Full Moon in Leo, February 1, 2026, 5:09pm EST

Venus and Mars are widely communing with the Sun (6 degrees on each side) and bridging the Moon.

There’s a lot happening in the Aquarian hour of Spiritual Love.  Venus and Mars are widely communing with the Sun (6 degrees on each side) and bridging the Moon.  All of the personal planets are there along with Pluto.  The asteroid Vesta and the 5D planets Astraea and Chariklo are also in Aquarius, bringing the much needed energies of justice (Astraea) and spiritual healing (Chariklo).

Aquarius in 5D astrology is known as the Great Awakener.  The themes here are unconditional self-love and oneness.  When we can love ourselves unconditionally then, and only then, can we radiate unconditional love outward.  When we recognize that we are all connected and a thread of oneness is woven throughout all of creation, we stop seeing “other” and see simply “one”.    In 3D astrology Aquarius is often described as “aloof” but in 5D that can be more aptly described as non-attachment.

The Moon in Leo is generous, warm, and bursting with creativity.    Leo is represented by the Sun… can you claim your light and power during this full Moon?  Can you step more fully into your authentic self- boldly, without apology?  If this is uncomfortable, return to the remembrance that the personal planets in Aquarius are helping to deliver you to a deeper sense of being authentically YOU.  This is what we are meant for at this time.

The world needs us now, more than ever, to be beacons of unconditional love.  And that starts first with loving ourselves.  The Moon in Leo says, “Shine your light unabashedly!”  We do this by choosing gratitude and by choosing joy.  It is not always easy to consciously choose these things in light of all this going on in the world today but if we choose to focus on the darkness, then our light dims.  Then we have fallen into “us vs them” and are no longer in the state of unconditional love.

Pluto in Aquarius is forming a resource with Neptune, now back in Aries, and Uranus is also forming a resource with Neptune.  This resources have been ongoing for a long while, but with Neptune back in Aries the tone is shifting.  Again, to assist humanity as Saturn and Neptune prepare for their new cycle, meditating on and being in a state of unconditional self-love and authentic self-expression is paramount.

We are all parts of the same whole, like it or not.  But before we can love all the outward parts that we dislike, we must first love all parts of ourselves.  Call all your energy back home.  Know that some parts of yourself that you may have disowned were created as a form of self-protection.  Can you love all of yourself, truly and completely?   Can you give gratitude for yourself?

Journaling Prompts for the Leo Full Moon:

Where am I still loving myself conditionally?   What would it feel like in my body to let that go and simply accept myself as I am?  How does it feel when I feel the love of God/The Divine?

Where am I dimming my light?  Where or how am I not being authentic?  Even in small ways, how do I mask or hide?

What parts of myself have I pushed away?

Where/when do I feel ashamed of myself?  Where does that live in my body?  (Send love and the light of the Divine to that area when you find it!)

What can I do, right now, to increase my daily moments of joy?  What can I focus on that fills me with joy and light?

What parts of myself and I grateful for?  What am I grateful for in my life in general?  (A note about gratitude journaling- it may feel cliché, but it works!  Gratitude is a high-vibration energy, associated with unconditional love, joy, and inner peace. )
