Full Moon in Virgo/Total Lunar Eclipse

The Full Moon in Virgo occurs at 13 degrees Virgo and comes with a total Lunar Eclipse.  This “blood moon” event is disposed by Chiron and presents the opportunity to unify ourselves. Chiron’s “wounded healer” energy isn’t about carrying the wounds like a badge of honor, but instead integrating and being in a state of wholeness, wounds and all.  Virgo is the sign of the “Divine Mother”, where we can unify all parts of ourselves and birth our most authentic, Divine selves.

Stephanie describes Lunar Eclipses as reboots of our emotions.  That may occur as a clearing or purging, which is nothing to fear.  Consider how cleansing it can feel to have a good cry.  Purging doesn’t always feel good in the moment, but it feels great after to have cleared out all that no longer serves us.  This makes way for a new, more aligned way of being.  During this lunar eclipse we can emerge clean and clear of old energies that we’ve allowed to get stuck in our bodies (mental, emotional and physical) and step more into that wholeness that we are here to experience and embody.

The Karmic Node is the node triggering the eclipse, so outworn patterns in your personal Virgo hour (refer to your chart) may need to be released to make way for an upleveling.  Release perfectionism to make room for grace.   As our inner worlds are eclipsed for a brief period of time, what emerges in terms of how we can operate more consciously and authentically?

The Sun and the Moon are each forming 5D boomerang yods(these are Finger of God formations with a celestial body in between the two sextiles).  The first has Jupiter and Make Makeforming the Finger of God, pointing to the Sun and Pallas Athena, with the Moon being the boomerang (this is the “release” of the tension of the Finger of God).  This means our inner world is the vehicle for soothing any tension coming from this transit.  Make Make is the 5D consciousness of Saturn, and along with Jupiter, we are being asked if who we are is really in alignment with our true selves.  Are we being driven by the ego, or are we moving in alignment with our soul?  What we focus on expands (Jupiter), so we can use this time to consciously create our lives to be soul-aligned instead of ego-driven.  The Moon asks us to feel our way into the right actions at this time.

The Moon is also the focal point of another boomerang yod, this time with Astraea and Salacia pointing to the Moon, with the Sun and Pallas Athena being the release valve.  Astraea represents justice and fairness, while Salacia’s energy revolves around higher love and sensitivity.  We may be feeling strong desires to align with what is “right” and true, and we can do that- we are not powerless.  By living a life that is balanced, fair, and true, while letting the laws of higher love rule, we bring that energy into the physical world.  We do not spread love and justice through anger and separation.  We spread love and justice by BEING love, by BEING balanced and fair.  We must embody the energy we want reflected in our physical world.

With the Sun and all of the personal planets in Pisces (Venus enters Aries on March 6th), we still are swimming in the limitless realm of emotions.  There is a lot of fiery, Aries energy to come as Mercury and Mars enter Aries in April and cross over 0 Aries and reactive the energy of the Saturn/Neptune new cycle. For now, honor your emotions.  Water flows, and emotions are meant to as well.  Release what is stagnant and holds you back so that you may flow freely with whatever arises.

Our consciousness and our love is what we take with us when we pass on from this physical realm.  By willingly releasing what no longer serves we make room to expand our consciousness and we increase our capacity to hold energy.

Journaling Prompts for the Virgo Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse:

What parts of me need to be re-parented?  (Reparenting is mothering the parts of you that were dismissed, ignored, abused, or otherwise left alone that need love and attention.  Connect with your inner Divine Mother to soothe and love yourself.)

Where am I still living from ego?  Where am I aligned with Soul?  Where am I called to make a change?

What is going really well for me right now?  (Let your inner Divine Mother celebrate with you.)

Where am I holding myself to unrealistic standards?  What parts of me feel that they need to be “better” or “perfect” in order to be loved?

What does it feel like when I embody unconditional love?  When I connect to oneness?  Practice feeling that throughout your body.  Expand into it.
