We have another major energetic shift. Normally at this time of year it’s go, go, go – socializing, holiday parties, shopping and travel plans are on the menu – and they still may be. But Mercury Retrograde through Dec 15 in Sagittarius is asking you to slow down, inviting you to re-examine your beliefs, ideals and truth. 

Mars stops today to turn Retrograde tomorrow and slow the action down further. This is not your typical holiday season…

Dec 6 – Mars Stations Retrograde today, then slowly moves backward in Leo for a month until it enters Cancer on Jan 6, and finally turns Direct again on Feb 24, 2025. 

During Mars Retrograde the drive and will of Mars is turned inward, where it illuminates your motivations and methods of operating, so you can see if your “whys” and actions align with your higher truth and ideals.

Reconsider what you’re putting energy into and if your goals are aligned with what really matters to you or if you are you driven by conditioned ego expressions (public recognition, attention, looking good). This is an opportunity to develop awareness and mastery over your lifeforce and drive, and to realign your actions.

Mars is how you get what you want – how you take action (direct – or not), and what happens when you don’t / can’t get what you want. Therefore, anger and frustration are part of this equation, and in Retrograde, when goals, processes and plans can be disrupted, think of your historic response. How do you deal with disappointment or obstacles? 

Maybe you don’t go for your dreams for fear of failure. Everyone is different and this period is an opportunity to explore and upgrade your template around beliefs and actions in pursuit of your heart’s desires, as well as deliberate strategies to get there. 

This is not the time to make big plans for moving forward in 2025, as there are too many moving parts with missing info at this point. With Mercury and Mars Retro, this is an ideal time for clearing, contemplation, taking inventory of what’s working and what needs attention, then getting the support you need now – or exploring for when you’re ready. 

Dec 7 – This is a busy astro day with multiple events, listed in order of appearance. There is so much going on, you may want to moderate your activities and company accordingly. And remember, Mars begins its Retrograde journey today, so it’s still barely moving. Don’t be surprised if things are slow or delayed.

Venus in Aquarius. Venus is friendly and likes to socialize in this authentic air sign that is community-minded and seeks their tribe, who have similar interests, ideals, passions, often for the Greater Good or innovative projects and paths. 

Venus in Aquarius is independent and likes to share ideas with those on the same wavelength, sometimes turning friends into lovers and lovers into friends. Also this can express as avant-garde art, aesthetics, quirky style choices and $$ (bitcoin, etc). 

Venus conjunct Pluto. This is the first time Venus is w/ Pluto in Aquarius, a deep connection in a mental sign  sharing innovative, experimental ideas or unconventional relationships, tech-based, sci-fi bonds or humanitarian-oriented connections are all possible. I can feel the possibilities of various types linking up with simpatico ideas in unorthodox relationships. 

Sun opposite Jupiter. This is a buoyant, upbeat energy of optimism and possibilities. This can lead you to overindulge because you feel so good and Jupiter wants more of (fill in the blank)!  You can easily over-promise, as you want to say yes to invitations and commit to helping or joining a project. Watch it. Don’t make promises today that you may regret tomorrow! Enjoy, but stay cool (free) for now… 

Neptune Stations Direct. It’s technically moving forward, but it’s been at 27º Pisces since mid-Oct ’24 where it stays until Feb ’25 before inching forward to finally reach 0º Aries in April ’25. The turning point for Neptune (Ruler of Pisces), highlights all experiential activities and you may feel a little drained or low energy – or your imagination may be activated. Neptune calls your energy within, so spiritual practices, dreams, nature, and relaxation are soothing for you. It will continue to be flowing in the background as always, unwinding old structures that no longer serve you / us and beaming Divine Love to those who are open to it. 

Dec 10 – Sun trine Chiron. Chiron is at 19º Aries – the degree of the Solar Eclipse in April ’24, so you may have an opportunity for healing or awakening around anything that came up for you at the Eclipse, and if not, you still have a possibility for healing an aspect related to personal empowerment, authentic expression and courage. A Chiron in Aries healing serves any Mars issues you may have, so make good use of the available energy and be open to new insights and wisdom that may come through for you. 

Dec 12 – Venus opposite Mars. This can create sparks of passion and creativity, but it can also create frustration and conflict, as Mars is Retro, and with these two, what starts out playful or stimulating can turn into irritation in a hard aspect, but it’s not heavy damage. Just know, Mars is fragile, so easy does it if things get heated and give it space. Venus will be welcomed energy to lighten up Mars’ stagnant pace, so enjoy the lively goodness and be mindful and compassionate b/c Mars is touchy right now.

Mercury sextile Venus. This is a beautiful for creative activities, harmonious communications and soothing conversations and all connections, verbal and non-verbal. A warm, easy flow for networking, diplomacy and collaborating with others. Enjoy and socialize or reach out to make the most of this fertile, open energy! 

We will be approaching the Full Moon in Gemini on Dec 15 and Mercury’s Station Direct. As we get close to a Full Moon, the emotional energy heightens until the Moon is Full, so later in the week be mindful to be extra spacious and gracious with your Self and others. 

We are in a slowdown to review and course correct anything within you that’s calling for attention. Please don’t be discouraged if you find mistakes, flaws or issues that you need to handle. This is the perfect time for healing, with lots of support available. I can’t get over how much help is available online for free, as well as teachers, mentors and guides are here for sessions and trainings if you’re looking. 

Get the help! Let others in to mirror, love and support you so you don’t have to do everything yourself. Not to mention, your healing is your research and development for your path going forward (and you don’t have to know where you’re going). Just follow the yellow brick road… ✨

We begin the month of Dec with a New Moon in expansive Sagittarius on Nov 30 @ 10:21pm PST, asking you to stretch beyond your usual boundaries, while HYPERLINK “http://www.soullevelsolutions.com/free-mercrx-report-signup/”Mercury Retrograde in Sagittarius continues to mess with info, data, schedules, travel and all kinds of communications. The New Moon is a time for new beginnings, but Jupiter (Ruler of Sagittarius), is currently Retrograde, asking you to go within and reexamine your beliefs, convictions, integrity and truth as you also consider your greater purpose going forward. It’s a lot to contemplate and it’s your soul’s GPS. Why are you here; what gives your life meaning?

Jupiter opposes Mercury and both are Retrograde and they ask you to awaken from your habitual ways of thinking, speaking and viewing life – inviting you to move from autopilot (unconscious) to intentional choices that align with your ideals. With conflicting viewpoints (details vs. big picture), Mercury and Jupiter see things differently, but because they’re in each other’s signs (mutual reception), they are working together – and there’s a lot of info flying around at the moment. It’s enough to make your head spin! 

Saturn in Pisces squares the New Moon and will be squaring the Jupiter-Mercury opposition for much of Dec, forcing you to confront reality in some way. You may have extra work or face a challenge you weren’t anticipating, but consider it a needed restraint even if it doesn’t feel good in the moment. Jupiter in Sagittarius and Mercury in Gemini can take on too much or blow things out of proportion – and Saturn hits the brakes. Besides, there’s a lot to process when you reconsider your truth, beliefs and attitudes in the face of current (or incoming) info.

Mars in Leo and the North Node of Destiny in Aries both trine the New Moon (a Grand Fire Trine), indicating a path that inspires you. Don’t be discouraged by delays or confusion, as Mars turns Retrograde on Dec 6 and it’s not moving much. You may be itching to take action, but can’t for one reason or another. Patience is your friend and you can use the energy for inner exploration until an outward path is revealed and open. Set your intentions on the New Moon, attune to your inner guidance and take aligned actions when it feels right. 

Dec 2 – Venus trine Uranus. Cyber Monday here in the U.S. and Venus is your desires, while Uranus rules technology, innovation and surprises. This is a great day to do something different – a shakeup to an old routine or you may give / receive an unexpected blessing, gift, upgrade, socialize, offer a romantic or creative gesture. Uranus in Taurus and Venus in Capricorn are practical and like things that are real and lasting, so if you’re shopping, think about what would offer long-term pleasure or function.

Dec 4 – This is an exact expression of aspects that have been building, but become exact today.

Mercury opposite Jupiter. They are both Retrograde in each other’s signs, so info is changing, mixed signals, miscommunications, scheduling, tech and shopping issues are all possible and things aren’t clear. There’s a bigger picture, but you can’t get a grip on exactly what’s happening. This is not great for decision making, as uncertainty rules. Trust your instincts if you must make a choice now or wait until mid-month if you can.

Sun square Saturn. This the reality check – it may be a rejection, delay, restriction or limitation that feels hard. It may mean extra work, added responsibility or pressure or you have to make a challenging decision. Maybe you feel discouraged or it feels heavy, like everything is on your shoulders, or you can’t just do what you want to do. But trust in the big picture and long game, which you do not know – and that the Universe is working in your favor. That’s the Sagittarius perspective of big picture hope, faith and optimism. Short term work and productivity for long-term gain. Do the work. 

Venus sextile Neptune. Now comes the rest, relaxation, leisure, creative fun or spiritual connection. Whatever soothes your soul, that’s what you should pursue. This is an active day with lots going on and you may just welcome a leisurely evening to unwind and chill in your preferred way. Dream on, float on, connect with whatever brings you peace or Divine Love and enjoy! 

Dec 5 – Sun Cazimi (conjunct) Mercury Rx. Mercury Cazimi is the mid-point of the Retrograde cycle when Mercury is in the heart of the Sun – and in Sagittarius it is philosophical, inviting you to reexamine the beliefs and ideals to take into 2025. Stay open to downloads, awakenings, insights, wisdom or epiphanies, as well as synchronistic meetings, events or visions that serve your future. Create sacred space to meditate, journal or to utilize spiritual practices that will allow you access to messages to evolve your consciousness.

Slow down. This is an active week and it will be followed by more activity, as key planets are Retrograde. This is our new normal, as we are faced with energetic shifts, an abundance of info and high ideals vs. harsh realities. Not all the time, but enough to force all of us to reconsider our beliefs and think about what they mean for our future. This is the plan. You are here for this and you can do it. 

Once again, I believe we are being called to step into the roles we came to play for the next leg of this journey. Some came to be warriors or activists, while some came to be farmers, teachers, healers, leaders, caregivers, builders or networkers. 

Feel into what you think your role might be and decide if you are positioned properly or if you need to prepare in some way. There are many already in place, but there are many who have important roles to play who are still wondering if they even have value. I’m here to tell you – yes, you do! What if nobody was Self-conscious and everyone just showed up with a loving heart? We would have a different world.

Pluto is in Aquarius and the shift is palpable, as it’s in the sign of revolution, innovation and liberation. The unraveling of long held norms and structures is part of Pluto’s mission, and as you encounter challenging 3D experiences, hold a higher perspective, knowing that from a big picture perspective all is in Divine Order, as we are being pushed to evolve. 

I’ll keep reminding you to utilize your best spiritual and healing practices to support your well being. No matter what’s going on “out there,” your job is to handle what’s going on within YOU. Choose wisely who and what you allow into your orbit and attune to your inner guidance for direction, as we need you to be at your best for the Greater Good. 

The Sun is in upbeat Sagittarius, ready for action, inspiration and adventure. We’ll have an abundance of thoughts, info, and communication with the Sun and Mercury in Sagittarius, and Jupiter opposite Mercury amplifies your thoughts, words and actions even more, so you may be in a stream of consciousness mode of expression (lots of words). 

Consider what you’re saying, writing, posting and how you want to say it before you get into trouble inadvertently (Sagittarius can be blunt). The best of Sun/Mercury opposite Jupiter is big picture visions,  wisdom, bright ideas and inspired truth. How can you uplift others with your ideas and messages?  

Nov 22 – Venus sextile Saturn. This aspect promotes relationships that nurture your well being in practical ways, as well as offering commitment and stability. This speaks to who and what you value, as well as operating in your Authority (valuing and trusting your Self). Choose wisely who and what you devote energy to today, as less is more with quality over quantity.

Nov 25 – HYPERLINK “https://www.soullevelsolutions.com/free-mercrx-report-signup/”Mercury Stations Retrograde through Dec 15, bringing potential slowdowns and snafus related to travel, info, communications and scheduling during the holiday and shopping season in the U.S. 

This requires you to double-check details and document as much as possible in writing to help keep track of info – and get receipts for everything. Rushing is the fast track to problems; practice taking conscious actions.

Nov 25 – 27 – Grand Fire Trine: Sun Trine Mars in Leo and Sun Trine North Node (Destiny) in Aries.

Sun trine Mars in Aries. You may have the confidence and enthusiasm to act on something you feel passionate about. This can get you going.

Sun trine North Node in Aries. Your alignment with and attunement to your Self and your Truth move you toward your Destiny (Evolving Life Purpose). Yes to that! The ONLY thing you know for sure is what is true for YOU. Let that guide your direction.

Mercury is Retrograde, Mars has slowed (preparing to Retrograde on Dec 6) and the North Node is not fast so you may feel increased inner desire and drive, combined with external slo-mo that can heighten your focus or create frustration. The way you hold the energy will determine your experience. Patience is advised. Do what you can without pushing and move your body if you need to burn off excess energy.

Take actions that call to you, knowing you’ll have plenty of opportunities to review, revise, revamp during the Mercury and Mars Retrogrades. Consider this Grand Trine an opening where you can research, explore and conceptualize what is calling to you. Trust the messages you receive.

All week we are in the dark of the Moon, with the New Moon in Sagittarius on Nov 30 @ 10:21pm PST or Dec 1 @ 1:21am EST. This means the drive you experience earlier in the week is here to awaken something in you, to drop breadcrumbs and get your attention so you can take actions on the New Moon by making a plan or brainstorming. There’s such a mix of energies – the desire to act, with undertow, and the distortion of Pluto in Aquarius shifting your reference points so the landscape is morphing. It’s a nonlinear path where you have to surf the waves…

It’s hard to describe an experience like this week in advance, but you will move through it with intention and grace. Follow your inner cues, ask what needs to be brought to your awareness for your Highest Good. Then journal, or dream, meditate, walk in nature or whatever you do be receptive. Hone your Self-care and Self-awareness skills – they are not optional. 

Know that you are safe and here on purpose as part of the One Love to illuminate the world. Think of your friends, loved ones and connections – those who are aligned with you and who you can call on for support when needed – and ask if you need help. Then recognize the beautiful gifts you have to share with others when they need support, to hold space with compassion or offer a listening ear. Or maybe your presence is a healing for others, with your loving smile and kind heart.

A wise therapist friend in NYC said when I began my astrology work and was fearful and judging my ability, “Don’t mistake lack of experience for lack of talent.”  Brilliant words from Shelley E – and I have quoted her often to my clients. You learn by doing and practicing – and that’s how you develop skills. Is this your time to get in the game or come out of hiding?

Get ready for movement that will revolutionize the world this week and it’s only the beginning, as the world we knew will morph in dramatic ways over the next six months. Your job is to practice impeccable Self-care, focus on your path and watch events from the witness perspective, knowing that deep restructuring is needed for our ultimate evolution, but it won’t be a linear path and sometimes it will challenge your ego (fears, beliefs, identity, security). Be bamboo (bend, don’t break) and be ready to ride the (air)waves…

Nov 15 – Saturn Stations Direct, indicating forward movement in slow, steady steps for the long term. You may be making practical decisions or plans regarding where you’ll direct your efforts over the next several months or in 2025. Mercury Retrograde (Nov 28-Dec 15) and Mars Retrograde (Dec 5-Feb 23, ’25) will give you plenty of opportunities to review, revise and revamp anything that is in process, allowing for course corrections and upgrades as needed.

With Saturn in Pisces you may feel like you can’t get a grip, like you’re drifting, or your old structures are dissolving (they probably are). If so, consider that you are in preparation for a new model of community that we’ll be building more than operating via the old solo methods. Be willing to surrender old structures that no longer fit and open to new, incoming paradigms that will reveal themselves to you. Uncertainty is the space in which to utilize spiritual practices to connect to your Inner Self, as you do the next right thing.

Nov 15 – Full Moon @ 24º Taurus – 1:28pm PDT. This Full Moon illuminates issues around security, comfort (Taurus), and power, transformation (Scorpio), pushes you (again) to face your shadow, cleanse and release that which is complete, outdated, holding you back or weighing you down. Dysfunctional Issues re: $$ and power are ripe for breakthroughs in relationships if you dare to get real and seek a solution. Scorpio is ruled by Pluto, which is traversing it’s last four days in Capricorn, so needed endings are a prime feature of this lunation.

Uranus (The Great Awakener) conjunct the Taurus Moon can bring shocks, disruptions, unexpected reversals or revelations and it can also create sudden opportunities or realizations that allow for quantum leaps forward. Consider this a turning point, with Saturn Stationing Direct calling you forward and the Full Moon with Uranus activating change or liberating you from restrictions.

Venus in Capricorn is squaring the Nodes of Fate. This invites you to examine if claiming your Self-worth and Authority is in conflict with your current relationships. Are you compromising yourself in ways that diminish you – or are you so independent that nobody can really get close? See if you are entrenched in a role, identity or pattern that blocks your Evolving Self – or if you restrict yourself by what you invest your time and energy in, so that it interferes with your growth. What do you want?

Nov 16 – Sun opposite Uranus. Uranus is always seeking Authentic expression, independence and/or innovation. Where you feel trapped, stuck or bored, Uranus wants you to break out of the cage – and this can either be constructive (a healthy change) or destructive (wildly impulsive and risk-taking). If you won’t make a move, the Great Awakener will do it for you when it connects with your planets. This is a fab day to honor your Authentic Self by doing something that thrills, enlivens or excites you – and consider what you can do to put some spark in your life to inspire your mind and spirit and break up stale patterns.

Nov 18 – Mercury opposite Jupiter. This is the first of three oppositions (b/c of Mercury Retrograde), with the other two on Dec 4 and Dec 26, which may begin a story or a process for you. This is an optimistic duo that wants to explore, expand and grow, either by traveling to learn or via books, media, online. You may have big ideas and plans, idealistic conversations, brainstorms and visions, but be sure to include details if you want to create something real – and watch for what begins around this time for you.

Sun trine Neptune. This is a soft, mystical, dreamy experience that is beautiful for creative expression and appreciation, spiritual practices, intuitive pursuits, being in nature, leisure and tender connections. Go within to access your Inner Guidance, peace, refuge and profound rest as we bid Pluto in Capricorn a final farewell. It is over after today.

Nov 19 – Pluto in Aquarius. Finally Pluto leaves Capricorn to enter Aquarius until 2043. Aquarius is an air sign that rules groups, organizations, technology, innovation, freedom, equality, community and everything that flies through the air (electricity, space travel, air travel, the internet, etc), and AI. We will be engaging with Pluto in Aquarius details and talking about them as life unfolds for the next 20 years – and it will radically transform our world and how we connect with each other, just as Pluto does in every sign it moves through.

Issues around power, trust and transformation will be found in the arena of Aquarius, which is futuristic, so much will be created that we haven’t even imagined yet, as well as the darker side. Stay tuned… it will be interesting to be part of this unfolding story.

Nov 21 – Sun in Sagittarius. The Sun moves into fiery Sagittarius, ready for adventure, to expand and grow, to share beliefs and their truth. You may have the confidence to try something now that you wouldn’t have before, feeling more confident and inspired.

Sun sextile Pluto. The Sun is in Sagittarius and Pluto has just entered Aquarius for good. This is a productive combo, allowing access to your power and to feel empowered, as you focus on a project or a path. The intensity of Pluto gives you depth, stamina and determination, while the Sun in Sagittarius offers high ideals, conviction and the can-do enthusiasm that is so infectious (or zealous). This is a powerful day to take actions toward something you want to create or promote that speaks to a new day.

What a week we have in store. Major changes that we’ve had previews of before, but now it’s “go” time, meaning that Pluto will be in Aquarius for 20 years, changing our lives and changing the world. Start thinking about what more needs to go and what needs to change (incoming). Where you can take action?

Mercury Retrograde is right around the corner, starting in ten days (11/25). Do your shopping for major purchases now. Don’t panic. Stay in a neutral or high zone by using all your tools and connecting with positive people and input. Worry and fear lowers your frequency and immune system. EFT (google it) and meditation are helpful. Look for resources near you if you need help.

We need you to embrace your leadership in your neighborhood, your community, online, in your spiritual community or at work. This is no time to shrink or play small – this is what you’ve been preparing for, to support others who need your service, to gather, or who need a Lighthouse.

Consider this an invitation – I know you’re out there and some of you are already leaders, but others of you have been in hiding, flying under the radar. Time to come out! We need you now.
