasing way.
Next, Venus enters independent Aquarius, where it will focus on equality, groups, networks and friends. Venus is the first personal planet to leave Capricorn and move into Aquarius, but the others will follow one by one this week, bringing a shift in consciousness and frequency as you land in a more objective energy. Venus asks: What do you value now, who is important to you, and do value yourself as a way of life?
The Sun plugs into Saturn for stability, then Uranus for stimulation or liberation, as you prepare for the New Moon tomorrow and going forward. Make plans and step out of your old box.
Jan 18 – The New Moon at 28º Capricorn @ 11:52am PST. With the Sun, Moon, Mercury and Mars in Capricorn and Venus-Pluto in Aquarius all connected on this new beginning, everybody is at the party. It’s even more exceptional because the New Moon Stellium (personal planets) are harmonizing with Saturn, Uranus and Neptune, transpersonal energy that can shapeshift life in ways you can’t foresee.
Capricorn is the sign of Authority and it’s also your Inner Authority. If you outsource your authority and truth, needing external validation/permission to function, it’s time for that to end. You claim your Authority by being responsible, conscious, in integrity and committed to your Self. To thine own heart be true. Make that an intention if it’s not built in already.
The cosmic alignment for intentions you set now is turbo-charged, with support around structure, innovation, authenticity, communication, connections, plans, strategic moves and intuitive guidance all highlighted. You decide if you’re ready to take a risk and tap into this field of potential with any aligned actions (the alignment is with your dreams, intentions, goals and integrity).
Valuing and trusting your Self and are your superpowers, along with access to your Inner Guidance, whether it’s intuitive or a gut feeling (yes-no). Nobody knows what’s right for you better than you do, so get info and run it through YOUR filter when making decisions. Giving your power away (obedience as a way of living) is being a passenger in your own life. Chiron in Aries says: Be your Self and live your truth.
Mercury-Mars has something to say and if so, say what you mean and mean what you say, but don’t say it mean. You can be productive, but Mars can pop out of your mouth unexpectedly, being pushy, reactive or judgmental. However, this is in Capricorn so there should be restraint—plus, Saturn is harmonizing and grounding the energy. You may have the courage to set a boundary, speak up or ask for what you want (contract, work, plans). Yes to that!
Jan 19 – Dr. Martin Luther King Day. The Sun enters Aquarius, sign of equality. The futuristic air sign is rational, authentic (unique), attuned to sci-fi, tech, friendship, groups, organizations and the Greater Good. This is free spirit energy, thinking outside the box. An innovative problem solver. Get used to this vibe, b/c this is where we’ll be living with Pluto in Aquarius for the next 20 years.
Venus conjunct Pluto. This brings depth in relationships, seeking what’s hidden and buried intentionally or not. This will show up on the global stage with secrets being revealed around relationships, $$ and trust. This should be interesting. In your life, there’s an opportunity to become aware of shadow energy around relationships, $$, trust issues. This is for awareness and correction.
There are three more aspects today, all harmonious, offering opportunities to take action, grow, plan and take a risk. Tune within to feel what you are called to do. Trust yourself, rather than always following a map. That’s empowerment.
Also, just before a planet enters Aquarius this week, it will encounter flowy Neptune briefly, allowing for a vision, intuitive or creative hit, or you may feel extra emotional. Don’t worry, nothing is wrong. Go with it and use it for your benefit and the benefit of others.
Jan 20-Feb 4. Mercury in Aquarius. You may download inventive solutions or have a new perspective. Smart, objective viewpoints. Rational and great for future ideas, projects and plans.
Jan 21 – Sun Cazimi Mercury. Open to Divine Guidance, signs, messages or revelations that inform your vision, future and decisions you need to make. Allow new info, ideas, synchronicity and awareness to align with your wisdom and insight, as what comes through are the seeds of your future. Journal, channel, contemplate or sit in silence to create sacred space to attune to what’s present for you.
Jan 22 – Mercury conjunct Pluto. Secrets, hidden communications, documents revealed. Speaking truth to power. Stay tuned. What to do you say (or not say) to betray or abandon yourself? These are changes you can make that will change your life. Aquarius is not about fitting in. Stand out. Be yourself.
Finally, Mars sextile Neptune. Either Wu Wei (flowing around obstacles), creative activities, spiritual practices or leisure. Wu Wei is powerful in a quiet, aligned way. You don’t have to be high energy to make things happen…

Jan 23 – Sun conjunct Pluto. This should be a heavy day as exposure, power plays and irreversible awareness (corruption) may be revealed. Prepare to see a cold, hard truth that changes the playing field. Or you can use it for personal empowerment if you make a change around giving your power away or diminishing yourself.
To add to the excitement, the New Moon in Capricorn marks the opening of the Eclipse Wormhole, where we travel a short distance to a vastly new reality. We’ll have a Solar Eclipse on Feb 17 in Aquarius. Stay tuned…
Focus on where you’re being called to go, feel your heart’s desires and honor them, trust in Divine Order and know that when you are aligned with your Higher Self, you are on the right path.
Nobody will stay the same. That’s not why we’re here; we’re here to participate in this grand propulsion that is transforming life as we know it. We are here to stabilize frequencies within the change.
