THE 2026 CANCER FULL SUPERMOON – 1 3 26 – 5:04AM EST – 13 CANCER 02

This first Full Moon of 2026 is so powerful- 2026 is starting with a magical bang!
The Moon is conjunct the fixed star Sirius (so plenty of cosmic consciousness is available to us through
your inner state) and the Sun is smack in the middle of Venus and Mars, by one degree one either side.
This is an opportunity to balance the feminine and masculine energies that we all carry within us, and to
balance the outward expression of both masculine and feminine. In fact, this balance will help facilitate
those cosmic downloads from the Moon and Sirius.

The 5D planets Make Make (13 Libra) and Salacia (10 Aries) are creating a grand crossroads with the
Moon and Sun. Make Make is the higher octave of Saturn, and this crossroads may be asking us if we
are devoting our resources to that which serves the highest good of ourselves, our planet, and each
other, or if we are using our resources to serve our ego.

Salacia is Neptune’s wife, and she represents divine feminine consciousness, higher love, sensitivity, and
many other watery themes. This is a great time to connect our heart energy to our actions.
So from three different angles we have higher consciousness speaking to our most personal parts- our
personality, our heart, and our physicality. If you are wondering where our minds are in all of this (that
would be Mercury), he is 11 degrees away at 2 Capricorn. Sometimes it’s better if the mind doesn’t get
involved. Let your Higher Self inform your heart and body without your mind getting in the way with all
that thinking we are always doing! Mercury will join the party around the time of the January New
Moon, giving us two weeks to fully ground down this higher wisdom.

On January 6 th the Sun and Venus start a new cycle while the Venus/Mars new cycle occurs the following
day, on January 7 th . The Sun will be right there the entire time, so you have time to integrate all that
shows up during this full Moon. There is no rush, no need to get it “right” on January 3 rd ; the only
requirement is only a willingness to receive from our Higher Selves, and the presence to witness our
emotions without resistance or attachment.

If you are feeling impatient to get the New Year started with a bang and to get moving on all your
projects, remember that inner alignment is a critical first step. So taking the time during this Full Moon
to get aligned with the will of the Divine will serve far more than pushing ahead with what your mind
says to do. As any full Moon is a completion of a lunar cycle, this is a good time to clear away clutter- be
it emotional, mental or physical.

With Saturn and Neptune both in direct motion again, we are likely feeling motivated to start moving
ahead again with those ideas, themes and projects that first surface last summer. This energy isn’t going
anywhere so again, take the time now to align your inner world. Let your emotions purge (this is a
Cancer Moon, after all) and clear away stuck energy. Let go of that which doesn’t serve to make room
for the big changes coming soon when Saturn and Neptune re-Aries and come together in mid-February
for a major new beginning.

Journaling Prompts for the Full Moon in Cancer:
What wisdom is coming through me via my emotions?
Where have I been doing without enough receiving? Or receiving without allowing myself to act?
What would it look like to let my heart lead my actions rather than my urgency?
What am I currently giving my time, energy, or attention to, and does it genuinely serve my highest
good?

How does it feel in my body when I take aligned action?
What am I ready to release to make space for what’s coming next?

Happy New Year!
