Feb 16 – The air element dominates the weekend, with five planets in objective Aquarius and the Moon in mental Gemini. Plus, Mercury squares Uranus today, bringing unexpected news, speedy communications, radical decisions, abrupt changes or a flash of brilliance that creates a breakthrough where you were stuck (a gift!). The frenetic pace of info may make your nervous system feel wired; grounding is helpful with all the electric energy flying around. Take a walk, stand in the grass, hug a tree.

Feb 16 – Venus in Aquarius seeks relationships on an aligned wavelength – authenticity, equality and friendship. It favors humanitarian causes, groups and communities with like-minded types, in which you are connected, yet independent. Find your tribe. Venus in Aquarius is intellectual, a little detached emotionally and needs space, so don’t be clingy. There are people who would rather have an online relationship with someone and never meet in person (no disappointment or messy human drama). Aquarius rules technology, so that and AI is part of this energy, too.

Feb 17 – Venus conjunct Pluto. These two meet for the first time in Aquarius and you have the opportunity to purge old non-working paradigms. Venus-Pluto can activate issues around love and power, love and $$, love and betrayal, control, jealousy and love triangles, but only if you have the patterns in your natal chart and you do the deep work. This is an intense combo, can be magnetic, when you attract (or are attracted to) someone who isn’t good for you, but they’re irresistible and you lose yourself. Like a Venus flytrap.

Shamanic Pluto can awaken you to relationship issues that keep you from getting what you want and various protections and projections that keep your heart from opening fully. If you are ready, this is an opportunity to gain penetrating insights that can liberate you from victimhood, to create a profound breakthrough personally (Self-love, valuing your Self) or in relationship dynamics.

Another possible manifestation of Venus-Pluto in Aquarius is the Collective Feminine mobilizing for future growth and the Greater Good. Just as Mars-Pluto of Feb 14 can represent the Collective Masculine – this is a new era with new ideals and attitudes (Aquarius) – and we’re planting seeds (or we ARE the seeds) of awareness in the collective, but it is just the beginning…

Feb 18 – Sun in Pisces (8:13pm PST). The Sun enters sensitive Pisces following the Moon moving into nurturing Cancer, and there is a distinct shift from the

observer perch to a more intuitive, emotional vibe. There are still four planets in Aquarius, but now we have three in Pisces, led by the Sun. Allow yourself to flow this week and let your Inner Guidance show you the way, as you move gently. Your inner experience will be rich, so create space for your spiritual practices for maximum Self-care and to be receptive to what’s coming through for you.

Feb 19 – Chiron (Wound/Master Healer) conjunct North Node of Destiny/Fate in Aries. This is a profound opening for next level awakening re: your evolving identity (who you are now), claiming your will, acting on it and building your life around it. You may receive new info about your purpose or have a new awareness of your significance – and if you think you already know, check your evolving Self. You and your life are never stagnant – there is no end point, so be open to incoming info re: the next leg of your journey.

Feb 22 – Venus conjunct Mars in Aquarius. We have the love and passion planets, but in the sign of Aquarius they march to their own drummer – they do it their way! Quirky, eccentric, exciting types may turn you on – whether for love or friendship (same thing for Aquarius). They want mental stimulation, but don’t count on long-term commitments if you have a good time. Stay in the moment and see what happens.

We’re all new at this game – and Pluto is in the neighborhood, which creates a heaviness that almost feels like a Trojan Horse or some hidden agenda we don’t know about. Venus could lure you in and then Pluto nabs you. On the world stage, the dramas have already begun, right on schedule.

Just watch… everything will unfold in Divine Timing. We are here for it. Don’t be distracted by the noise – pay attention to what’s real within you and what’s yours to do.

Focus on your mission and purpose. Remember, this is your soul’s contract – to be here now, as part of the transition team.

Freedom. Authenticity. Awakening. These are keywords for the frenetic New SuperMoon in Aquarius that is squared by Uranus on Feb 9 at 2:59am PST. This can trigger impulsive, rebellious energy – or it can give you the impetus to express your true Self in ways you wouldn’t normally do, due to programming that’s kept you operating in socially acceptable identities, relationships and lifestyles. This is the time to open and address the needs of your Authentic
Self. Time to get real.

The New Moon is the time for new beginnings. Uranus brings the unexpected that can shake things up, open or close doors and change the playing field. If you want to be proactive, YOU make the changes. Your life isn’t meant to stay the same going forward. Aquarius rules innovations, inventions, futuristic creations, Higher Mind, humanitarian causes, groups, orgs, communities, technology and friends; it wants to improve conditions in our rapidly changing world and wants you to evolve.

We have the Sun-Pluto in Aquarius for the first time ever in our lives, along with the Moon and Mercury, bringing intense energies and a rapid pace that can push your nervous system to the max. Aquarius is strong willed, independent and thinks out of the box, optimal energy for finding solutions to whatever is out of alignment for you in your life. Use this New Moon energy to take an action to make a change.

Self-care is vital, as your well being is primary. Give yourself space to focus on yourself, allowing time to write intentions, any brilliant ideas you receive or connect with like-minded others in community. Tune in and whatever you’re feeling is the way to go.

Feb 10 – Lunar New Year – Year of the Wood Dragon. This is an auspicious year, as the Dragon is the one animal in the Chinese zodiac that is a mythical creature and the Wood Dragon represents leadership, strength, confidence, visionary, nurturing and creativity. Embrace these qualities in the coming year as you allow your evolving Self to shift into its next expression.

Feb 10 – Mercury squares Jupiter, which amplifies your thoughts and adds to the high vibe energy. This can stretch your ideas to envision a bigger picture, beyond any stuckness (tunnel vision). Jupiter in Taurus can be attached to security, but Mercury in Aquarius goes beyond the status quo, allowing for unique, visionary paths and genius that Jupiter in Taurus can potentially bring down to earth (with a friendly sextile from Saturn for support). Don’t be afraid to brainstorm and see what you get. It could be brilliant!

Feb 12 – Mars enters Aquarius late tonight and it’s heading for Pluto, which is combustible. Sensitives may feel this unsettling energy rumbling underground before tomorrow, when it’s exact. Mars = aggression and Pluto = what’s hidden. Together, this is often repressed rage, war, major aggression, like a volcano, about to blow. Easy does it…

Feb 13 – Venus sextile Neptune is beauty, Oneness, the soft, open-hearted compassionate energy of Divine Love. We want to believe in Goodness, that love and light will triumph over darkness. Some people will check out via this energy (drink, drugs, online, shopping, food) to escape the heaviness of Mars-Pluto. Some will pray, meditate, make art, be in nature and choose to use the higher energies of love and higher consciousness to direct their attention deliberately toward what they want.

Feb 13/14 – Mars conjunct Pluto in Aquarius. This is a powerful combo that can make anything happen at best, and a force of nature that will not be controlled. Dominant, passionate, revolutionary and it will fight if it senses any kind of control or manipulation. Stay tuned to see how it will play out. Rebels will rebel and undercover helpers may rise to assist us in ways we can’t predict; we’ll just have to watch the show.

Also Chiron (Wound/Master Healer) is conjunct the North Node of Destiny/Fate in Aries all week. This becomes exact on Feb 19, but we’re feeling it and it’s a powerful opportunity for healing issues pertaining to your identity (knowing you truly are), claiming your will and acting on it and living your life on purpose. You may receive information about your life purpose or have a new awareness of your significance – and if you think you already know, consider your evolving Self and life purpose. I think it is very exciting.

Feb 15 – Mercury sextile Chiron. Healing through conversations, writing, intuition, processing. A variety of possibilities, but they involve the mind and communication, with yourself and/or with another or others. Don’t miss the opportunity for healing, connection, amends or greater understanding. Reach out, be open, be receptive.

What a week, this new beginning the likes of which we’ve never known before. We are here for it. Don’t be distracted by the noise – pay attention to what’s real within you and what’s yours to do.

This can be an enlightening week and what you learn may alter some aspect of you and your life. Pluto and Mercury will be conjoined in Aquarius for the first time in 200+ years, potentially revealing blind spots or where you’ve been in denial – and then it is up to you to determine what to do with any info received.

Feb 2 – Mercury sextile Neptune – This supports intuitive guidance and direction, creative expression, channeling, writing and speaking, as well bringing dreams into form by creating an outline, program or physical structure. Mercury in Capricorn excels at making things real that will last and Neptune rules higher consciousness, imagination, spiritual practices and selfless service. Choose an expression that suits you and soothes you.

Feb 4/5 – Mercury in Aquarius – Mental Mercury leaves earth bound, rule-follower Capricorn to enter airborne, free spirit Aquarius late on Feb 4 (PST) and early on Feb 5 (EST). Mercury in Aquarius relates to technology, science, the future, inventions, electricity, internet, AI, science fiction (which isn’t fiction for long…), genius, brilliance, ETs.

Mercury in Aquarius thinks outside the box, is visionary, modern, always looking for innovation to create a quantum leap. This Mercury is focused on the Greater Good, the masses and humanity, objective ideas rather than personal relationships in general.

More events on Feb 5:

Venus square Chiron – You have learned and healed much around a wound or issue and maybe now you are at peace, holding yourself and others involved with compassionate acceptance. If you still need healing, let your mantra be: “I only want what is in alignment with my Divine Self,” find your helpers and keep going. Don’t ever give up.

Sun sextile Chiron – This supports Venus square Chiron, lifting you up to shine – to discover and express buried or hidden gifts that have always been within you just waiting to come out. You have to be ready to be some kind of *special* that wasn’t allowed where you came from – that’s why it’s been underground.

You don’t have to know why – you just have to trust your impulses and desires, where you’re led and what you’re called to express and explore. Trust your process and timing. You’re not late, you’re not wrong – your process is perfect for you! (P.S. It’s your ego giving the commentary about right-wrong and timing. This is your soul’s mission).

Mercury conjunct Pluto in Aquarius – Pluto rules what’s hidden and when Mercury arrives, the truth comes out, either from an external source or from within you (a breakthrough). This is CSI energy, when you want the real story and intense communications are on the menu, deep and profound. With the proper inquiry and

radical honesty, Mercury in Aquarius can facilitate profound insights and brilliance that illuminates shadows and truly sets you free. This is what successful therapy does – goes into the deep unconscious to find the story and releases trapped energies.

Mercury-Pluto can be extreme persuasion, where you (or another) are pushing an idea more than you realize, even with good intentions. You may become obsessed with a thought, person or thing – or you go into detective mode, determined to get to the bottom of something. Plutonian types know what I’m talking about; like a dog with a bone.

Feb 6 – Venus square Nodes of Fate / Destiny – This has various interpretations. Your ego desires (Venus) may be in conflict with your North Node of Destiny (Aries = Claim your identity, find your will, do it your way). Maybe your Venus would rather be taken care of or doesn’t want to rock the boat (South Node in Libra). How can you get your Venus desires met (values, how you value your Self, $$, relationships) and still move toward the independent self-directed North Node in Aries? That’s the negotiation.

Feb 7 – Venus trine Uranus – Venus is ready for a shakeup, excitement and stimulation in relationships, style, who you surround yourself with, what you pursue. Same old, same old or the road less traveled? Safe or Authentic? Dare you go where you’ve never gone before? Shake it up! And don’t be surprised if an unexpected opportunity drops into your lap – an invitation, a gift, an introduction – you never know what may happen! You have to to be in it to win it (as they say :))

Mars sextile Neptune – Wu Wei (The Tao) is a way to move – natural action without struggle or excessive effort, actions effortlessly aligned with the flow of life. Use your intuition (Neptune) for guidance as you take actions (Mars). Rather than push, you flow around obstacles and allow your natural instincts to as your GPS. It’s like a moving meditation.

Feb 8 – Sun square Uranus – This is the prelude to the New Moon in Aquarius on Feb 9 @ 3pm PST that Uranus will square as well. Uranus is unexpected change – and this is electric energy that strikes like lightning. This can show up via world events, but it may touch you personally depending on your chart.

This is perfect for making a proactive change for anything stale, outdated or that is no longer yours to carry. Release, release, release. Take good care of your nervous system and give yourself and everyone extra space today. Move gently, watch for accidents, be mindful driving and know that people may be touchy, so dial down the drama.

Remember, ALL planets are Direct until Mercury turns Retrograde on April 1 and the pace will continue to pick up as we go. Also, this is a leap year and we have 29 days this month – an extra long February!
