April 2025 Full Moon in Libra, 8:22pm EDT

This is the last Full Moon of the wormhole, and features a full planetary line up.  The Moon is communing with Arcturus, bringing some big cosmic consciousness, while the Sun is communing with Chiron and Eris.  Inner disruption and core wounds are shining brightly in the light of the Sun, and the Moon and Arcturus are helping us with emotional healing and wholing.

The traditional dispositor of this Moon is Venus, who is stationing direct at 24 Pisces and part of a Pisces stellium with Mercury, the Soul Star Chakra (North Node), and Saturn.  In Cosmic Consciousness Sedna is the ruler of Libra.  Sedna represents a divine feminine who transcends and comes into wholeness.  This is exactly what the Full Moon is offering with Chiron and Eris sitting with the Sun.

Mars is forming an intersection with the Moon and Sun as well. Mars is still in Cancer in his retrograde shadow (he recovers his shadow around May 1st at 6 Leo).  Mars in Cancer is highlighting themes around the home, family, nurturing, and emotional power. Cancer is the sign of The Mother, and mother wounds may be showing up for purging at this time.   The Libra Moon is asking us to be aware of our reflection that we see in others, and to remember that we project ourselves onto those around us.  Libra/Aries is the relationship axis, where Libra is the mirrored self.  The key to using this moment is to stay aware that the reflections we see “out there” in others is a reflection of ourselves.   Chiron and Eris with the Sun may be reflecting our wounds back to us.  This is to catalyze us towards self-healing and wholing; remember everything happens for us, not to us.  As long as we project our pain onto others and refuse to own it, we won’t reclaim all of our parts of ourselves.

In addition to the Mars intersection, this lunation features a boomerang yod- The Moon/Arcturus is the fulcrum, while Uranus is in resource with Mercury/Venus/Soul Star/Saturn (remember that in a yod, or finger of God, the planets in resource form great eliminators with the fulcrum planet, creating tension).  The Sun/Chiron/Eris is the “release valve” of this boomerang yod.  So again, we are supported in tending to our unclaimed parts- those core wounds.  How do we do this?  Listen to the parts of yourself that are crying out.  Invite all parts back to yourself.  (The book “No Bad Parts” is a great resource for working with core wounds!)

The Nodes, Mars, Uranus, and Mercury/Venus/Saturn are also forming a cradle.  A cradle is a bridge (in this case, the Nodes as well as Mercury/Venus/Saturn) with resources in between the bridge (Mars and Uranus forms the resources to each other and the Nodes).  This configuration offers inspired action (Mars) and flashes of insight (Uranus) as to what we truly value.  The Earth Star (South Node) is the path we have already walked- the lessons we have learned, what we have mastered…our karma.  The Soul Star combined with Mercury, Venus and Saturn represents the area of growth in this lifetime.  Our values and hearts desires (Venus) are aligning with our mental body (Mercury) and Saturn is offering the discipline and commitment to this future growth.  So pay attention to what shows up right now- where do you feel compelled to take inspired action?   The energy here is flowing!  Where is the flow leading you?  Are you resisting, or going with it?

Jupiter, Ceres and Vesta- Jupiter is forming a stepping stone with Ceres and a great eliminator with Vesta, while Ceres and Vesta are manifesting with one another.  The manifestation supports the birthing of something and devotion to it, while the Jupiter aspects indicate a friction point- what needs to be eliminated or overcome as you move forward?  Orcus is bridging Ceres, indicating that this birthing and devotion is related to our higher self- our soul’s purpose as we entered this lifetime.  This may feel like something “bigger than you”, something that you are inexplicably called towards.  Or maybe it’s something you have always admired or wanted but never dared to consider…can you look a little deeper?  Often it’s only our fears and self-doubts that keep us tethered to what we know and unable to consider another future.  What if the reason you are admire or are drawn to something is because it is part of your destiny?

The wormhole ends April 27th.  Mercury recovers his shadow on April 25th, while Venus recovers her shadow May 1st as does Mars.   You have a few more weeks to process all that is occurring, but remember to stay open and allowing.  Wormholes can deliver us somewhere new, but we have to be willing to leave our safety net to get there!    The “yes, and” rule of improv comedy is coming to mind right now.  “No” is a knee-jerk reaction many of us have to anything outside our comfort zone…but “yes, and” opens us up to exploring.  It allows us to see options that were previously in our blind spots.   If a future path is calling you and you are afraid, practice looking at it from the “yes, and” lens.  “Yes, this scares me, and I want to consider it anyway.”  “Yes, I enjoy the secure income of this job, and I want to devote ‘x’ number of hours each week to this thing that gives me purpose.”  Let the Moon purge the emotions around your wounds, let yourself integrate and heal a bit, let Mercury and Venus bring a heart/mind alignment in regards to your purpose, and ask Saturn to help you build a routine.

Happy Full Moon!

The wormhole has opened and we have our first eclipse of 2025! The Full Moon features a total lunar eclipse at 23° Virgo, in which the Karmic (South) Node is communing with the Moon. In addition to this, we have a Pisces stellium with the Sun, Ceres, the Dharmic (North) Node, Saturn and Neptune all residing in the limitless realm.  What this feels like is an invitation to swim in the realm of possibility (Pisces stellium), even though our past doubts, hurts, and patterns (Karma/Moon in Virgo) will be calling our attention.  Our comfort zone will likely feel really good right now, but the wormhole is going to request that you move outside of it!

This Full Moon is disposed by Chiron, the wounded healer.  How does your core wound keep you engaged with the past?  Are you able to see a future where you have come into wholeness?  Allow yourself to visualize and most importantly, feel your way into that future.  Can you find a balance point between old doubts, fears, and pain and your evolution?  Maybe you are hyperfocusing on details to such an extent that you are talking yourself out of moving forward?  If this is the case, it can be helpful to remember that drilling down too deep while you are in the dreaming stage can result in talking yourself out of trying things.  Again, balance- details matter, but baby steps will get you to the finish line.

Most importantly, remember to reclaim joy.  Virgo energy gets stuff done, but don’t forget to step into the dream world (Pisces) and connect with your joy, passion, and inspiration.  How can you be in service in a more fulfilling way?

Uranus in inserting himself into the party via a resource with the Sun/Dharmic Node/Saturn, and a manifestation with the Moon/Karmic Node.  We are in a wormhole so anything can happen!  Flashes of insight can lead you down an unexpected path.  Stay open and ready to shift!

Mars, who is now moving forward again, is also still forming a resource with the Moon and is manifesting with the Sun, so we can feel some energy and momentum around this time.  What small steps can you take towards your dreams right now?  What would align your energy with these goals?

Virgo is the sign of inner alignment.  How can you clear all the internal blocks that keep you out of alignment with healing? What is blocking you from being your true, authentic self? What would help you balance your mind, heart, body and spirit?  Are you operating too much from your mental space, and need to get connected with spirit?  Do you need to move your body more frequently?  Have you connected with your heart recently?

With Saturn forming a bridge to the Virgo Moon, it may seem as though some external person or thing is restricting you.  It helps to remember that Saturn is the inner guru- the place where we own our authority and wisdom. With Saturn in Pisces, this is really a call to step into that part of yourself that is connected to your cosmic consciousness.

Mercury is stationing at this time, and will retrograde back to 27 Pisces, stationing direct on April 7th.  Mercury will not leave his shadow until April 26th, so we have six weeks to slow down our mental processes and review what is working and what isn’t.  Venus is also retrograde until April 12th, so now is the perfect time to align our heart and mind by really considering what our heart wants, and whether or not our thoughts are working for our against our heart’s desire.   Often, the mind’s desires to keep us safe works directly against what the heart wants.  Is the mind creating a problem that isn’t really there?  Is the mind fostering self-doubt?  This is the type of self-inquiry that will help make the most out of this retrograde cycle.

As we proceed through the wormhole, staying awake and centered will allow us to best navigate unexpected shifts and surprise turns.  The phrase “move or be moved” is coming to mind right now.  The wormhole can take you somewhere new and that can be a very good thing! Change can be wonderful, even if it’s scary.  Remember to claim your authority, and proceed with confidence in whatever direction you are moved.  Enjoy the ride!

Happy Full Moon in Leo!  Leo Full Moons can often bring great bursts of creativity and energy, and in this lunation we have a Sun/Mercury/Ceres conjunction to inspire us to birth something very “Aquarian”…something that connects us to oneness.  This Full Moon actually features a grand crossroads between the Moon in Leo, the Sun, Mercury and Ceres in Aquarius, Juno in Scorpio and Uranus in Taurus.  Grand crossroads always require us to get still and centered, so we can clearly see which way to go.    Remember that Uranus wants to awaken us via flashes of insight, and the best way to receive this information is be open to receiving.  If this Full Moon leaves us rattled and off-kilter we may miss the higher perspective from Uranus.  Take time to walk, take deep breaths, sit with a cup of tea…whatever it is that helps you center and ground.  Uranus may be what delivers the clear insight into what we want to birth (Ceres) and Juno will want us to fully commit to our idea.

Uranus is very busy, not just with the grand crossroad, but also with a manifestation with the Karmic (South) Node, a resource with Neptune and the Dharmic (North) Node, and in intimacy with Eris.  These are harmonious aspects so they are less likely to hit you over the head with impact, and again, it’s important to stay awake and aware so we can receive all the Uranus is offering us at this time.  You may clearly see how past behaviors and/or long-standing habits (Karmic Node) are hindering you as you desire to move forwards to your dreams (Dharma/Neptune).

The Moon is in a manifestation with Chiron and Eris (with the Moon exactly manifesting with Eris).  Our emotions and core wound(s) are flowing and this allows for a breakthrough in healing these wounds.  This is a good time to practice “reparenting” yourself, which is a practice of allowing yourself to process your feelings in a way that is empathetic and supportive. It’s likely not how you grew up experiencing feelings.  Many of us learned to avoid our feelings at all costs- to be strong and suppress them, or we get very anxious when we have any feelings that aren’t the “good” ones.  But without allowing ourselves to have and feel all emotions we are cutting ourselves off from the wholeness of life.  If painful feelings come up, hold yourself and give yourself compassion and space to feel.  You can hug yourself, or simply imagine loving arms around you as you sit in stillness.  The story around why you feel what you feel isn’t important (it just keeps the mental loop running)- it’s letting yourself just feel it all. Anger, sadness, grief…these are feelings we all experience and resisting them just makes it linger.

Saturn is still in a long manifestation with Mars retrograde. This was most recently exact on February 9th and will be exact again on April 4th/5th after Mars turns direct.  Whatever has been showing up for you around trusting your intuition and honoring your inner world (Saturn in Pisces) combined with taking action around nurturing, home and emotional security (Mars in Cancer) that began around the end of September will continue, and hopefully this time you can release resistance and begin to honor whatever Saturn is asking of you.

The planetary parade is still very much in effect and we are being called into alignment.  If we are in resistance, we are not in alignment.  We may find ourselves very suddenly on a path we weren’t expecting and maybe the changes are joyous, or maybe they are painful.  Remember that sometimes we have “ugly blessings”- events that look really bad at first glance but may lead us somewhere beautiful.  It’s not always easy to accept change but by making an effort to embrace it all as fully as we can, and remembering that miracles can and do occur, we can move into alignment and hopefully, inner peace.

Blessings,

Cari

Cancer Full Moon

January 13, 2025

5:27am EST

23 Cancer 59

Happy New Year and welcome to the first full moon of 2025!  This full moon, known as the Wolf Moon, occurs in Cancer and is communing with retrograde Mars.  Mars isn’t very comfortable in Cancer which can add to the emotional power of this time, not to mention that the Moon is in her own sign.  This lunation can offer plenty of opportunities to review the ways in which we take action around our home, families, and most importantly, ourselves.  Cancer is the sign of “the Mother”, and also the seat of emotional power.  A full moon in Cancer, even without the added bonus of Mars, is a time to complete cycles in which we neglect ourselves for the sake of others (a classic “Mother” theme!).  A nurturing home and family life starts with a mother who takes care of herself.  It also is vital that the Mother has a healthy relationship to emotion, and knows not only how to feel and let go, but to allow those around her to feel what they are feeling without judgment, shame, or attachment to an outcome.

Does this sound like a lot to unpack?  Well, most of the cosmos are conspiring to assist with understanding this theme.  This lunation features a Grand Resource, a Grand Crossroads, and the lunar nodes have just shifted into Virgo and Pisces.   The Grand Resource includes a Juno/Uranus bridge and the Nodes, with the Soul Star Chakra (North Node) communing with Neptune.  Pluto is in resource with the Soul Star and manifesting with the Earth Star (South Node).   The Grand Crossroads involves the Moon/Mars and the Sun on one axis, and Chiron/Eris and the Fixed Star Arcturus on the other.  Obviously the Chiron/Eris bridge with Arcturus is long lasting but the Full Moon is bringing it very much into focus.

The Grand Resource can bring flashes of insight and/or surprises (Uranus) around what we need to commit to (Juno).  The Soul Star and Neptune in Pisces bring a spiritual focus while the Earth Star in Virgo may show us where we’ve held on too long to perfectionism, criticism, and other overly nit-picky ways of being.  Are you doing just for the sake of doing?  Yes, we get those dopamine hits when we cross of items on our to-do list, but what is the meaning and intention behind those actions?  How we are showing up energetically (Being) is just as important as our actions.  The Soul Star and Neptune can guide you in regards to being in energetic alignment with your values and higher self.

Indulge in your dreamy side during this full moon. Sit in meditation, or go stand under the Moon and listen to what she has to say.  Involve water in some way- a bath, a cleansing shower, going near a body of water if they aren’t all frozen near you…Embrace the watery energy of this time and work with the water element instead of resisting where it wants to you to go.

The Grand Cardinal Crossroads allows for a very cosmic consciousness (Arcturus) to shed new understanding on core wounds and inner discomfort (Chiron/Eris).  How does this relate back to themes coming up for you around how you Mother yourself and those around you, and the conversation around emotional power?  That this is occurring in the Cardinal signs indicates that this is a time to notice where we give our power away, and reclaim it.  Move out of victim consciousness and into Creator consciousness.  What would it look like if our wounds were a source of empowerment?  How would it feel if we nurtured and cared for ourselves with the same loving kindness we extend to others?

Finally, Venus and Saturn are forming a stepping stone with Jupiter, and Venus and Saturn will start a new cycle in less than a week.  We have an opportunity to stand tall in our commitments to what matters most to us. Saturn is the Inner Guru and in Pisces, this is a fabulous time to work with our higher selves and create routines and habits that keep us connected to our higher consciousness.  Jupiter may be making it feel bigger than is really is, but stepping stones are designed to create friction that will provide the impetus to create change.  Venus is asking, “What matters most to you?  What are your values?” while Saturn wants to know “how are you going to show up in a way that aligns with these values?”

A final thought for this potent time-When emotion comes up, practice “reparenting” yourself.  If you were raised in an environment where you were not always treated with empathy or compassion, or where your emotions were invalidated, you may have a difficult time nurturing yourself.  When you are deep in any emotional state, practice treating yourself the way  you would treat a small, innocent child who is having a very hard time.  Give yourself the gift of empathy and kindness.  Be the safe space for yourself that you deserve.  This allows you to slowly heal the patterns of emotional suppression and self-judgment that you may be unknowingly carrying.

Many blessings!
