We are in the midst of a fertile and dynamic cosmic alignment that will continue from the Aug 9 Full Moon to Mercury Stationing Direct on Aug 11. The energy is ripe with possibilities—twists, turns, illuminations and disclosures. However, you may feel as if you’ve been stretched to the limit of what you can handle with all the changes you’ve been asked to accept, incorporate and integrate into your life lately. The purpose is for you to gain clarity about where you belong and to make any needed course corrections as you realign your life.

Aug 9 – Full Moon at 17º Aquarius @ 12:55am PDT. Aquarius is rebellion, independence, revolution, innovation, authenticity, social networks, organizations, the Greater Good and your tribe. It is the objective observer or the innovator who midwifes visionary ideas and solutions. Aquarius is ruled by Uranus, the Great Awakener, who can liberate you from the treadmill of the mundane, break up stagnant energy and stimulate your Higher Mind. 

The Leo Sun rules your creative expression whereas, Aquarius rules your place in community, your genius and Authentic Self. Are you ready for change? If you are stuck in a role that masks your brilliance or if you feel limited or trapped in a lifestyle rut, it’s time for greater freedom and something new. The goal is for you to express your Self freely and fully, to move into your next meaningful contribution.

Aquarius is your tribe, and our tribes are shifting. Attachments can dissolve due to current events, personal growth and the fallout that results. The tribe(s) you once belonged to may have changed and you may be “in between,” as the old no longer resonates and your new community has yet to appear. As you can depend less on external structures that are collapsing or prove to be misaligned for you, you are called inward for peace, stability and to attune to your Inner Guidance for direction.

This Full Moon contains a Kite and Mystic Rectangle. A Kite is a Grand Trine (a 3-way harmonious triangle) with one point of the trine making an opposition. The opposition activates the whole creative configuration, due to the tension involved. 

Kite: Mars, Uranus and Pluto are all trining each other in air signs, creating an eclectic mix of strategies, negotiations, compromise, liberation, innovation and transformation working together. Explore “out of the box” ideas, have conversations, reach out and network with others to generate possibilities and to brainstorm. Try something different, be open to the unexpected and embrace the unknown. 

Mars in Libra opposite Saturn-Neptune in Aries. This can instigate frustration or endings in relationships, obstacles when taking action (a no-go or extra work?) in order to pursue your dream. There are many possibilities with this Kite, but Mars opposite Saturn-Neptune is where a growth piece or revelation will be. 

Just remember, Uranus and Pluto are supporting Saturn-Neptune and Mars, so look for side doors, allies or powerful people who will show up for you. Maybe you need to step further into your Authority (Saturn) and power (Pluto) and show up for yourself.

Mystic Rectangle: two oppositions and two sextiles. Mercury opposite Pluto, Mars opposite Saturn-Neptune. Mercury sextiles Mars and Saturn-Neptune sextiles Pluto. 

Stationing Mercury opposing Pluto can indicate being pressured into silence, a whistleblower or disclosures that change the playing field permanently. Mercury-Pluto can empower your vision if you use your 3rd eye to see, or you can create a breakthrough via personal work. It can transform the way you process, communicate and view the world – as Mars, Uranus, Neptune and Saturn are all supporting Mercury in creating alternative viewpoints, strategies and ways of attuning.

Mars opposing Neptune occurs later in the day, and now you may either move gently (Wu Wei), use your imagination or rest. You may feel overwhelmed or exhausted. If so, don’t push, honor your body’s messages and allow yourself the care you need to decompress, find peace and rejuvenate. 

Aug 10 – Mars trine Pluto. This is a make it happen day. You may feel driven to engage with others, to be part of a group (air signs Libra – Aquarius), to gather for a higher purpose or to solve a problem. Mars-Pluto is highly motivated with tremendous stamina, so if you want to accomplish something, this is your day.

Aug 11 – Mercury Stations Direct. This is a standstill energy, preparing to move forward as the days unfold. Daily life should pick up after a few days, with new info coming to light, as well as a fresh outlook and plan based on all you learned and experienced during Retrograde, and now, Mercury’s forward motion. 

Saturn sextile Uranus.This brings creative balance between the old and the new, it supports discipline, action and patience that leads to change – and it can help you reboot, with Uranus sparking new ideas, attitudes, conversations and connections. What you think is keeping you safe may be keeping you stuck, so be willing to consider other scenarios.

Aug 12 – Jupiter conjunct Venus in Cancer. The the two benefics align in a sign that’s deeply emotional, nurturing and connected to home, family, food and security. This is warm and fuzzy, loving, caring energy and sweet blessings. Jupiter-Venus in Cancer is affectionate and sentimental, generous, supportive and creative. Bless those you care about and see what appears for you. Enjoy this beautiful day. 

Aug 14 – Mercury sextile Mars. This will be in effect through Aug 17 due to Mercury barely moving. This indicates quick, confident decisions and communications. You have the facts now and are ready to take decisive action with clarity and conviction. Make this most of this productive energy! 

What a week this will be. Focus on your Evolving Self and whatever sparks your interest, as you practice embracing the unknown with faith in Divine Order and Divine Timing.

Trust that the endings are for your Highest Good and stay awake for opportunities and new doors that open.

We’re in the midst of a revolution, which requires faith, courage, vision and acceptance of your experience in order to navigate consciously. Everything you’ve been through has prepared you to be here now, just as you are, to engage with our rapidly evolving world.

You are learning to ride the (air)waves and detach from drama, while focusing on that which is yours to do. These are powerful, high level practices that will serve you well going forward, the more you are able to master them.

Saturn and Neptune are Retrograde at 1º Aries, just past the World Axis (0º Aries), the beginning of the zodiac. They’ve been hovering at 0º, 1º, 2º Aries in harmony with Pluto in Aquarius for the past few months, fueling the ongoing reconfiguration of our foundations, instituting new rules, blurring boundaries and truth.

With Uranus entering Gemini in July, the pace kicked in to high gear and now it feels like we’re moving at warp speed. Rest and renewal is crucial to healthy functioning with these high frequencies (as much as possible), which is one of the gifts of Mercury Retrograde. Give yourself a break whenever possible.

Aug 1 – Venus square Saturn and Neptune. With Venus in warm and fuzzy Cancer, it seeks care and emotional connection, preferably in a cozy setting where you can commune without disruption. But with Saturn-Neptune in Aries squaring Venus, you may get a reality check (Saturn) that brings you down to earth with a thud, in conflict with your dream (Neptune).

You may feel disillusioned by an obstacle, delay, rejection or ending that seems final, but with Neptune in the mix, you may not know the whole story. The old dream may no longer be viable, but stay open to new downloads or visions appearing. Don’t give up on your dreams, but be willing to adapt – and get the facts so you’re operating based on what is real.

Also, Saturn-Neptune square Venus can leave you feeling lonely or empty and seeking solace via healthy or unhealthy methods. Food, shopping, dicey relationships (who’s available vs. who is good for you), or drugs/alcohol may soothe you in the moment, but if you abandon yourself by pursuing an indulgence, it’s counterproductive. If you find yourself feeling down, go where it’s warm (loving) and choose spiritual practices or being in nature for peace and serenity.

Aug 2 – Venus quincunx Pluto. Venus in emotional Cancer and Pluto in techno-futuristic Aquarius meet in a way that is challenging for this Venus with all its feelings–and annoying to this Pluto that is Spock-like. Pluto in Aquarius is emotionally detached and Venus wants comfort, which can create manipulation in relationships, power struggles or financial mistakes. If you utilize the energy deliberately, it is great for healing, shamanic and shadow work—unearthing unconscious patterns for your awareness and liberation. Easy does it today unless you choose to go into the deep for therapeutic exploration or discovery.

Aug 6 – Mars in Libra. Mars (warrior, pioneer, maverick) in Libra is a diplomat, seeking movement, peace, harmony and solutions via ideas, relationships and strategies, rather than via aggression. Libra is the opposite of Mars’ home sign of Aries, so it’s an unnatural energy for pushy Mars to operate in, especially when it’s seeking agreement and doesn’t want to rock the boat. This slows Mars down, as Libra can see various perspectives, but that can interfere with decision-making. Also, Mars in Libra runs the risk of sacrificing its own agenda to avoid conflict (totally anti-Mars behavior); Mars is not meant to be a people-pleaser.

As Mars enters Libra, it’s in a harmonious Grand Air Trine with Uranus in Gemini and Pluto in Aquarius, activating communication, info and networking that facilitates innovation, negotiations and agreements. Very fertile! But Mars in Libra also opposes Saturn-Neptune in Aries, forming a kite configuration (as part of the Grand Trine), and the opposition is where there will likely be stalemates or disagreements.

This can show up in your personal life and it will play out on the world stage. We have a Full Moon in Aquarius on August 9 that highlights authenticity and the Greater Good, but Mars opposite Saturn and Neptune during the Full Moon indicates conflict with avenues of opportunity available at the same time.

Once Mars enters Libra, the opposition to Saturn-Neptune will be activated and the emotional energy will continue to rise as we approach the Full Moon in Aquarius, as it always does on every Full Moon. I will go into more depth on this next week, but be assured that more really will be revealed in the coming weeks.

Take good care of yourself, tend to your heart and stay open to opportunities and possibilities. They will present themselves in Divine Timing, as the cosmos is beaming fertile frequencies to us with the outer planets joined in harmony. This is a profound experience that we’ve never experienced before so we’re all new on this path of discovery.

We are in the wake of the creative New Moon in Leo opposed by Pluto, a dynamic new beginning that contained an ending, power struggle or major shift that is permanent – and will ultimately set you free. Although endings can be challenging, they occur to propel you forward, whether externally, or at the least, internally, into the new world.

With Mercury Retrograde through Aug 11, you may be revising plans, projects, purging toxic substances and habits to fortify your body, clearing clutter and reconsidering ideas about yourself, how you want to live and what you are here to contribute. It’s a precious time for a slowdown; for a second look through a new lens of creativity, intuition and wisdom.

July 28 – Venus sextile Chiron (The Wound / Master Healer). This is an opportunity to address heart wounds and to facilitate gentle emotional breakthroughs regarding love, relationships and worthiness issues. Your quality of life is determined by what you believe about yourself and what you’ll allow yourself to be, do and receive (a Venus issue).

Anything that hurts or limits you is ripe for healing, so if you’re in operating in victimhood or resistance to blessings, a forgiveness practice can liberate you. Try Ho’Oponopono or Radical Forgiveness, which both contain a profound level of accountability. An open heart and clear conscience is the goal and the gift.

Ho’Oponopono:
I’m sorry – Something in your consciousness has created a problem or imbalance.

Please forgive me – Requests cleansing or release from that memory, thought, or energy.

Thank you – Expresses gratitude for the opportunity to heal or for Divine support.

I love you – Sends love to the situation, the person and yourself, affirming your Oneness with All That Is.

The question is: How good can you stand it? Use this as a spiritual practice to stretch your “receiving” muscle and Self-love. Be willing to integrate any patterns (beliefs) you are carrying that interferes with love, abundance, ease, joy and blessings.

If you need deeper work, make this a beginning and find the support you need. The next level is unconditional love and compassion for everyone, remembering that we are all human, complicated and connected as One. Separation is an illusion.

July 30 – Chiron Retrograde. Chiron is in Aries, the sign of your identity. This is a powerful 5-month period when you can go within and explore the ways you hide or hold yourself as deficient in order to release yourself from bondage. It is doable.

You are likely aware of your core wounds, areas that you’ve spent time and attention seeking to heal, evolve or mask – and here you are again, to go even deeper.

It’s time to integrate old beliefs and heal trauma that’s been held in place for years and creates shame or a false narrative about who you are so you can live freely, available for the future. And knowing your story is not the healing; healing is when you no longer carry the old identity that held the pain.

Also, your healing is not just for you, it’s your research and development for how you will help others should you choose to. Know that your past is not a mistake, but your awakening is imperative!

July 30-Aug 24 – Venus in Cancer. With the planet of love in nurturing Cancer, the collective energy shifts toward emotional connections, tenderness and a desire for security in relationships. This highlights family (of blood or choice), home cooking and homemade acts of love, financial security, intimate connections and sentimental keepsakes.

For Venus in Cancer, love = care and honoring the past – your ancestors, lineage and traditions. Enjoy the warmth and sweetness all that you can.

July 31 – Mercury Retrograde Cazimi in Leo. The Sun conjunct Mercury Retrograde (Cazimi), is at the midpoint of its Retrograde journey. Insights, wisdom, epiphanies and awakenings can come through subtle messages or conversations to guide you on your soul’s path.

Watch for signs and synchronicities as you create sacred space to listen, journal and open to messages that are meaningful for you. Anything that enhances your clarity is a blessing and a Divine gift.

This week highlights healing, loving connections and awakening as the world continues to transform, releasing the old with new paradigms emerging rapidly. If fear is inhibiting your process, this is a good time to focus on healing and integrating it so you are free to move forward without feeling paralyzed by patterns that are controlling you.

You can choose to do or not do something, but if fear rules you, anything new can feel too scary and then you don’t have a choice.

You need to be able and willing to step into the new emerging world that is being created, moment by moment, to share your gifts and discover the magic that awaits us. It may be bumpy getting there, but you agreed to be here now, to be part of this profound turning. The challenging part is always before you let go, but we’re in it together.

The Sun is in the final degrees of Cancer, with Mercury Retrograde in Leo through Aug 10, inviting you to reevaluate your Self-expression and how you’re showing up. Aside from the usual Mercury Retro tech glitches and mixed messages, it’s time to release old attitudes, ideas and ways of communicating that no longer honor, serve or resonate with your Evolving Self. Release your old stories and practice speaking as your soulful Self rather than through your programming. 

July 19 – Sun square Chiron. You may experience an old wound and integrate a familiar (protective) identity by awakening to a new level of awareness, and access the courage to change that sets you free. Anything that limits your Self-expression – fear of rejection, conformity, a need for approval – holds you hostage. This goes with Mercury Retro in Leo. Liberation is joyfully being your Self, without mental editing or apprehension. 

July 20-22 – Mars conjunct South Node in Virgo. The call is to drop the need for perfection, knowing all the steps in advance and over-reliance on the mind. The South Node is what you’re being asked to move on from – and in Virgo, it’s an analytical obsession with details, process, or being overly busy. Mars in Virgo on the S. Node can create frustration and burnout by exerting so much effort into every little thing that you miss the big picture. Or maybe there’s something else you’re meant to let go of in the way you’re operating. Go within to ponder what that might be…

July 21 – Venus square the Nodes of Fate. Are your values, relationships and desires in conflict with your growth and evolution? The North Node is in Pisces, experiential sign of Being, Oneness, intuition and compassion, is where you’re being called to. 

If your values or desires are in conflict with your soul, if you live in your mind or are attached to perfection, you are operating from programming that is Not You. Deconditioning is needed to detach from old patterns so your Authentic Self can emerge. Learning to trust your intuition and embrace the preciousness of who you truly are will alter your perspective and release you from indoctrinated beliefs about your Self and the world. This is a journey worth pursuing…

July 22 – Sun enters Leo. This radiant Sun joyfully expresses in its home sign and craves recognition, appreciation and calling the shots in some domain, whether personal, in community, or a public role. Leo is a performer, which is perfect if you’re an actor, professional presenter, or visible in some way. ‘Tis the season to let your light shine by boldly expressing yourself – and if you are called to lead, step up and take your place. It’s also a reminder to play – and if you’ve forgotten how, it’s time to recover your childhood delights and get in the game again. 

July 23 – Sun sextile Uranus. This stimulating aspect invites you to express yourself by opening to genius or revolutionary ideas from within and around you. New leaders are emerging and you may be one of them – or you may be shifting who you align with and listen to. There’s a whole new generation of emerging way-showers with innovative ideas, new messages and visions for the future. Allow yourself to shift beyond your old routine, come out of hiding and explore new edges. It’s that time. Uranus just arrived in Gemini and doors are opening to new worlds.

July 23 – Venus square Mars. Mars (actions) is conjunct the S. Node and Venus (values) is squaring Mars and the Nodes. Mars is adjusting and Venus is realigning as well, both in response to the Nodes. There’s so much going on in this configuration, but the solution is to tune in to your Inner Guidance to feel the higher expression of anything that is stuck, stale or non-working. This isn’t about linear solutions that you figure out mentally. You are required to rise to a new level of awareness and Being, guided by your heart and soul.

July 24 – New Moon in Leo @ 12:11pm PDT. The New Moon in Leo is usually time for new beginnings, but with Mercury Retrograde, we’e in a process of review and pressure, because of heavy Pluto in Aquarius opposing the Sun and Moon in Leo. You can expect power struggles, upheaval or major change, either personally or globally. It may expose hidden agendas, manipulation or covert actions, so tread mindfully and watch your (Mercury Retrograde) words. 

As Pluto opposes the New Moon, Saturn-Neptune trine the New Moon, restructuring in a supportive way (Saturn) and activating dreams or confusion (Neptune). Uranus is sextile the New Moon, offering a radical twist, insight or unexpected pathway that leads somewhere new. All this is tremendously fertile and dynamic, so let’s see how it plays out. 

What you do depends on where you are in your process. If you are already involved in a new project or direction, see what comes up for you, but if you’re seeking a new beginning, this is a time for attuning, brainstorming, clearing and making adjustments to prepare to move toward your vision. 

Write your intentions after the Moon is New and embody the position of the leader in your life, rather than reacting passively to circumstances. You have more creative potential than you may know.
