Full Moon 19 Virgo 37

1:48 pm

We can still see that vast, endless horizon we experienced with the Pisces New Moon as we move into the Virgo Full Moon. It is like sitting on a beach and shifting our gaze from the wide surface of the ocean to the grains of sand that comprise the shore. When we physically shift our vision like this—from the large to the tiny – we are mirroring the “zoom” lens effect of the polarity created by Pisces (our vision of the infinite) and Virgo (our focus on detail). Pisces/Virgo is such an interesting polarity because we use it all the time—for instance, we all have conversations where we leap from an open-ended topic to one that ends in definite steps. We use the “zoom lens” perspective simply by changing the focus of our thinking from the wide to the narrow. Without awareness of how the Pisces/Virgo zoom lens works, these two qualities of our consciousness can lead to exasperation (the big picture provides perspective) or frustration (without the details there is no big picture). The option for joy and fulfillment is always present, we just need remember that we can always shift our focus. Sometimes this can feel is effortless, and other times not. The key is to remember that all it takes is a deliberate decision to do so.

New Moon 4 Pisces 28

10:31 am EST

We have moved from the reflected light of the Leo Full Moon to the dark of the New Moon in Pisces. During this passage, in big and small ways we have generated a lot of drama. Some of this drama was played out with public figures; some of it with our work colleagues; and some within our private lives. We may have seen sides of people we did not know were there, and we may have seen things in ourselves we thought were long done with. All the better –the point was for our emotional responses to drama to be lit up so we could see them. Now we have moved to the New Moon, where we reset our emotions and begin again. We are in the Pisces portion of our consciousness, where we are reminded that we can feel anything we want, the choice is always, always ours. This is where we find there are no limits and no braking mechanism. This can feel disorienting, like flying through a cloud, or it can provide an expansive sense of relief if we enter this realm with faith. We can extend outward and yet still be at home.

Full Moon 20 Leo 00

2:33 am EST

It is fitting that all the discovery we had about unconditional LOVE for our Selves and humanity in all its guises through the Aquarian New Moon on January 24 is now mirrored back to us through a Leo Full Moon. Leo and Aquarius are in one of the more profound polarities within our Consciousness. It is where we experience life as a continuous blessing because it IS, moment to moment, and through this appreciation, experience unconditional LOVE. The Sun is always shining whether we are experiencing day or night, and it shines on everything equally.
This simple realization can seem to be too much, because we are here, after all, to experience duality in all its forms and return to Unity Consciousness with that experience intact. It is the great drama, and humanity has been aware of this for centuries upon centuries. We all become entirely engrossed in the play and are dismayed when someone else leaves the theatre because we cannot act out the same scenes with them again. The Leo/Aquarius polarity is all about appreciating without being appreciated and removing isolating barriers without knowing what will happen when we do this. For this Full Moon, the Sun is at 20 Aquarius, and the Full Moon is reflecting the full light of our Sun at 20 Leo. It is bright, reflected light, cast so we can work through our emotional responses to see what has manifested since the New Moon.

New Moon 4 Aquarius 21, end of the wormhole

4:41 pm EST

The passage from the Cancer Full Moon/partial solar eclipse had a real reverb effect. That Full Moon was all about where we really sit with our own sense of empowerment and inner authority. Please note—empowerment does not equal entitlement. Inner empowerment emerges when our feelings, emotions, thoughts, and highest aspirations are aligned. This is truly dharmic space, because of the clarity and neutrality we experience. We experience a “knowingness” that what is going on with us is authentic and we are fully behind it. Another note-authority does not mean superiority. Our inner authority stems from recognition that we have a right to each breath, and this in itself is the fuel that activates life.
Without breath, we are not here, because after we are born, no one else can breathe for us. We generate the power of lifeforce energy every time we breathe. Few people can stay conscious of this reality all the time and engage in everyday social life on Earth. Once seen or experienced, however, this Consciousness is nearly impossible to forget. Each time we stand on the observer’s perch on the Capricorn/Cancer bridge we have the opportunity to glimpse this Consciousness and ascend a bit more.
