We have a dramatic reset this week propelled by fated shifts that will shake up the world and activate fertile potential that unfolds over the coming months. The Year of the Fire Horse (Chinese astrology) gallops in with abandon, passion and acceleration on the Solar Eclipse, Mardi Gras and Ramadan. Talk about everything all at once… within the Eclipse Wormhole (a short distance between different realities).
Feb 13 – Saturn in Aries. A major new era is activated as the Saturn (structure and authority) joins experiential Neptune at 0º Aries, the beginning of the zodiac. Neptune entered Aries on Jan 26, initiating a fresh wave of intention and motivation. Watch for significant new beginnings, with seeds planted as commitments sustained by disciplined follow-through. Saturn-Neptune haven’t met at 0º Aries in 6000+ years, so this is monumental and unprecedented for us. Stay tuned…
Aries initiates and Saturn structures. Pursue what inspires you with a plan and discipline, strategic assertiveness with commitment to what you will bring into form. For best results channel impulse into endurance, as you create a foundation for who you are becoming in this new era.
Personally, a rebirth is being initiated or percolating within you. You’ll know when you’re ready for action with the Aries-Fire Horse energy, to choose your direction and redirect the trajectory of your life. If you’ve felt exhausted or unclear, this is when you begin to awaken and recover your vitality. We are in process with a fire lighting the way.
Feb 15/16 – Sun square Uranus. Get ready for disruption, rebellion or innovation. You may experience a breakthrough or the desire for liberation after suppressing or ignoring your needs—or another’s actions may be the catalyst to force the issue. Liberation and reorganization may be called for. I recommend making proactive changes if needed in order to direct the energy, rather than being at the effect of it.
Feb 16 – Mercury trine Jupiter. This is the first of three meetings as Mercury’s Retrograde will extend its stay in Pisces, going back over Jupiter in early March and then forward in April. There are big ideas, fruitful communications, connections, good news, inspiration and optimism. Make any major purchases and sign contracts now while Mercury is still in Direct motion.
Mercury is in its Pre-Retrograde Shadow, covering territory it will retrace when it turns Retrograde on Feb 26, so be mindful that current events may be extended for the next few months. Not a bad thing, because anything that is drawn out will continue to evolve as you discover weak spots that call for revision. Aries in methodical Saturn will slow the pace down to see what’s structurally sound, which is helpful for Mercury in Pisces. Structure isn’t Pisces’ domain and it can use the support.
Feb 17 – Solar Eclipse at 29º Aquarius @ 4:01am PST, a turbo-charged New Moon (new beginning) inside a Wormhole that catalyzes sudden changes and unexpected, fated events, especially with Uranus square the Solar Eclipse. With Saturn-Neptune at 0º Aries in an impactful activation, it’s effects will reverberate for years to come.
This is a shakeup that will affect the collective (Aquarius), as community will be an anchor now and going forward; the groups you belong to, your tribe(s), your people. We’re all in this together, which is not an ominous message—community is the collective Aquarius web of connection that we are moving into. We are each vital aspects of the whole and it’s important to belong as part of a group.
There is a sweet spot on the Solar Eclipse: Venus conjunct the North Node (Destiny) in Pisces, which can bring a fated relationship, a compassionate woman, a female leader, Divine feminine energy, while beauty, art and quality of life areas are highlighted. The North Node indicates something incoming that will lead us forward and Venus in Pisces is exalted, so be open to the transcendent energy of Divine Love, empathy, compassion and grace.
This is also the Lunar New Year: Year of the Fire Horse in Chinese astrology, Mardi Gras and the holy days of Ramadan that go through March 19. The Eclipse energy may touch you personally and a new beginning may appear in a flash or someone around you is affected, but it will deliver notable shifts that will change the world as we know it, sooner or later…
Feb 18 – Sun in Pisces. We go from the electric Eclipse energy into the soft, flowy soulful world of mystical Pisces. You may feel wired or overstimulated, needing to rest and restore your body, mind and nervous system.
Pisces transcends the 3D world, ruling your Higher Self. It is otherworldly, ultra-sensitive and attuned to those who have less power (the underdog), always caring and wanting to help. We have the Sun, Moon, North Node, Mercury and Venus all in Pisces and everyone may be more sensitive and intuitive. As the final sign of the zodiac, it’s good for releasing anything you have outgrown or what no longer resonates with you. Gently and reverently let go to create space for the new.
Honor this experiential energy that calls you within to find peace and surround yourself with essentials that nurture your Being. Pisces is “yin” energy, receptive with no boundaries, and it needs solitude to decompress from a harsh world that can feel overwhelming. Meditation, nature, pets, children, gentle movement, music, art, dance and being in or near the water are nourishing for Pisces. Take good care of yourself in these active times and create space for yourself to be still. Peace and quiet are nourishing, as are deep, slow inhales and exhales.
Disruptive forces are still at work. You decide where to focus. If you have a purpose, a project or a path of discipline, it can serve you well in these turbulent times. Your routines, work and self-care are all spiritual practices if treat them that way. Have reverence for yourself and your life, then allow it to radiate out to your loved ones, your circle and the world.
Things are changing already. Truth is coming out slowly, but it’s coming. Tap into the Aries and Fire Horse energy that keeps the flame burning and never gives up. There’s great vitality available for you to tap into and if you need help, please get it.
