We are collectively in a quantum leap with Pluto in Aquarius, Neptune in Aries, and Saturn will join Neptune in Aries on Sunday, which is the next piece of the cosmic puzzle that is unfolding. We are witnesses and participants simultaneously, playing dual roles.
May 24 – Sun trine Pluto. This can give you stamina, it’s good for dealing with those in positions of power, and it’s helpful for tasks that require focus, depth, intuition and strength. Your magnetism can make a lasting impression on others – and your job is to stay in integrity when you are involved in persuasion, influence and affecting others with what you are creating. Be responsible for the energy you bring into the spaces you occupy and for who you’re dealing with.
Mercury is a busy bee this week, making five aspects (connections to other planets) and all are affecting your thinking, communication, perspective, connections and mindset, as you affect the others you touch – and we ALL contribute to the consciousness on the planet. How about social media and ChatGPT? Mercury is a quick, versatile, chatty connector and with the barrage of info upon us these days, it’s important to utilize Mercury productively to make it work FOR you, rather than to allow it to wear you down.
May 24 – Mercury conjunct Uranus. Uranus is the higher octave of mental Mercury and it can be genius, innovative ideas, psychic development, ETs – and this duo is prime time for problem solving, out of the box thinking and brainstorming. It can also bring unexpected messages, meetings, a change of mind, focus or elevated perspective. It’s a gift and you can use this to find alternative possibilities to stuck energy that feels more authentic for you. Uranus is your Authentic Self, so ask yourself, “What do I really want?”
May 25 – Sept ‘2025, mid-Feb ‘2026 – mid-April ‘2028. Saturn in Aries. Methodical Saturn leaves spiritual Pisces at the final degree of the zodiac, where you’ve had some endings – maybe major endings. Now it enters Aries, at 0º degrees of the zodiac – the World Axis (or World Point), that’s the beginning of The Beginning.
You have all summer with Saturn in Aries as it goes to almost 2º of Saturn and then it will back into Pisces in Sept for one final round until mid-Feb ‘2026. Saturn, Neptune and Uranus will move forward into radical new energy – and then back up for one final time into the old again. That’s 2025 and the beginning of 2026, one foot forward and one foot back for a last look around and cleanup. The new energy is much faster than the old, so fasten your seatbelt, but the opportunities are great, too. There’s something waiting for you.
So what does Saturn in Aries look like? It can have various manifestations, but let’s break down Saturn and Aries. Aries lives in the “now,” wants to be first, is impulsive, enthusiastic, energetic and travels solo. Get out of my way. Hot, fiery, a pioneer, maverick, warrior. Hot to trot, ready to go!
Saturn is security-oriented – cautious, thoughtful, with the long term in mind, will delay gratification to build something lasting, is responsible, ambitious, achievement-oriented, the elder, brings reality checks, rules time, standards and loves predictability, The Lord of Karma (you get back what you put in), The Inner Guru, Great Teacher (lessons). It is serious and rules commitment – often the boss, organizer or manager and it avoids risks. Saturn is your Inner Authority (trusting your Self) – that you’ll land on your feet, find a way and when you have an intention, you know that it is true for YOU.
Now put them together: Saturn can tame the Aries fire by forcing slowdowns, delays, creating obstacles so Aries can’t just take off without a plan. If Aries is fire, Saturn can be the wet blanket to put it out – or it can be the fire pit (container). It can be a youth or someone unprepared with heavy responsibilities placed on them – or a high energy, wild elder. You may be seeking security and find yourself in riskier situations than you expected. Aries is self-centered – it wants what it wants and Saturn won’t just indulge the ego. So decisions (Saturn) will be made about what you want, how you’re going to make it happen with integrity (Lord of Karma…).
Always seek the highest expression of both planets – where can you be passionate, enthusiastic and energetic while taking a realistic approach with a plan or clear next steps? Saturn can play it so safe, you never have much fun or move very far from home base. Aries can help Saturn stretch and take a little more risk than usual to have a new experience.
Try other combos of the qualities that involves the fire of Aries with the responsibility of Saturn. And – a new beginning, rather than more of what you’ve done before. You decide what that means for you – or get feedback if this is a blind spot for you. The possibilities are endless, but I trust that you’ll be led to what’s right for you if you are curious, open and trust yourself.
May 25-June 8. Mercury in Gemini. This is one of the two home signs of Mercury (Virgo is the other). Here it can express itself fully – flexible, chatty, info-seeking and sharing, connecting, light, airy, multi-tasking, social, networking. Feed your mind and social life with community that stimulates you and allows you to be seen, heard, connect and interact with others that feels good.
May 25 – Mercury sextile Saturn. Making dates, agreements, commitments, schedules, signing contracts, launching projects. It’s ideas and data with a structured plan that stabilizes it and brings it into form. A great day for business and decisions that you can count on as long as they are realistic. (Saturn just came into Aries today, so be mindful). Think everything through carefully.
May 26 – Memorial Day.
Mercury sextile Neptune. Creative thinking, artistic endeavors, enjoying music, art, creative writing, journaling, channeling, intuitive connections, spiritual counseling, spiritual practices, leisure or rest.
May 26 – New Moon in Gemini @ 8:02pm PDT. The New Moon in Gemini is the time for a new beginning and taking actions to activate your intentions. Write your New Moon Intentions in present time beginning with, “I will,” “I create,” “I have,” “I Am.” Journal for clarity and creativity to see what comes through if you feel stuck. There are new ideas just waiting for you discover them within you!
This New Moon in Gemini has Mercury in Gemini conjunct the Sun and Moon (lots of thinking, talking and connecting), Mercury trines Pluto (deep thinking) and Saturn-Neptune in Aries sextile Mercury, Sun, Moon in Gemini (major New Beginning energy). Remember, Saturn in Aries is on the World Axis, meaning a major beginning. What is that for you? If you’re swimming in your mind with no conclusions, go higher (journaling, movement, energetic or spiritual practices can open portals to higher consciousness and downloads).
Is there a conversation you need to have, a connection you’ve avoided, a bike ride you’ve been dreaming of, a book you want to read, or a class you want to take? Are you ready to create or update your website or is there info you need to obtain in order to make a decision? Are you ready to sign a contract or enter into an agreement? Do you need admin backup? Think about it (a Gemini activity) and take an action that will get the word out or attract what you need. Help yourself!
The New Moon trines Pluto, offering access to deep recesses within you that can reveal previously hidden gifts, talents, desires and aspects of Self if you go in there. If you have a dream or idea, this is an important time to take action to begin (between now and through early June). Even baby steps count – just begin. Don’t sell yourself short and get caught in fear-based overthinking that keeps you in confusion. Get a second opinion from a trusted advisor or mentor or utilize processes that bring you clarity.
May 29 – Mercury Cazimi the Sun. You have access to new info, ideas, clarity and illumination that moves you forward with wisdom and insight. Look for connections, conversations, and create space to go within for your own inner guidance and downloads. You are percolating! Also helpful for decisions, good for dealing with or making a tech purchase.
Although this is a busy week, it’s a supportive week filled with creative potential. All you have to do is get in the game! Please be curious about your Self and your life. Be willing to move beyond what’s familiar and trust that if it’s in your consciousness, there’s something there for You!
