“Tonight, I had a very clear image of the Blessed Virgin Mary. She was standing with her arms down to the sides with her palms forward, in a position of benediction. I felt such peace radiating from her. Then I saw that her blue robes were opening wide and blood was pouring from her mid- and lower sections. And this, I thought, this is the grief, the sorrow that is welling up from deep in my heart. This violation of the Sacred, of the fertile grounds, of the Heart of Love. This is why the grief is so profound and deep and ancestral in feeling. Even in Her loss, she continues to radiate blessing to us who have been both complicit and victims of her violation. There is no blame in her eyes, no anger, no judgment, which makes our complicity and victimhood so much more difficult to bear, which makes our grief and sorrow unbearable. She asks for nothing. Our sorrow is our own purging and clearing, our asked for penance. She desires no penance for us. All that is needed, I am told by Her, the only thing that is required is that we kneel in complete surrender to Love. Love is the Divine Gift and it is up to each of us to choose at welcome it, become it, share it.
