Full Moon Pisces

01:22 am EDT

The passage from the Leo New Moon period of Self-reflection took us to the realm of unlimited possibilities. During this time we stretched our imaginations to something bigger, nobler, and more generous than the individual ego, and gained awareness of the Self and its connection to the Universal SOURCE. The Leo quality of our consciousness contains nobility and courage as well as the wonder and innocence of a child.

The Full Moon is at 10 Pisces, disposed by Neptune (where we enlighten ourSelves) at 20 Pisces. This is a very dignified, appropriate, and timely Full Moon, shedding light on things that may have appeared hidden but have been in plain sight all along. The corollary, if we chose not to look clearly, is more confusion and uneasiness about the past, present, and future. Above all else, our Pisces quality of consciousness asks us to seek what is real, presenting to us time and again the endless horizon for us to place our gaze, sink into quietude, and wait for answers to be revealed.

Pisces is where we experience the realm of unlimited possibility. For centuries, humans have sought enlightenment and a shedding of emotional burdens. Once we have the experience of seeing the Truth, we can never forget it. The realization of Oneness, connection to God, or Source, of salvation, grace, and expiation are never forgotten, even if the experience is seemingly fleeting.
Many of us have spent our lives searching for repeat experiences of bliss, only to realize that life on Earth involves both joy and sorrow and that nothing on Earth is ever permanent. We are spiritual beings having a physical experience, and the most empowering experience we can have is to embrace it all: the positive, the neutral, and the negative. All are necessary for life. Can we imagine a more beautiful planet on which to have these experiences? We do not know, yet, whether there is another planet as beautiful as Earth. While we are here, let us enjoy all the endless possibilities she has to offer.

The Full Moon is conjunct Ceres (where we midwife the new) at 5 Pisces, which points to the birthing process of a New World that is occurring right before our eyes. Who among us could have predicted on January 1, 2020, where we would be—all of us in every country – at this time? No one had any idea of what is happening now, with a ubiquitous pandemic and total confusion among governments on how to address the short, medium, and long-term impacts of the novel coronavirus.
What is required is a revisioning of communities and how we treat each other, at every level. The archetype of Ceres reminds us that we are totally capable of bringing a new way of living on Earth in the most nurturing of manners. But birth is not for the fainthearted, and all of us living (and those who have passed before us) have all gone through the birthing process, survived and thrived, or we would not be here. Pisces is also where we experience faith and the crisis of the dark night of the soul. Will we survive or thrive? Will we continue as we are or find unity and a common goal to improve life for all beings on Earth?
The Full Moon is in intimacy (semi-sextile) with Chiron (where we whole ourSelves) at 8 Aries travelling with Salacia at 6 Aries (where we play with light and shadow). This is where the divine spark of inspiration and of hope emerges as we consider an uncertain present and uncharted future. We are whole, to begin with, always. It is our life experiences, taking us through challenging events, that tend to make us believe we are not whole. But when we dive deep into pain after a tragedy we find that what appears to be broken only lets the light in further.

The Moon is in resource (sextile) with Uranus (where we awaken) at 11 Taurus. Lightning striking the ocean electrifies the water. A jolt of electricity can restart a heart in a person that is presumed dead. Sometimes it takes a shock to break us out of an emotional pattern that has outlived its usefulness. We humans can handle these shocks because we are as connected to the elements as we are to anything else here on Earth. The archetype of Uranus in Taurus calls us to find the essential grounding within ourselves so that we remember and then act with reverence toward all beings.

The Moon is in a manifestation (trine) with the Fixed Star Sirius (where we learn to find the wisdom of the Masters within ourselves) at 14 Cancer. There is a free flow of emotional energy supporting our own discovery that we have, all of us on Earth, which is equal to the wisdom of the ancient ones. This is why myths—no matter from what culture they emanate- so powerfully affect us all.
The Moon is in a Light Bridge (opposition) with the Sun (our Self-identity) at 10 Virgo and Orcus (where we encounter what is immortal) at 12 Virgo. We are supported in any effort we make to remember that we are born whole, and despite whatever aches and pains we experience physically, are always whole. There is joy in this, and we can find it, even if we are experiencing severe physical discomfort.

Providing the backdrop to the Full Moon is a very potent Light Bridge that will affect all of us on a universal level. This bridge is formed by Chiron and Salacia in polarity with MakeMake (where we find universal laws) at 6 Libra, conjunct the planetoid Astraea (where the Divine Feminine is fully integrated) at 6 Libra. Our recognition of our wholeness and capacity for play is looking straight at the universality of LOVE. All we have to do is put our consciousness on this bridge and watch our emotions flow like water under the bridge. Where there is shadow and light, there is the opportunity to heal and realize our essential and eternal wholeness.

Finally, there is a super potent Grand Power Crossroad (grand cardinal cross) that is sure to get all our attention. The image below may seem a bit startling, and we are asked to face, head-on, our most elemental and base natures and make a decision. The beauty of a crossroads is that if we put our consciousness in the middle, we can travel down all roads at once. This means that we can, and should, explore all the possibilities that the Pisces Full Moon is going to illuminate for us.
The Crossroad is formed first by Mars (how we move) at 28 Aries travelling with the Black Moon Lilith in an exact conjunction with Eris (our inner disruption mechanism), both at 24 Aries. This breathtaking combination, which is sure to bring forth anything we have been hiding from, is bridging with the asteroid Juno (where we experience Oneness) at 24 Libra travelling with the Fixed Star Arcturus (scientific innovation) at 25 Libra and Haumea (where we experience the source of creation) at 26 Libra. This is nothing less than a communal wake-up call. We will not miss it.

Crossing is the Light Bridge formed by Venus (how we love) at 26 Cancer bridging Saturn (where we find inner authority) at 26 Capricorn, travelling with Chariklo (where we stabilize) at 25 and Pluto (where we transform) at 23 Capricorn. The question of how we nurture ourselves and what we accept as true authority is not going anywhere until we make peace with the reality that what we experience internally is reflected externally in our daily lives. This can be seen as a sweet and bitter pill at the same time. And this is perfectly ok.
When we stop running from pain and accept it as essential to the human experience as joy, then we experience compassion for others. It is from this point that a new world can be created. Fear is an easy default position but takes so much energy to maintain. It is far simpler to relax and accept each other, warts and all.
Look out of my window
See the world passing by
See the look in her eye
One more time to live and I have made it mine
Leave the wise to write for they write worldly rhymes
And he who wants to fight begins the end of time…
For I have riches more than these
For I have riches more than these
Desolation
Creation
Tell me someone why there’s only confusion
Evolution
Tell me someone that this is all an illusion
Pollution
Tell me someone
Saturation
Tell me someone
Population
Annihilation
Revolution
Tell me someone why this talk of revolution
Confusion
Tell me someone when we’re changing evolution
Illusion
Tell me someone
Conclusion
Tell me someone
Starvation
Degradation
Humiliation
Contemplation
Changes in my life
Inspiration
Elation
Changes in my life
Salvation
Changes in my life
Communication
Compassion
Solution
Look out on the hedgerow
As the world rushes by
Hear the birds sign a sigh
One more tree will fall how strong the growing vine
Turn the earth to sand and still permit no crime
How one thought will live provide the others die
For I have riches more than these
For I have riches more than these
