This week is a mix of energies that include the New Moon in Pisces and the Spring Equinox two days later. Two beginnings, two days apart, and with Mercury Stationing on the Equinox about to turn Direct. The Fire Horse may not jump out of the gate as quickly as you would like, as you need to wait for clarity and info to fill in missing blanks.
March 13 – North Node conjunct Mars. The N. Node calls you forward, inspiring actions that align with your Destiny and highest calling. You may stretch beyond your comfort zone (where you land or how you get there), which can trigger fear or overwhelm when you are in unfamiliar territory, but it doesn’t have to.
Slow down and allow yourself to acclimate to your new conditions. The goal is to be called by your spirit, heart and Inner Guidance, rather than being run by your egoic mind that needs all the info NOW. Remind yourself that you are new in this space and enjoy the exploration; you’re not supposed to know everything up front.
March 15 – Mercury Retrograde conjunct Mars. With Mercury in slow-mo, you may be dealing with something you activated on the Mars-N Node aspect two days ago or reconsidering ideas or moves that are already in play. Impulsive thoughts, words or actions can create problems that you then have to deal with. Slow down and attune within to feel your truth before speaking or acting (if possible).
March 17 – North Node conjunct Mercury. This is the second of three meetings (Feb 12, March 23) and you may be in the midst of a process in which you’re opening to a new vision, perspective or direction that is part of your evolution. You will revisit this pair the following week, with Mercury Direct, and you will likely receive info that offers even more insight and clarity if you are seeking guidance.
On the New Moon in Pisces, we have two other aspects on the same day, but activated earlier.
March 18 – Venus square Jupiter. Your desire for pleasure and generosity are amplified, that can be a problem if you go overboard (excess or imbalance). You may give, give, give to others or over-indulge in comfort, using things that feel good to quell your anxiety. Pisces is susceptible to escapism and more is not always better, so enjoy mindfully. On a higher level, you may purify and/or expand your heart to take a stand for love, family, care, or another heart-centered principle that serves the Greater Good.
Sun sextile Uranus. This vibrant energy creates a shakeup, excitement or a sudden change that liberates a part of you that’s been asleep, stuck or rigid. Uranus transcend limits by taking a risk, experimenting, innovating or activating buried aspects of the Self. This is the fast track to an alternate reality; it instigates changes in a flash. Express your genius, your uniqueness, or do something that thrills you! There are aspects of you waiting to come out and play…
March 18 – New Moon in Pisces @ 6:23pm PDT. The Eclipse Wormhole ends on this New Moon, inviting you to bring your new consciousness forward to your next steps and your future. Once more, it’s time to bless and release anything complete or outdated—old beliefs, priorities, behaviors and paths that are no longer relevant or helpful. Allow them to dissolve and wash away; you are shedding old identities to create space for the new.
Feel your heart’s desires as you dream your visions into existence, even when you don’t know you’re doing it. Every thought counts, every longing is registered. Your dreams have power. Allow space for relaxation, nature and peace as you connect with the higher realms to access Divine love. Contemplate your New Moon intentions, what you want to create and call into your life.
You are planting seeds that will manifest as you go forward. Don’t push, don’t stress, trust in perfect unfolding, as this is beyond the mind’s knowing or control. Neptune in Aries conjoins the New Moon and is holding space for All That Is in new territory with pioneering energy.
The Sun joins Neptune and Saturn in Aries on the March 20 Equinox, the Astrological New Year and the beginning of a new era. I’ll tell you more next week, but know that much of what is being embedded this week is invisible to us. Allow yourself to flow intuitively through the week, trusting your Inner Guidance, and when Mercury starts moving after the Equinox, it will be “go” time.
Follow your own rhythm, trust that you are being supported, be open to change and expect the best.
