Wow I thought yesterday was a game changing day. A house across the street from me burned down to the ground, while I was teaching a class at the back of my own house. I didn’t hear a thing. But it’s a very weird thing to see the house right in front of you burn. And if that wasn’t enough, I woke to find out that an old childhood friend, the kind whose mother was best friends with my mother, passed away early in the morning. I knew he was in the hospital and that he had been diagnosed with lung cancer, but I didn’t get the chance to say good-bye. On top of all that, I had a horrific sore throat last night, and I’ not sure if my empathic Self was feeling the loss, or if the toxic air got to me. What I do know is that I spent some unnecessary moments worrying that I had ‘the virus’.
It’s just a very weird time. And while I thought yesterday was a game changer, today looks a whole lot more like the real thing.
