This full Moon in Pisces occurs alongside a partial Lunar Eclipse, allowing for a clearing of emotional residue alongside flashes of insight that can move you in unexpected new directions.
The Moon is conjunct the fixed star Fomalhaut. Fomalhaut is one of the four Royal Stars who guards the heavens and is associated with Archangel Gabriel. Fomalhaut is said to strengthen our spiritual gifts and open up our intuition; it can also facilitate transformation, especially in the face of letting go of something that was lost or that we released willingly.
Stephanie refers to a lunar eclipse as a “reboot of emotions”, and here is a potent opportunity to release (purge, even) old emotional residue and make space for transformation. The sideways elevators that eclipses offer are taken more easily and joyfully when we go willingly- when we offer up that which no longer is needed or serves to the energy of transmutation and growth.
A simple invocation declaring the release of that which no longer serves highest good could open up an energetic doorway of clearing and making way for more light and more love.
In addition to Fomalhaut’s influence, Neptune and Pluto are forming a boomerang yod with the Sun and Mercury (this is a Finger of God with a planet between the two “fingers”, in this case the Moon/Fomalhaut are between Neptune and Pluto). In this formation the Moon and Fomalhaut are the release valve for the tension caused between Neptune and Pluto. In short, our emotions are the release valve during this lunation. This means giving our inner self plenty of time to simply feel, and to express what we feel. It’s not the time to get cerebral and get attached to our stories- it is time TO FEEL. The Sun and Mercury may ask us to express those feelings through communication. Write it down. Talk to a friend. Read up on non-violent communication so you can practice expressing your feelings constructively. But don’t dam the flow.
Eclipses offer unexpected twists and turns so of course it makes sense that Uranus is forming an intersection with the Moon/Fomalhaut and the Sun/Mercury. Stay open and allowing so that you can receive any flashes of insight that Uranus is offering. This is a gift of a new perspective, or “aha!” moment that allows you to see everything in a different light. But Uranus isn’t in resource or manifesting- this is an intersection. Don’t be surprised if you feel called to veer off in a new, unexpected direction. Again, “sideway elevators”! Uranus is literally to the left of the Moon and Sun in the full Moon chart.
The other planetary players in this lunation are Chiron and Ixion (in resource with the Moon and manifesting with the Sun/Mercury), and Ceres and Haumea (manifesting with the Moon/Fomalhaut and in resource with Sun/Mercury). This is the 5D energy that offers the opportunity to connect more deeply with higher consciousness and, in the case of Chiron, wholing (not healing- wholing is accepting all your parts with love and calling it all home to you).
Remember how Fomalhaut strengthens spiritual gifts and opens intuition? Call on Fomalhaut to connect you more deeply with your intuitive Knowing of what is your next best step. Ask to connect to the higher parts of you that already Know how to love yourself unconditionally. Ask for your intuition to guide you to easily and gently release that which is blocking new levels of light and love into your life.
Eclipse windows are times when want to practice radical allowing- whatever shows up at this time, view it from a place of acceptance. “This is what has shown up at this time. What is this experience showing me? My Soul is guiding me- what is my Soul asking of me through this experience?” This way of viewing life allows us stay out of resistance and struggle, and opens us up to perceiving through the lens of our true nature, which is the Conscious Creator.
