We are traveling through the Eclipse Wormhole (a cosmic portal linking disparate realities), between the March 14 Lunar Eclipse and the upcoming Solar Eclipse on March 29. Neptune is at the last degree of Pisces at 29º (the end of the zodiac), before it enters Aries on March 30 following the Solar Eclipse. We are in a liminal phase and in labor, on the precipice of a rebirth that is unlike anything we’ve ever seen before, as Neptune hasn’t been in Aries in 164 years. This will be a whole new (world) experience for us. 

But there’s more…

Venus and Mercury are Retrograde in Aries, with Venus leading and Mercury following close behind – and they will each conjoin the Sun, marking the midpoint of their Retrograde cycles that is a powerful reset and time of internal reflection. When Venus or Mercury is conjunct the Sun, they are Cazimi, in the heart of the Sun.

March 22 – Venus Cazimi Sun. This is the beginning of a new Venus cycle for the coming 19 months and it’s prime time to review your values, relationships and how you value your Self – past, present and what you want to create for your future. All the changes happening in the world should support you in crystallizing your priorities and getting clear about what really matters to you – now and when Venus turns Direct (April 12). 

Venus in Aries is independent, Self-centered (not seeking agreement, permission, approval), and honors its passions, whatever they are. This is where you came to initiate or instigate something, to make a move or make your mark, to express yourself and BE who you ARE. What might that be for you?

March 23 – Sun sextile Pluto. This is a day when you are likely to feel confident, strong and prepared to tackle a major project or take on anything requiring focus and stamina. Your personal power is be high, you may be magnetic, attracting people in positions of power or authority. The guidance is to stay in integrity and use any power you acquire for good, especially the Greater Good (karma points for that :)).  

March 24 – Mercury Cazimi Sun. This is an invitation to open to Divine Guidance, messages or revelations that inform your vision, your future and any decisions or course corrections you choose to make. Allow new info, ideas, clarity and illuminations in your consciousness to align you with wisdom and insight, as ideas that come through now are the seeds of your future. Journal, channel, contemplate, sit in silence to create sacred space so you can receive and hear…

March 25 – Mercury sextile Pluto. Mercury-Pluto is fertile for focusing mental energy to research, write, create, gain clarity, recognize patterns or problem solve. This is CSI energy, like being in a vortex, where you are the detective and truth comes to light, as Pluto rules what’s hidden. 

You may explore inner realms for buried awareness, or you may deliver a profound message that makes an impact on you, others, and the world. Messengers, teachers, collaborators – whoever, whatever you are drawn to is part of your new story, so pay attention to what comes into your arena and be discerning as you consider new ideas and players during this time of extreme movement.

March 27 – April 30. Venus Retrograde in Pisces. Venus is now back in old territory, where it was in late Jan – early Feb, so you may find yourself reviewing topics that you were dealing with then. This is a gentler, softer Venus, more receptive, fluid, compassionate than Venus in Aries – and more accommodating.

Venus conjunct Neptune. Just as Venus returns to Pisces, it aligns with Neptune at the final degree of Pisces. This is dreamy, spiritual, intuitive, creative energy, best for healing and Wu Wei (flowing around obstacles). Very sensitive, you may have low vitality, as the energy is called within and it’s best to recharge in nature, via spiritual practices or you may just want to relax today. 

March 29 – Solar Eclipse in Aries is @ 3:58am PDT. A major new beginning, a wild card shakeup that can bring fated, unpredictable events – often world events. In Aries, we can expect to see action and get more clarity. This week preceding the Eclipse may contain a sneak peek of some themes you’ll experience during and after it – stay tuned to see how things unfold and I’ll talk more about the Solar Eclipse next week.

The current astro setup is layered with events, one after the next, creating waves of change that can wash over you, pull you backwards or move you around so you may feel disoriented and not know where you are at any given moment. As always, focus on events from a higher perspective in order to find your balance.

March 13 @ 11:55pm PDT – Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Virgo
The Lunar Eclipse may have highlighted an area of your life that is complete or that has run its course. If you don’t surrender, purge or release it, it may end or be taken away, or you may be dragged until you let go or get the message. Is a release needed? If so, soul growth is waiting behind it, but first a clearing needs to happen. The Sun conjunct Saturn in Pisces on the Lunar Eclipse invites you to trust your Self and your Inner Guidance. Don’t look outside your Self for validation – go within – and with the North Node and Neptune in Pisces, trust that All is in Divine Order.

The Full Moon in Virgo is a busy bee, ruling health, wellness, service and it wants to get everything in order, perfectly, now, which can activate neurotic worry or anxiety. But the North Node, Sun and Neptune are in Pisces radiating peace, stillness and connection to All That Is (hint: Be Here Now :))

If you want to check out due to overwhelm, I recommend choosing a healthy expression to soothe yourself, like communing with nature and animals, listening to music, having a massage or a bath – anything that calms your nervous system. Meditation, yoga, chanting, walking. Keep it simple.

Pisces energy is the mystical power of Being, imagination, compassion and empathy. It radiates Divine Love. Can you feel the relaxation in that? It can create disillusionment or confusion when misdirected – but even confusion can be an opening – and Pisces works by dissolving or unwinding old structures that have outlived their usefulness. With the North Node in Pisces, you are being called to lean into faith, surrender and trust in the unseen realms – that you are being led somewhere good for you, even when you can’t see what or where that is.

Mercury 15 – April 7 – Mercury Retrograde. The Lunar Eclipse in Virgo is ruled by Mercury (the mind, your thinking) – and Mercury is now turning backwards in Aries to retrace its steps, to review, revise and reassess the territory it covered since the beginning of March. Mercury is in Aries traveling just a few degrees behind Venus Retrograde in Aries – so you’re thinking about your values. (They will both Retrograde into Pisces later in the month, more to come in the weeks ahead).

With Mercury and Venus in Aries, the focus is on where you are now – the “boxes” you come from – your thinking, what you value, what you aspire to, your belief system, years of accumulated indoctrination. What is true, what is real? Does anyone know?

With all the accelerated deconstruction and paradigm shifts, as Mercury rewinds and follows Venus’ path, it is possible that you can give your old ideas and alliances a second look to see what still applies in your evolving landscape. Are you open to anything new? Have you changed, shifted, evolved – are you willing?

This is Aries time – Aries is the Self – Me, I Am. You decide who you are, what you think, what you do, who you love. Many people don’t know who they really are, even though they think they do. They are being who they were programmed to be… So it’s a BIG deal to consciously reconsider who you are, who you want to be and to deliberately choose what you think rather than being obedient, following the crowd (even the spiritual crowd), reacting to social media, media or seeking external validation.

In these profoundly changing times, it’s a next level check in and potential course correction. Where are you now? What matters to you and what are you thinking? That’s my perspective on this Mercury Retrograde in Aries, that will be followed by the infinite potential of Mercury Retrograde in Pisces – then you’ll have another perspective to consider.

March 19 – Sun conjunct Neptune. This is a go with the flow day, Higher realms, right-brained, beautiful for spiritual practices, nature, rest and leisure activities, as well as creative expression, compassionate and mystical connections.

March 20 – Sun in Aries / Spring Equinox. Happy Astrological New Year! We cross the World Point (0º Aries), the beginning of the zodiac, as we enter the Spring season and everything is fresh, alive and ready to grow. This is a technically a new beginning, but it doesn’t really feel like it.

Aries is ruled by Mars, now Direct and starting to pick up a little steam, but still not traveling very fast. Mercury and Venus are Retrograde in Aries, so they’re moving backwards, while the Sun is going forward in Aries, trying to create some traction. Conflicting energies by multiple planets flowing in different directions and you can feel it – a little bipolar and you don’t really get anywhere significant, so don’t push yourself (or anyone else). Be patient and know that a Solar Eclipse in Aries is coming on March 29, that will be a major new beginning!

As I said last week, I suggest that you allow twice as much time to do half as many things whenever possible, as space is nurturing for the soul – whether it’s physical, mental or emotional.

All the clearing and releasing you do that unfolds in the days ahead is creating space for what’s to come when the Solar Eclipse brings the new arrivals. Your job is to align with your Higher Self and be receptive to the Goodness that awaits you.

Expect the best, even if you don’t know what it is, as you allow in what energizes and nourishes you.

Although the Lunar Eclipse won’t technically occur until March 13 @ 11:55pm PDT, we’re in the Eclipse Wormhole, a cosmic portal between realities that requires you to shift your consciousness in order to adapt to our evolving world, which is ever-changing, moment by moment. As you are surfing the waves, the only way to maintain your balance is to find a focal point at the level of your third eye or your crown chakra. In other words, to connect and operate in the higher realms for an expansive, visionary perspective. 

Venus Retrograde continues from March 1-April 12, reassessing, reviewing and revising all that pertains to quality of life matters: your values, desires, $$, relationships, love, how you value your Self, style, beauty, aesthetics and creative expression. Old loves and lovers may reappear, great for thrifting (everything old is new again!), reselling or donating things you are ready to part with, making amends, reconnecting with old friends, reconsidering your budget, your space or whatever needs attention. You will know. Give it and your Self the love and care your deserve. 

March 8 – Sun trine Mars. The Pisces Sun harmonizes with Mars, perhaps clarifying a direction and motivating you to take action toward something that’s calling you forward with confidence and enthusiasm. 

March 9 – Daylight Saving Time begins at 2am. Spring forward! Enjoy an extra hour of daylight going forward.

March 11 – Mercury conjunct Venus. The planet of communication meets the planet of values, harmony and relationships. Venus is Retrograde and Mercury is slowing, about to Retrograde on March 15, so their impact is greater than usual. This is wonderful for reconnecting with old friends, loves, mending rifts and resolving conflicts (Venus Retro), clearing the air and processing, as well as the usual social and creative activities that Mercury and Venus enjoy. 

March 12 – Sun conjunct Saturn. A reality check about what’s really important; this is perfect for taking care of business, organizing, scheduling, budgeting, eliminating fluff, making commitments, disciplined action and decisions, decision, decisions. 

This is about doing methodical work for lasting results. You should be clear about boundaries right now. You can accomplish a lot – and just before Mercury turns Retrograde, so take advantage of this practical, industrious energy by getting your ducks in a row.

March 13 at 11:55pm PDT – Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Virgo @ 24º 

A Lunar Eclipse occurs on a Full Moon – and is about endings, completions, releasing, revelations and the culmination of things. This Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Virgo is ruled by Mercury in Aries, which is about to Retrograde on March 14 and it’s Stationing (standing still), so it’s about to be reviewing and course correcting. 

Eclipses are wild cards and unpredictable, as they often bring fated events and it’s hard to know where things are going until the dust settles. People may overreact, are overly emotional, tense and are often controlling due to feelings of powerlessness, so please reserve judgment as events unfold rather than jumping to conclusions, which requires emotional discipline. It’s a high level skill, but it will serve you well and your nervous system will thank you :))

The South Node (the past and what we need to let go of) in Virgo is conjunct the Full Moon on this Lunar Eclipse and this is about eliminating the lower expressions of Virgo. Think: analysis paralysis, being critical rather than compassionate, perfectionistic, stuck in your left-brain mind rather than feeling, being rigid or busy all the time and never able to relax. It’s time to loosen up. 

The goal is to find balance on the Pisces-Virgo axis and with the North Node, Neptune and Saturn in Pisces the focus is on developing greater flow and trust in your intuition, connection to Spirit, spiritual practices, selfless service, unconditional love, rest and faith that All is in Divine Order – even when you don’t know what’s going on. This will bring you peace, as well as heart-opening, which is the path to Unity Consciousness. 

Mercury will turn Retrograde on March 14 and I’ll share more about that next week, but all week Mercury will be slowing down and you may begin to experience tech or communication snafus early (you never know). I suggest that you allow twice as much time to do half as many things whenever possible just to support yourself, as space is nurturing for the soul – whether it’s physical, mental or emotional. We enter March in the Eclipse Wormhole, a cosmic portal between two vastly different realities that will complete on the New Moon in Taurus on April 27. With five planets and the North Node of Fate in Pisces you may be in a high frequency realm of inner visions, imagination or dreams – or lost at sea in confusion or worry (lower frequency). It’s important to stay high by remembering that All is in Divine Order during chaotic times so as not to get emotionally hooked by external dramas. Be Spock. Be an observer. 

The Pisces lineup represents completions, endings and clearings re: what no longer serves your Highest Good to create space for the new to arrive in the coming months via awakenings and other special deliveries. None of the planets are moving much right now, so just notice what you notice about what’s working/what’s not working, as you prepare for course corrections during the Retrogrades. 

Mars in sensitive Cancer turned Direct on Feb 23, but the planet of action will sit at 17º until March 10, in slo-mo with little propulsion yet. 

March 1 – Mercury conjunct North Node in Pisces. This can bring divine downloads, important messages, new info that redirects your thinking, fated encounters and connections, insights, guidance or learning that moves you toward your Highest Good, which you may not know until later. Divine alignment… 

March 1 – Venus Stations Retrograde in Aries until March 26, then Retrograde in Pisces March 27-April 12.

Venus Retrograde is a sacred reset of everything Venusian – your feminine aspects and how you operate from that space. Venus rules what you value and how you value your Self, as well as what makes life worth living for YOU. Venus is a major part of your story, as it influences your quality of life, what you believe you deserve or can have (worthiness), as it rules relationships, $$, love, creativity, beauty, style, aesthetics and pleasure. 

Venus in Aries is Self-centered, goes for what it wants, is independent and autonomous. It doesn’t ask for permission, seek approval or agreement; it’s bold, dynamic, passionate and direct. Venus in Aries is not reflective by nature – it’s fiery, impulsively trusts and pursues its desires. I encourage you to examine your values to see if you’re aligned with what you really want – and at what level (material, emotional, mental, spiritual). 

What is your love language (words of affirmation, acts of service, receiving gifts, physical touch, quality time)? These are clues about who you really are. If you have a partner, do they know your love language?

Consider if your relationships are fulfilling, if giving and receiving is in balance for you, if you’re paid what you’re worth for your work and how you feel about your Self in general. You may be a creative who was told you couldn’t make $$ being an artist, so you got a “real” job – or maybe you were influenced to become or do things because it made others happy. Think about where you have sacrificed your heart’s desires for the sake of harmony in relationships or because of your conditioned beliefs about who you should be. 

Whether it’s you, your relationship, your budget or any aspect of life that’s weighing on your heart, this is the time for a course correction (even if you don’t know what that is yet). Check to see if you have enough fun and socializing in your life. Whatever’s missing – you first have to identify it in order for a solution to appear. Journal or find a way to organize your thoughts and you may find that you download ideas you didn’t know you had if you’re willing to get real and feel the missing pieces… 

Also, old loves may pop up during Venus Retrograde – and if you reconnect with them you will likely remember why you separated when Venus goes Direct (if not before). You may find lost items (jewelry, heirlooms, art, clothing), and it’s a good time to make amends if needed. Don’t do anything permanent (tattoos, cosmetic surgery, new drastic hair cut) as it may go awry or you may be sorry after Venus turns Direct. 

You’ve got forty days of Venus Retrograde, an opportunity to rediscover your heart’s true beauty and magic, the expression of which may have evolved since you last checked. When you know how special you truly are, you will be amazed – and when your heart is full of love, you will radiate pure Light. 

The goal is fulfilling your Divine Potential, and a full heart will bring you there. The myth is that if you give enough, that’s the recipe for well being, but I think it’s the recipe for burnout, and I’m an advocate of giving AND receiving. My tribe is “givers” who need to practice receiving! Consider receiving (an open heart chakra) a spiritual practice and see how your life changes… 

March 2 – Mercury conjunct Neptune. A nonlinear combo that supports experiential activities, spiritual practices, creative pursuits, leisure, nature, rest and rejuvenation. This is especially good for writing, music, channeling, movies and all right-brained activities, as well as compassionate service. So creative, connected and spiritual – beautiful energy!

Sun square Jupiter. Upbeat, expansive energy, optimistic, big picture, confident and high energy – can be a little over the top, but it goes to a good time or possibilities. With Mercury-Neptune, there are no boundaries today, so this day feels like infinite potential – great for creativity, brainstorming, networking, socializing, generating new paradigms. 

March 3 – Mercury in Aries. Mercury is clear in Aries, direct, quick-thinking and an independent decision maker. However, Mercury will turn Retrograde on March 15 and it will retrace these steps, so everything that’s happening now and going forward will be reviewed later in the month and eventually Mercury will Retrograde into Pisces in late March and April. So although you may be hot to trot, slow down, think things through, get receipts and know the return policy for anything you buy and don’t be too attached to any idea, as it may be reworked or course corrected later. Know that so you aren’t shocked if it happens later. 

March 5 – Mercury sextile Pluto. This is very focused and productive energy for taking care of business. Grounded, able to handle details with clarity, strategic, solution-oriented, connected and stable. This is the day for any major project or a heavy workload that requires stamina, has a deadlines and demands reliable communications. A gift. 

What a way to begin the month of March. Venus Retrograde asks you to reevaluate your heart’s desires and your lovability which is very 3D – but the truth is on a higher level, You are loved just as you are. This Venus Retrograde is a sacred recalibration. 

Here in Earth School, there’s so much to learn and experience – and you signed up to be here for the dramatic process of planetary evolution when all the outer planets except Pluto change signs over the next four months. This is leading to a new world that we can’t envision yet, so we have to stay tuned…
