New Moon 04 Sagittarius 02

10:04 am EST

I am sorry for the delay with this New Moon report and am grateful for your patience. The transition from the Taurus Full Moon to the Sagittarius New Moon was a particularly time-consuming pivot for me. This report describes what happened at the New Moon and how this will carry us through to the next Full Moon, in Gemini, on December 12.
The Full Moon in Taurus showed us how the mechanism of our inner process of creation works. It starts with a seemingly formless idea that once we pay attention to, starts to germinate and then develop. It can be something that frees us, that makes life easier for ourselves or others, or idea we become entranced with and then get stuck on. The passage to the Sagittarius New Moon showed us where we were attached to an idea that seemed to have ‘fixed a problem,” or “found a solution.”

This was an important exercise because Sagittarius takes us front and center to facing Truth in all its manifestations. This can be a challenge, because we all have a tendency, no matter what we think and say, to revert in times of crisis to holding onto the idea that there is only one Truth. This is accurate, of course, from a certain viewpoint. But what we can miss when all seems awry, is that the Truth manifests continuously in infinite forms all the time. This relates to what we think we understand as being “the situation,” and our “understanding of it,” is the only Truth. It is in the moment, because this is what we are experiencing. We have to hold onto an idea to live in 3D, after all.
But if we can, it is equally important to aspire to allowing for innumerable variations on a theme to also be occurring at the same time. This is the idea of the multiple concurrent parallel realities. Sagittarius is all about relentlessly pushing us to aim for this awareness of Truth in all its forms. To do so, we must work with karma., e.g. living our lives on Earth. We cannot take a breath without creating karma—this is what the circle of life is all about, after all.

The Sagittarius New Moon takes us to how we really feel about this experience. This part of our Consciousness reminds us that the pursuit of Truth requires continuously working with what we have at the moment, with the willingness to shed it when new awareness comes through. This New Moon opened a wormhole, which allows for major and unexpected expansion, movement, and change. Wormholes are a gift, and the important thing is know that the best thing we can do is focus on aiming high, no matter what. Michelle Obama said it best in 2016 with her statement “when they go low, we go high.”
The New Moon formed was by a conjunction with the Sun. Disposed by Jupiter, which is at 29 Sagittarius—the Master degree—this New Moon sets up the test that all master degrees provide: how much expansion can we handle, on a personal level and socially. How much can we relax into the moment and be with whatever is happening at the moment and maintain an observer’s awareness? Whether in our families, communities, countries, or globally, how much difference of opinion are we willing to accept as part of the human experience and yet also strive for making things better? Jupiter is the largest known planet in our solar system, and is thought to protect earth and the inner planets (Mars, Earth, Venus, and Mercury) from asteroids and comets (see https://www.missionjuno.swri.edu/origin?show=hs_origin_story_jupiters-influence).
It pays to take a meditate on Jupiter, as a physical planet and as an archetype that we each embody in our Consciousness. Everything with Jupiter involves expansion—no matter what-and it is always for our ultimate good and benefit. Jupiter is conjunct Ixion at 28 Sagittarius, representing our Soul’s highest purpose. This is, of course ,the experience of Oneness while living in an environment of duality – our current 3D experience of living on Earth.

During the New Moon event Pallas Athena was at 8 Sagittarius. We can expect a more positive public view of female wisdom, represented by empowered women standing up to bullying in all forms. Moving forward, this signals a fundamental expansion in normalizing women as equal to men as leaders at all levels, not just in the highest public positions. Women leaders will not seem extraordinary anymore because they are women.
Venus (how we love) at 1 Capricorn, Quaoar (where we find new paradigms) at 2 Capricorn, Ceres (how we midwife), at 4 Capricorn, and the Earth Star (how we address our karma) at 9 Capricorn were in intimacy (semi-sextile) with the New Moon, and set into motion a new way of thinking about how we care for what we love, and what that means in our lives.
During the New Moon there were two sets of grand manifestations (grand trines), creating a Star of David pattern, which allows for an easy free flow of energy combined with adeptness. The first involved the New Moon, in manifestation with Chiron (where we whole ourselves) and Salacia (where we play with light and shadow) respectively at 2 and 3 Aries with Varuna (where we find highest vision) and Astraea (where we discover feminine purity) at 4 and 5 Leo. This manifestation allows for finding emotional balance with our experience of “doing” and “being.” The second manifestation was formed of Mercury (how we communicate) at 14 Scorpio with the Fixed Star Sirius (access to the wisdom of the masters) at 14 Cancer and Neptune (where we find inspiration) at 16 Pisces). We are able to draw from the greatest wisdom in our communications and inspire those around us.

The New Moon was also in stepping stone (square) to Neptune, providing the conditions for emotional inspiration. Orcus (where we discover immortality) at 12 Virgo stimulates our longing for all that is enduring; with the Fixed Star Regulus stimulating our consciousness toward all we consider as noble. Stepping stones are energy that can be used for motivation and forward movement, and are particularly useful during New Moon passages, where opportunities for new beginnings abound.

Forming the broad environment for this New Moon passage, is, of course, the ongoing Power Grand Crossroads formed by the Soul Star (Moon’s North Node, where we work with our dharma) at 9 Cancer and the Earth Star at 9 Capricorn. Creating the Crossroad is Juno (where we discover Unity Consciousness) and MakeMake (where we experience universal laws) at 8 and 7 Libra, respectively bridging with the Black Moon Lilith (where we uncover what is hidden) at 13 Aries. As we move toward the next Full Moon, this crossroad through the can be used as a tool to center ourselves, reminding us that we can travel down all paths at once. As Stephanie Azaria has been saying, the next few months are full of unprecedented change. Knowing that there is a center still point for all of us, always available is the key, as a Grand Crossroads continually reminds us.
