Something is shifting. After the emotional reflection and review of the past few weeks, you are preparing to emerge with greater clarity, confidence and a renewed connection to your Self. The old stories are just that — old. It’s a fertile time in the cosmos and for you.
This is the final week of Cancer season and Mercury Retrograde. Mercury slows down to turn Direct the day after the Sun enters Leo. Make good use of these energies for any needed corrections or to get the care you need for your comfort and well being. This is the time for concentrated cleanup, reorganization and fixes that will serve you going forward.
We are in the Eclipse Wormhole that began on the New Moon in Cancer (July 14) and will continue until the New Moon in Virgo (Sept 10). It’s a short distance between different realities that allows for new shifts and possibilities in unexpected ways. Although this pertains to unpredictable Eclipse energy, it aligns beautifully with the current aspects that are creating a whole new playing field.
July 17-26 – The Cradle / Basket Pattern
This profound alignment of outer planets refers to a rare formation across one half of the zodiac that is a fertile activation for us and the planet. Mundane astrologer, André Barbault, who predicted major world events decades in advance, highlighted this specific alignment and called it a relaunch of civilization.
This is a harmonious network of sextiles and trines linking slow-moving outer planets, each at 4º of their signs: Pluto in Aquarius, Neptune in Aries and Uranus in Gemini. Together, they form a Minor Grand Trine, a supportive blueprint for collective evolution that will remain active for two years. It only becomes a Cradle when Jupiter opposes Pluto and harmonizes with Uranus and Neptune.
Jupiter in Leo acts as a dynamic trigger, either leading with heart – or ego, activating issues around power and transformation. Revolutionary Uranus and spiritual Neptune support the unfolding activity, which is hard to predict with so many possibilities. Uranus seeks liberation, authenticity and revolution, while multi-dimensional Neptune emanates Divine Love, compassion, empathy, imagination and selfless service.
There are a myriad of ways this cradle can play out in the world and in your life over the coming years, depending on your personal astrology, your beliefs, intentions and actions. We are literally in the midst of creating a new world and this energy supports a courageous fresh approach with innovation, creativity and your willingness to step up.
Stay awake and stay open. Shifting reference points will create a new playing field and your job is to participate. Trust your inner guidance and your convictions; they are your GPS.
July 19 – Mars sextile Saturn
Use this day for making decisions, planning, doing paperwork, determination and discipline, conversations to gather info and get moving, especially if you’ve been stuck. You can get organized, create movement and make progress.
July 22 – Sun in Leo
The radiant Sun is joyfully vibrant in its home sign, where it loves attention, appreciation and visibility, whether in its personal life, community or a public role. Leo is royalty, born to lead. Or at least, to be in charge. Leo is a performer, which is perfect if you’re an entertainer, professional presenter or prominent in some way.
‘Tis the season to let your light shine by boldly expressing yourself. It’s also a reminder to play, and if you’ve forgotten how, it’s time to recover your childhood delight.
The Sun in Leo illuminates creativity, confidence, courage and joy. Leo rules the inner fire that inspires and is inspired, that wants to contribute and be fully alive. In its higher expression, Leo radiates warmth, generosity and a huge heart. Boundless love and joy! Let your light shine in your own special way and express your Self.
July 23 – Mercury Direct in Cancer
Mercury will inch forward slowly until the end of July, then pick up steam in August. New info and insights will appear to inform your decisions and next steps as the days unfold. With Mercury in Cancer, you may receive new clarity around your needs, family, home and security — or a new sense of direction or greater satisfaction going forward. You may be ready to move beyond your comfort zone to instigate a new path, which is a big step for you.
All things are possible with the energetic movement that underlies us now, especially if you take care of yourself with Self-care and by honoring your needs. Foundational support is powerful.
This is a turning point, whether you experience it externally, via inner processing or both. The energies are shifting from reflection to expression, from the past into possibilities that are within and before you. Notice what is revealed and move forward with intention.
Don’t underestimate the revolution that’s happening within and around You.
