Full Moon 15 Sagittarius 33 LUNAR ECLIPSE, SIDEWAYS ELEVATOR

Fire all the rockets. This is the message of the passage between the Gemini New Moon and this astonishingly potent Sagittarius full Moon/lunar eclipse, which is taking us on a sideways elevator journey. Remember that the Gemini portion of our consciousness is where we “walk the talk,” and recognize our role in experiencing duality here on Earth while seeking Unity Consciousness. Gemini and Sagittarius are in polarity with each other. One part of our consciousness is working with duality (Gemini) and the other is clearing karma (Sagittarius). The action we can take is to deliberately imagine ourselves in the middle of this polarity—being able to see both—or many sides at once (Gemini) and being able to face the difficult and expand into something new and wiser (Sagittarius).
Be not afraid, this is a dynamic time supported with all the forces of the Universe as they apply to our beloved planet Earth, and our cherished view of ourselves—as beings that separated ourselves from Unity consciousness so we could journey back to Oneness and assist the Earth with her evolution. Circumstances are extraordinary at this time, and they are difficult. However, the tide is turning. We cannot let up on our energetic work and our work with real people on tangible and current issues. This is the time to roll up our sleeves and do the deep work, with Trust in Trust and Faith in Faith without any idea about the outcome.

The full Moon in Sagittarius is disposed by Jupiter (where we expand), and it is a lunar eclipse. This is a sideways elevator, and we must open ourselves emotionally to all the benevolence of Jupiter — the social justice part of our collective consciousness, and the expansive part. In 3D—an unrecognized and unrealized Sagittarius can go to prejudice. In 5D this is all about Unity Consciousness and progressive, positive, expansion of the human experience. Sagittarius is a wisdom sign in Cosmic Consciousness astrology, and any wisdom sign is how the vehicle for which we make meaningful change in our lives.

It may seem like we change at a snail’s pace, and maybe we do…but that is ok, because change is inevitable and is happening, as surely as the night gives way to dawn, and the day gives way to the night. An eclipse is a sideways elevator, which transports us to places we cannot imagine. But we can set our intentions. A couple of things to consider:
  • This is big–bigger than we can comprehend right now. It will be into next year when we see the significance of this full Moon/eclipse.
  • We all have karma to clear. It is simultaneously communal, familial, and very personal and individual. We may not know what that karma is, but the important thing is to know there is a multi-dimensional generational stain that is being identified and recognized. This is step one in any recovery program.
  • No one can predict the outcome.
Jupiter is at 27 Capricorn, nearing the master degree of 29. There is real mastery involved with this full Moon. Are we ready? Yes, because it is happening. We can do this. End the demonization of the Other on all sides. There are many pioneers that have shown us the way forward.

The full Moon is travelling with the Earth Star (South Node of the Moon, where we encounter our karma) at 29 Sagittarius. The Earth Star at the master degree, and this is the opportunity to clear karma. At least to recognize that karma is there, as none of us really knows how to clear karma. We have techniques, but in my experience, karmic clearing is a combination of earnest prayer and grace, combined with the kind of effort we mean when we refer to as elbow grease.
Along with the Earth Star, Ixion, our soul’s true purpose is also at 29 Sagittarius. Whatever we discover in our souls and socially is what we need to grapple with on the highest level. We can do it, and we are inherently equipped to do it. Not only does the Sagittarian quality of consciousness help us clear karma, but it does so in an elevated philosophical format. And it also cannot be Sagittarius without bringing in the element of fun. This helps dispel fear, and it is fear that stops us from delving deep.
The full Moon is in intimacy (semi-sextile) with the Capricorn stellium including most relevantly (as they are about 10 degrees from the full Moon), Quaoar (where we encounter new ways of thinking) at 4; Pluto (where we transform) at 25. There is an energetic connection with the rest and with fellow travelers Chariklo (where we stabilize) at 29 and Pallas Athena (where we tap into intuitive wisdom) at 29 Capricorn. Capricorn is the part of our consciousness where we connect with Source, and we also build foundations for our personal and social lives. We have the opportunity to be inspired by a new framework for our thoughts, transform the old with wisdom, and recognize that this transformation is stable and lasting. It is not a flash in the pan, and this is a hugely important perspective to hold. We are not going back (despite what the news may report), we are going forward.

The full Moon is in manifestation (trine) with Chiron (where we whole ourselves) at 9 Aries, and with Salacia (where we play with light and shadow) at 6 Aries. This is a free flow of energy that is accessible to us—Chiron opens the wound so it can be healed, and Salacia reminds us that all healing is complex—it requires action on several dimensions at the same time. It is important to remember that manifestation energy is positive when directed toward the higher good.

The full Moon is forming a stepping stone (square) with Mars (how we move our energy) at 15 Pisces; Ceres (where we birth the new) at 10 Pisces and Neptune (where we enlighten ourselves) at 21 Pisces. Get ready — birth is active, messy, and one does not really know what will happen. No one in a birthing room is having a good time until the child is born and pronounced alive. Until then, all sorts of things are said and done, that we forget… otherwise, no woman would choose to give birth again. The Moon is in a stepping stone with Orcus (where we encounter the immortal in ourselves) at 10 Virgo. This later stepping stone may feel a bit like sandpaper. We have to remember who we are; and this means engaging with others and remind ourselves, together, of who we are. We are spiritual beings in a human incarnation, learning how to transcend the limiting aspects of duality, and returning LOVE (Unity Consciousness).

To form a full Moon, there is polarity with the Sun (where we define our identity), which is at 15 Gemini, travelling with Venus (how we love) at 12 Gemini. There is definitely an opportunity to reboot our hearts to handle multiple points of view and hold them as all legitimate. This is really important, because we know that each human being is complex—we have primary, secondary, tertiary, and so on identities that become relevant at any point in time. Triggers to these identities are crucial to notice and also what causes us to recoil in fear. We have to accept both the shadow and light to be free.

Finally, forming the backdrop for the full Moon is the development of another Grand Power Crossroad (cardinal grand cross). This one involves the polarity between Mercury (how we communicate) at 9 Cancer bridging with Quaoar at 4 Capricorn; crossing with the bridge between MakeMake (where we discover universal laws) at 5 Libra and Juno (where we find Unity Consciousness) at 6 Libra with Salacia and Chiron. It is crucial that we communicate clearly, knowing that our words will affect the structure of the New Order that is forming before our eyes. We do not know its shape, but as mentioned earlier, if our intention is LOVE, then there will be fulfillment, wholling for all, as per context and detail. Salacia makes sure this is not a “one size fits all” solution, which has gotten us into trouble so many times before. Yet, in our Spirit and higher Self, as the unlimited and uniquely diverse expressions of the Divine, we are each special and the same. We are literally remaking the world as we take each breath.

Good to remind our Selves of the following song, “You’ve got to be carefully taught,” from the landmark musical, South Pacific first performed in 1958. It reminds us of our birth in Love, and that all prejudice is learned. Think on it, consider it in your heart, set your intentions, and take the actions your heart calls you too. The time is now.
