We continue in Taurus season as the days lengthen, the earth softens, the flowers bloom, the birds sing and everything feels new. The Mars-Pluto intensity is separating and the pressure is diffusing. As Pluto Stations to change direction, issues around power are front and center (even more than usual), highlighting the current reality.

 

We finally turn an energetic corner as Venus and Neptune meet for the third time (now in Aries), rather than in multidimensional Pisces, where they met twice before. Pisces was about processing completions to clear space for the future – and now, in Aries, a spark of initiation has arrived so you can create something new. 

 

May 2 – Venus conjunct Neptune in Aries. A fresh beginning on a spiritual or creative level characterizes this duo. Venus in Aries will boldly pursue its desires and Neptune in Aries is a pioneer, with a radical dream or vision. Because Venus in Aries is independent and Self-centered, this feels deeply personal. Is there a burning desire in your heart that is ready to be activated? 

 

Neptune is boundless imagination that can take you beyond old limitations, so align with your vision, as you tread into uncharted territory and follow your heart. Yes, some may say it’s a fantasy or unrealistic, but you know what feels real for you. Trust your Self. If it’s in your consciousness, it’s meant for You!

 

May 4 – Pluto Stations Retrograde. Pluto is at 3º Aquarius, where it will sit for May and June, barely moving, as it calls you within to integrate current issues that are in process, if you have planets, points or angles near 3º of Aquarius, Leo, Scorpio or Taurus. You are in the midst of a transformational process that is a sacred turning point in your life and this path will change you, stripping away what is not you – or not for you, leading to an evolved expression of You.

 

Also on May 4, Mars finally leaves its post-Retrograde shadow after a long Retrograde in Cancer and Leo, since Oct ’24 (pre-Retrograde shadow). It’s past the Pluto-Mars opposition, totally free in fresh territory to create a new path in Leo, where it’s inspired, confident, happy to explore. Yes!

 

May 5 – Mercury sextile Jupiter. Mercury in Aries and Jupiter in Gemini they have something to say! They want to connect, communicate, create smart plans, they’re optimistic, upbeat with expansive thinking and big ideas. This is great for networking, sales, brainstorming, pitching a project and creating opportunities. Meet people, get around, listen and learn, get the 411. Make the most of this lively inspiration – the energy of possibilities!

 

May 6 – Venus sextile Pluto. The third of three meetings. Venus-Pluto is passionate, magnetic, charismatic and powerful, intense in romance, sales, and making things happen. Venus in Aries is bold and Pluto in Aquarius is innovative, so this is a perfect space to assess where you are in your evolution regarding your values, relationships, creativity and $$ – and how you value your Self. This Venus-Pluto wants to be on the leading edge, seeks to grow and forge a path into the new frontier. 

 

Mercury conjunct Chiron in Aries. This can be healing words, making/receiving amends or it can bring up unhealed wounds, such as feeling misunderstood, trouble communicating your thoughts and feelings, self-doubt, or negative beliefs about your intellect or education. I can’t tell you how many people judge themselves as a result of a childhood message they received that haunts them to this day. 

 

Imagine the grace of releasing a burden that was placed on you with careless words or actions so long ago – and know that it is doable. Or a more contemporary hurt can be corrected or soothed by a shift in perspective. It is totally doable.

 

There’s an abundance of fertile ground this week, with pioneering motivations and inspiration for laying fresh tracks on untrodden paths. The idea is to create your life anew in our emerging world that is alternately messy and ripe with potential, dying and collapsing, as tiny roots are forming underground and in the ethers, unseen, that will bring dramatic new creations in the days to come. 

 

Be creative as you enter this new chapter, attuned to your Higher Self, your heart, your loved ones, your community and the Greater Good.

We have just completed the final meeting of Venus and Saturn in Pisces, one of several  inner planetary Retrogrades that has taken you on a journey in consciousness and now  you’ve landed somewhere new. 

Venus is your values, how you value your Self, your creativity and what you love – and  Saturn is a reality check, commitment and the consequences of your actions. It will show  you where you stand. 

What has shifted, fallen away or evolved during this time? You may be ready to make some  new decisions. In the coming week, you’ll traverse the last few degrees of Venus in soulful  Pisces, and then you’ll take the frequency of your dreams and unconditional love into Aries.  But first… 

April 26 – Mars opposite Pluto. This is the third meeting of this combustible pair, bringing  potential power struggles, control, manipulation, competition or a catalyst that activates  you (or others), creating breakthroughs or breakdowns in relationships. 

It’s here to shake up the status quo with a pattern disrupt to break up stagnant energy. This  may not aTect you personally, but if it does, make it productive by finding where you are out  of alignment, how you react when you’re triggered and be willing to get real when  confronted with issues around power dynamics and how you fight. If it’s aTecting you, it’s  here to awaken you to a new reality. 

If there’s a problem and you’re involved, get the memo. This has come to you for  integration, so you can move forward with new freedom and empowerment. It may not feel  like it at the time, but this is a gift. 

April 27 – New SuperMoon in Taurus @ 12:31pm PDT. The New SuperMoon (extra close to  the earth) is the time for new beginnings, for taking actions directed toward what you want  to create or call into your life and this New SuperMoon completes the Eclipse Wormhole  that began on Feb 27, delivering you to a new paradigm. Oh, how the world is rapidly  changing… 

The Sun and Moon in Taurus are ruled by Venus in Pisces, which is exalted, seeking peace,  beauty, harmony, stability and is grounded in simplicity. Taurus is a builder, moving slowly 

and steadily with a plan. It is the energy of practical obedience, attuned to Inner Guidance,  aligned with the heart to manifest security and abundance – and it is supported all week by  Uranus sextile the North Node, seeking new paths for future opportunities. 

Taurus loves comfort and pleasure (one of their superpowers), which doesn’t have to be  expensive or fancy. They love food that tastes good, soft pillows, sheets, towels and comfy  furniture, as well as flowers, farmer’s markets and their favorite coTee mug and fresh  veggies or (fill in the blank). Do what makes you feel good. 

Walk in the park, dig in the garden, listen to your favorite music – anything that stimulates  your senses. Taurus is tactile and loves touch. Have a massage or reflexology, take a bath  with epsom salts and essential oils, put coconut oil lovingly on your body. You get the idea.  Pamper your Self in a way that’s right for you. 

Venus in Pisces rules this New Moon, so women may figure in your New Moon rituals,  relationships may play a part or it may be beauty that is highlighted. Write your New Moon  Intentions after the Moon is New and place them on your altar where you see them (and say  them) every day when you do your meditation. 

April 30 – Venus in Aries. Venus returns to Aries, where it was in Feb – late March, then it  Retrograded back into Pisces and it’s here until June 6. After flowing and dreaming, Venus  is ready to go and fulfill her desires. But she’s still recovering her shadow until May 10,  retracing what what happening in Feb and March before she lands in new territory later in  May. Nevertheless, Venus will be hot to trot, on fire to do something! 

May 1 – Beltane. This is the mid-point between the Spring Equinox and Summer Solstice, a  time of fertility, abundance and sacred union. Transformational powers are released,  allowing you to break free of old patterns and renew your commitment to the earth and to  the deepest parts of your Self. 

May Day honors the Goddess Maia, who the month is named for. The May Day festival  celebrates the power of flowers and flower essences, while rituals include gathering  flowers for baskets and Maypole dancing, and the Maypole centers the group to receive the earth spirit. 

The week begins with a jolt of sorts, the completion of the Mars-Pluto oppositions that can  elevate us to a new awareness if our (third) eye is open – and after that, we are blessed with  a beautiful New SuperMoon in old school Taurus, bringing us down to earth to bask in what 

is real in the material world. 

Do yourself a favor and step away from your computer screen, put down your phone and go  outside in the sunshine. Or take a walk in the rain, watch the animals that live in your area,  enjoy the natural habitat – the grass, the river, the trees, whatever is there. Nature is a  precious gift – this is a time to honor and bless it. 

Center yourself and do Taurus practices. Earthing is the process of absorbing earth’s free  flowing electrons from its surface through the soles of ones’ feet. This will help you to  stabilize you as you disconnect from old beliefs, structures and paradigms. Earthing mats  are a substitute if you can’t walk on grass (google it). 

You are clearing space for the incoming frequencies and creations that will continue to  arrive. What a time to be alive and a bridge between the old and the new world!

What a mix of energies we have with Venus, Saturn and the North Node all in watery Pisces still facing endings and completions, as Mercury and Neptune percolate in fiery Aries, awakening to new frequencies and paths of opportunities – while Mars in Leo prepares to lead the way. 

 

Mercury in Aries is usually clear, focused and buzzing with ideas, ready to go – but conjoined with Neptune (Ruler of Pisces) it diffuses the energy and clarity, perhaps the vitality and you may not be able to fully trust the data and info you get. It’s great for spiritual, creative and compassionate energy, but not left-brained linear facts or even your perspective, which may be skewed under the dreamy ideals of Neptune.

 

You may feel stirrings of readiness to begin, but we’re still in the shadow zones (previously traveled areas) of the Retrogrades (Venus, Mercury, Mars) before we’ll arrive in territory where we’re free to create anew. We’re thisclose, but not there yet…

 

April 18 – Mars is finally back in Leo after many months in Cancer and a long Retrograde that made life feel sluggish, progress often challenging, and may have tested your patience. Mars (warrior) is approaching its third opposition with powerful Pluto on April 26 and the impending tension and volatility will be felt increasingly all week. Mars in Leo is creative, passionate and will take bold actions to fulfill a goal and see it through. But first it’s handling anything that needs correction, attention or cleanup from the Retrograde, with this renewed lifeforce energy.

 

April 19 – Sun in Taurus. This practical sign rules the Earth, your body, the physical world, your values and how you value yourself, as the Sun in Taurus helps to ground the dominant emotional energy. This invites you to focus on security, comfort and pleasure, whatever that is for you – such as, back to basics. Good food, relaxation, slow down and enjoy the simple pleasures when you can and unplug from your technology. 

 

Taurus is an anti-drama sign so this is a call to choose peace and deliberate actions, as well as impeccable Self-care. Hug a tree, enjoy nature, smell the flowers and walk barefoot on the earth if you can. Drop into your body as the antidote for a busy mind and let it speak to you. What does your body want? If you ask, it will let you know… 

 

April 19 – Mars trine Neptune. This is Wu Wei energy or the law of least effort, taking action by flowing around obstacles and aligning with the natural order of life. Sometimes Mars-Neptune will take a stand for those with less power. You will know where you’re meant to be if you listen to your inner voice. But don’t force anything; always harmonize with intention of flow.

 

April 20 – Easter Sunday brings three aspects. Here’s the breakdown:

 

Venus sextile Uranus. Unexpected blessings or gifts, creative expressions, love, $$ surprises, innovations, new attractions, style, spontaneous meetings – anything delightful and positive that is liberating, quirky, unplanned, uplifting and stimulating! A sparkly meeting with a new person?

 

Mercury sextile Pluto. Deep conversations and connections, secrets revealed, detective work, potential breakthroughs if you are introspective, problem solving, hidden agendas and truthtelling. There may be sharing that becomes intense or life-changing, deep bonds can be formed around what is shared. Maybe you meet someone special and have a spark (Venus-Uranus) and dive into a deep connection that opens parts of you or them that is healing or bonding. Just a thought…

 

Sun square Mars. A high energy aspect that can bring motivation, passion, conflict or a breakthrough depending on how the energy is channeled (drive or overdrive). You can accomplish something that takes a lot of energy. It can start out as an attraction that turns to irritation if the other doesn’t act the way you want them to – or you may think they’re pushy (or you are). Maybe you have an argument and get things out in the open that needed to be said – and then you can process. You can channel this into a physical workout to discharge the energy – or be careful who you are around during the evening, as it could devolve into a spat.

 

April 21 – Saturn conjunct North Node in Pisces. This is a spiritual turning point, as old beliefs and illusions are released. This is following the path that Neptune already traveled over the final degrees of Pisces, bringing you to face that which must end if there’s anything you’re hanging on to. If so, it’s been in your space for a while, but now you’ll see why it must go. More will be revealed as the month unfolds.

 

April 23 – Sun square Pluto. This can bring up power dynamics and power struggles, control issues, obsessive tendencies and shadowy behaviors. What is rumbling underground for you that wants to be seen or heard (if anything) regarding your power? Pay attention if some hidden aspect of Self is trying to emerge, where you’ve given your power away – or where your the controller. The opportunity is for clearing via personal work with introspection, honesty and vulnerability in a therapeutic (safe) setting and to be mindful in public, knowing that the vibe is potentially combustible, with people being touchy and easily triggered.

 

Mars, Pluto, Sun T-square: Mars opposes Pluto and both square the Sun, which is like a grenade waiting for someone to pull the pin. Be mindful, move slowly, be kind. Don’t ask for trouble. Think before you speak or write an email or post online – and if you have anything come up, know that something within you is crying out for attention. Listen!

 

April 24 – Venus conjunct Saturn. The third meeting brings some evolution around relationships, $$, values or how you value your Self. Saturn is about commitment, where your boundaries are, what’s acceptable what is no longer working. You should have arrived in a place that feels right for you – and if you need to make a break or set limits, now is the time. With Saturn, it’s a make it or break it time. You either commit or you end it; no wishy-washy halfway stuff. 

 

This is an action-packed week, with so much happening. It takes great faith to trust your Inner Guidance to lead you into uncharted territory, especially during turbulent times. But don’t buy into the drama – it is a distraction meant to keep you off-balance.

Neptune at 0º Aries is initiating activity that creates movement and contraction in the collective, as radical changes can destabilize existing structures and 3D operating systems (including yours). Because Neptune is involved reality and resistance are a little floaty and blurry, making it hard to find your footing or get clear about what’s happening (one foot forward, one foot back).

 

Part of the mental confusion has to do with Mercury Retrograde in Pisces that’s downshifting to stop and turn Direct on April 7, inviting you to attune to your inner guidance for direction or clarity. Mercury is near the North Node in Pisces, which may bring fated messages or ideas through – and if so, pay attention. 

 

April 4 – Saturn trine Mars, Saturn sextile Uranus, Mars sextile Uranus. This three-way configuration is known as a Minor Grand Trine and is very beneficial. Watch the magic unfold! 

 

Saturn trine Mars. Patience, methodical actions, building, strategic efforts that lead to results that unfold later. 

 

Saturn sextile Uranus. This is exact today and will be operational for much of the year, supporting creative balance between the old and new, allowing for risk, innovation and experimentation, while maintaining stability. 

 

Mars sextile Uranus. A fresh approach, new interest or discovery, a spark or aspect of Self may be revealed that’s been dormant (very exciting!), and you may have a download that opens doors for you. If you feel impulsive, Saturn is grounding, as it helps to balance excitement with reason, but Mars-Uranus can give you the impetus to try things that the “old you” normally wouldn’t and help you break out of the box! 

 

April 6 – Sun sextile Jupiter. Supports confidence, well being, blessings, envisioning a bigger picture and the inspiration to follow through with action – or a day of enjoyment. It’s a harmonious, expansive day. 

 

Venus trine Mars. A creative, social day, good for dating, romance, relating and artistic collaborations. 

 

April 7 – Mercury Stations Direct. As always, when Mercury stops to change direction it can feel like nothing is happening – or it can feel like Mercury Retro on steroids (with lots of snafus) – and with Mercury in Pisces, a dreamy sign, it’s not good for details or linear thinking. Move carefully today and know that it will take about a week before Mercury picks up steam.

 

New info will come to light that will inform what you are planning, working on, thinking about – and you will receive new insights that will empower your decision-making. But things will really shift mentally when Mercury enters Aries on April 16 and you will have much more clarity, energy and passion for projects.

 

With Mercury conjunct Saturn, you may notice what’s wrong or missing, but Mercury is also sextile Uranus and trine Mars, so there are other perspectives through which you can find relief from any heaviness if you are creative and flexible and if you seek alternative solutions. Or you may create a plan and be able to implement an innovative way to make it happen.

 

Venus Retrograde conjunct Saturn. Consider how you value your Self, your money, your relationships, your desires and all aspects regarding your quality of life – and what you want to change, if anything. Decide what needs an upgrade or attention, restructuring or renewal. Start with your Self, the center of it ALL – and your boundaries: what you will and won’t allow. Be aware of any course corrections that are needed to honor your beautiful Self, as there will be a final check in on April 24 when Venus is Direct to see where you are and how you’re doing. 

 

April 8 – Venus Retrograde sextile Uranus. Creative solutions are on the menu for anything that came up in the Venus-Saturn check in yesterday, but no cosmetic surgery, tattoos, anything permanent or big decisions during Venus Retrograde (as a rule), b/c when it goes Direct, you may have a different mindset and see things in a new light or through a new lens. Just make a plan or brainstorm.

 

April 12 – Full Moon in Libra 5:22pm PDT. A Full Moon is the culmination of things or when things come to light, so notice what comes to fruition now, either in the form of a creation or an ending. The Libra-Aries axis addresses relationships and the compromises necessary to maintain them vs. your personal will and desires. If anything needs correction for you and your relationships, be proactive and responsible for the way you interact with others and move through life. 

 

The Libra Moon is “we” energy and the Aries Sun is “Me.” The Sun conjoins Chiron (Wounded Healer / Spiritual Teacher Archetype) in Aries. This can activate issues around reticence, trusting your Authority or fear-based issues in general. Take inventory of your codependent tendencies to see if you’re betraying yourself by seeking permission, agreement or approval rather than honoring your truth. Whatever you find is here to be seen and lovingly integrated. 

 

April 12 – The Ruler of the Full Moon in Libra is Venus in Pisces, which is exalted. The main expression of Venus is love, beauty, relationships and money – all charged areas that are not only deeply personal issues, but that also have the potential for extraordinary transformation and in Pisces, transcendence. This is the gift – to rise from the lower expression of an energy into its higher expression. People will treat you the way you treat yourself, so treat yourself with respect, dignity and tender loving care. You are important.

 

You are “in process” in this unfamiliar chapter of personal and collective evolution, in which you are called to feel your way through life, allowing your inner guidance to direct you as you take your next steps. This process can be anxiety-provoking if you aren’t connected to your Inner Authority, meaning, that in order to feel any degree of comfort you must trust yourself and be aligned with your Higher Self or Inner Guidance.

 

We have a stellium (group) of nonlinear planets in Pisces inviting you to attune to Spirit on one hand and the Sun conjunct Chiron (Master Healer) in Aries on the other, asking you to step into your will, independent spirit and Truth, and address any places in which you have sacrificed your integrity for the sake of harmony. It’s time to shake off old passive identities and take a stand for your Evolving Self, whatever that means for you right now. 

 

April 16 – Mercury in Aries. Clarity, direct communications, mental alertness and quick decisions. Lively conversations, reach out and make those calls, take actions. You (and others) will have a lot to say!

 

Mercury conjunct Neptune. Creative writing, channeling, intuitive communications, composition, writing music, singing, toning, chanting, automatic writing and heartfelt networking in flow. 

 

April 17 – Mars in Leo. Finally! Mars leaves emotional Cancer for bold, courageous Leo – decisive, acting with heart and a solid plan, comfortable with leadership and ready to deal with something you may have left behind last year. This should give you a great boost of energy and renewed motivation going forward. 

 

There is so much activity in the first half of the month, but we won’t really be free action-wise until Mercury and Venus both turn Direct after April 12 – and then when Mars moves from Cancer into Leo we will really feel energized. 

 

Recognize that the Pisces planets are inviting you to process on the inner planes intuitively, to withdraw from the noisy world in order to rest your mind, commune with your Inner Guidance to see what comes through. Saturn is there with a reality check or quality control, testing for viability, as well as the North Node of Destiny with fated downloads, meetings and messages. There is so much happening, even though it’s often via the subtle bodies and in flow…

 

The Sun, Chiron and Neptune in Aries invite you to take actions toward your independence, honoring your truth and trusting your Self. One foot in the inner world – one foot in the outer world, each working on your behalf in various ways for your Greater Good. You’re being workshopped and reconfigured as new frequencies are incoming. What a time to be alive and a bridge between the old and the new world!
