We are living in the midst of an ongoing series of dramatic daily shocks, inside a macro level transformation that’s beyond our capacity to grasp intellectually. We try, but we are in the experience. The world is being delivered from one form to another and it feels destabilizing, disregulating, chaotic, confusing—like Alice going through the looking glass, but with more velocity, intensity, aggression and force.
The 3D experience is challenging as the world jolts and old structures decompensate. You may or may not feel it daily, but it’s a lot for your nervous system to handle. Honor your resilience and know that it’s your job to take exquisite care of yourself. We need you here.
Feb 6-April 14 – Mercury departs the futuristic Aquarius stellium (4 planets) to enter soft, dreamy Pisces. It’s quite a dramatic shift in thinking, processing, attunement and focus — from rational innovation to Oneness, compassion, Spirit, creativity, imagination and awe. Like a kaleidoscope of colorful hues that can soothe your mind. Your nervous system will be grateful for the gentleness of Mercury in flowy Pisces, but your feelings may run high and it’s not helpful for linear details (tax season will be interesting with Mercury in Pisces…).
Mercury will be in Pisces for two months because we have Mercury Retrograde from Feb 26-March 20 and then it has to travel back through the Pisces territory before moving into Aries on April 14. Get ready for a journey through a new lens that offers perspectives that you haven’t experienced before (especially with all the ongoing revelations). It may be wondrous, illuminating or like being in a hall of mirrors with distorted reflections. Or all of it.
I assure you that there is a purpose and there are methods for utilizing this multidimensional energy that will serve your emotional intelligence while delivering insightful messages in nonlinear ways. Your spiritual practice will be attuning to your intuition, noticing the signs and feelings that arise, while trusting your gut. Remember, Mercury in Pisces is extremely intuitive, with radar for detecting BS when at its best.
Neptune’s ingress into Aries (on Jan 26) initiated a new wave of intention and motivation, while Saturn lingers at the final degree of Pisces for one more week, bringing endings and closures. No matter how you try to hold on, if it’s complete, it’s over. Letting go with faith is a superpower — the opposite of resistance, that will support you, especially when you feel uncertain. Faith that the Greater Good is operating (for you and All) is the primary belief that will help you align with “what is,” so you can regroup and choose your next steps.
Feb 8 – Venus square Uranus. This can trigger a sudden desire for something spicy, a radical departure from the usual re: beauty, style, a need for space or stimulation via an activity, relationship or pursuit that is out of the ordinary for you. A need to break out of stagnant or oppressive energy that feels heavy or suffocating to create space, freedom, rebellion. Or maybe it’s your partner or child. Whatever, you may have to pivot to align with unexpected issues pertaining to your value and your values. Notice what’s calling for your attention, if anything, and know that this is a message for you.
Feb 10-March 6 – Venus in Pisces. Venus is exalted in the sign of Divine Love, compassion, empathy; it is the experiential meaning of the Sanskrit word, “namaste:” the Divine in me bows to the Divine in you. Reverence. Love that is honoring.
Or on the lower side, spiritual bypassing reality to idealize another, idol worship, addiction, escapism. The opportunity to create or enjoy exquisite art, music and other creative endeavors. It fuels spiritual practices, bonding with your beloved, children, pets and loved ones. Forgiveness, care for those who have less, an open, receptive heart, a precious gift.
Feb 11 – Sun sextile Chiron. You may have a healing around your identity and self-expression today, honoring yourself rather than passing judgment or feeling insecure about any perceived deficiency. The ultimate Sun experience is to be your Self, joyfully and generously radiating your light.
If anything inhibits you, you have the opportunity to integrate the false belief that is limiting you. The world is waiting for your unique emanation of intelligence. Truth. I see this every day… Don’t deprive yourself (and us) by hiding or withholding—shine your light and share your wisdom.
Feb 12 – Mercury conjunct North Node (Destiny). Your multidimensional vision is connecting with our Destiny in Pisces, sign of infinite potential and All That Is. Watch for fated connections, communications, insights, downloads or events that redirect your life in some way. Sometimes connections are made that you don’t know are significant (at the time), but it begins a path that unfolds and proves to be pivotal in your development and evolution, redirecting you in a significant way.
Be mindful and honor what comes into your sacred space. Pisces loves sacredness. Create fertile ground via an altar, a quiet corner, a meditation spot outside or find a spacious path you can walk. Focus on your dreams and vision.
Feb 13 – Saturn in Aries. This is a profound shift as the planet of structure and authority leaves Pisces for good to arrive in the sign of the warrior, maverick and pioneer. You are ready to start something and if you’re not, stay tuned, because something new is in the works. You’ll know when you get the impetus to do something new or go in another direction. I think this is going to help us tremendously with a huge shot of giddyup and motivation for the next few years.
More on this next week, but you’ll feel the shift before my next newsletter. A softer, flowy week in some ways, but the chaotic, disruptive forces are still at work. You choose where you place your attention. Know what you need to, but focus on your development and purpose.
We’ve moving toward the community phase, away from the dear leader paradigm, and we will all be needed and valued for sustainability in high-functioning communities. That’s what I mean. You are here on purpose, with gifts and contributions that are your puzzle pieces to offer the Greater Good. I love that. It’s true for all of us.
