I am going to start this blog with Ellias Lonsdale’s meditation for today’s New Moon, because it seems such a perfect jumping off point for understanding the power and importance of the lunar event and all the other planetary pictures and energies that go along with it this week and in the near future.
This passage is reprinted with the author’s permission from his book 360 Degrees of Your Star Destiny:
Taurus 8: A very complicated hedge maze.
“Finding the self in the thick of unresolvable dilemmas, irreversible divisions, confounding complexities and multiplicities on every hand. Seeming to be the victim or product of contexts and combinations that breed fragmentation with nowhere to go.
The test is to move gradually and slowly through this apparent external world conundrum to eventually come out in a different pattern altogether. Yet to get there is immensely demanding, more than flesh can take, for the semblance is foreground, pervasive, and convincing. It runs power plays, with everything seeming to conspire to prevent what lives within from coming through in this world effectively.
As this drama plays out, it pulls through so many subsidiary angles and confirmations of its unbearable nature. Anybody would commonsensically feel this to be a pre-determined fate of everything going wrong and nothing being simple and clear.
Right in the core, the radiant center of this disturbing dissonance, lies a place of peace, tranquility, and wholeness. This place inside sparks immense reserves, which are tapped in order to withstand the shock of the apparent ill winds blowing against the Self. As this bottomless reservoir of inner conviction is tapped and mobilized, the entire situation turns around.
We were putting our emphasis on the least vital and compelling and enduring factors. We were allowing the karmic drama to distract us from our basic task. We were giving a lot of power and credence to external structures and syndromes of every kind. We were letting conditioning hold sway.
The one in the deep center is slow and steady and gets just where we’re going. No attachments to form, to surrounding pride, to prestige. Uncovering a strength, a wisdom, a relevant truth which opens a door into another world altogether, where all that we intend is fulfilled consummately.”
The Taurus New Moon delivers us from the wormhole we’ve been traveling through for two months. It is the place within each of us that has never been accessed before. Yet it is every bit as much a part of us as anything we are familiar with.
Taurus is an earthy, grounded sign, which should feel welcoming after all those months in Pisces, floating in the ocean of universal consciousness. (Not that this was a bad experience, but it’s nice to put our feet on the ground again.
The thing is, courtesy of the Mars Pluto bridge that completed yesterday, and the Black Moon Lilith in Scorpio, traveling with Haumea, the wormhole has delivered us all to a powerful crossroad, made of roads that are designated to the Love flame of the heart. These signs were originally called FIXED signs. But there is nothing in the world that doesn’t change except Love. The Love signs are watching over and filling up the roads that are available to us, yet it may seem so unfamiliar as we land that we may mistake it for a bumpy road. The new Moon at 8 Taurus is in a bridge with the Black Moon, which is moving through the via combusta. But that is the mirror. The center of this moment, the one Ellias mentioned, is your heart.
The center of everything is Love and as long as you stay with your own center there is no way you will get lost or choose the wrong road. There is no wrong road in the higher dimension and surprise! We are already here. The moment we knew the bridge was there we traveled across it. The moment we see the crossroad we choose, from the heart, which road to take.
We have all known something amazing was just up ahead. We are here and though we have not felt as though we knew what was coming, now that we are here we know exactly what to do.
If you don’t feel comfortable, stop. Sit down, preferably in nature, and meditate. Breathe, put your consciousness on your heart and allow the Truth you access there to lead you.
There is no fear here in the higher dimension. If you feel like you are afraid, that is just a memory muscle. Let it go. There is nothing to fear here.
