Current Astro Events – March 15, 2024

Lisa E ZimmermanCall, Cosmic Consciousness Weekly

Written by Lisa E Zimmerman

There’s an abundance of activity this week as we depart the Sun in Pisces to launch into fiery Aries on the Spring Equinox as we welcome the Astrological New Year. All planets are in Direct motion for the rest of March, fueling momentous actions and wild card outcomes via the Eclipse wormhole (March 10 – May 7), propelling us forward in ways we hadn’t anticipated. Fasten your seatbelts, stay high and prepare for quantum leaps as we awaken to new possibilities.

March 17 – Sun conjunct Neptune opens portals to your imagination, creativity, dreams, spiritual practices, intuition and Divine connection. This is a perfect time for channeling and contemplating where you are, how far you’ve come and where you’re going. What are you ready to release? This is a completion energy, as Pisces is the final sign of the zodiac and we’re about to begin a major new cycle.

Sun-Neptune can fall into delusion by idealizing others (selective vision), can be very suggestible, can be susceptible to victimhood, depression, despair or disillusionment. Too high (fantasyland, escapism) or too low is a call for support.

However, this is a perfect day for rest, leisure, movies, quiet time or self-care. The invitation is to stay in Divine Love, compassion, intentional visions and insights – or you may drop into confusion, overwhelm and become easily manipulated by others or by AI. What is real? It will become harder and harder to know, as Neptune is the planet of illusion. When in doubt, trust your intuition (Mercury in clarifying Aries will help).

March 18 – Mercury conjunct North Node (Destiny). Mercury enters its shadow today, the territory it will retrace when it turns Retrograde on April 1, so whatever you encounter from now until then, you will be going back over it when Mercury is Retrograde.

Mercury-N. Node indicates new learning, thinking, processing or communicating in ways that will enhance your development, growth and evolution going forward. This may be a result of all you’ve been through over the past months and now you’re ready to make a plan, set a goal or move towards something. In late April, Mercury and the N. Node will meet up again post-Eclipses, but will still be within the Retrograde wormhole, so you can expect course corrections, new info, ideas and events. More will be revealed, so stay tuned…

March 19 – The Spring Equinox / Sun at 0o Aries 8:06pm PDT. This is the astrological new year, as well as the start of the Spring season, when day and night are equal in length. This is a rebirth, when Aries – sign of the maverick,

page1image37572256 page1image37572464

pioneer, warrior – is ready to initiate something. That’s Aries’ superpower, the courage and enthusiasm to start something – to take the initial steps to open doors or lay fresh tracks, so get ready to plant your dreams.

We are in the late degrees of Neptune, our beautiful life or idealized world – the vision of what we love. Pluto in Aquarius is forging a new path via space and the Higher Mind, challenging our linear understanding with new creations that affect our lives in practical ways. This can be disorienting or effortful, and yet you can feel you need to start something.

Maybe you know what you need to do and maybe you don’t. It’s not necessarily clear what your next steps are, but it’s important that you choose something to begin that you feel good about. In which part of your life do you need to do something? What do you need to address – and what actions can you take?

The good news is with Mercury Retrograde approaching in April, whatever you begin now, you’ll be making course corrections in April when Mercury retraces its steps, so you don’t have to have everything figured out. Plus, we have two Eclipses – a Lunar Eclipse on March 25 and a Solar Eclipse on April 8 – game changers that shake things up, so just focus on a new beginning. Set an intention and take an action.

March 20 – Mercury conjunct Chiron. Mercury and the Master Healer following the Equinox is perfect for non-violent communication, speaking or hearing healing words, making amends and the idea that sharing is caring. Try a little tenderness.

March 21 – Sun sextile Pluto. This can give you a boost to help you accomplish a challenging task or to focus on something that requires extra effort or motivation to deal with. This is a gift if you need drive, ambition and power to make something happen. Use it well.

Venus conjunct Saturn. This can go a few ways. Maybe you don’t get what you want, feel rejected or lonely, have $$ issues or you restructure a relationship, get a reality check (wake up call) – or have to do some work before you can enjoy a relationship, spend for a makeover or a renovation. A “give to get” deal, but worth it. However this plays out for you, it feels productive, will be worth the effort or wait, and is for the long term.

This week begins in soft, dreamy Pisces energy and ends in energetic, bold Aries energy. Big difference – and remember, we’re in an Eclipse wormhole, just weeks away from a Lunar Eclipse in Libra and anything can happen at any time. Since

emotions run high around eclipses, expect the unexpected, as well as fated events, and be flexible.

Don’t judge events that happen as “good” or “bad” because you don’t know the big picture yet. I will keep reminding you of this, because it’s so tempting to classify events and people for the sake of feeling as if you’re in control. We humans love to do that. Just watch, stay present and keep your heart open.

Focus on what you want to create, where you want to go, what you want to release – and know that you will land on your feet, no matter what. You have a mission to fulfill.

Stay open, show up. This is not the end of the story.

“I know there is confusion and doubt and what appears to be chaos. Can you see that beneath these surface shadows there is eternal Light? This earth plane is neither the beginning nor the end of your existence. It is simply a step, a schoolroom.” ~ Emmanuel, Pat Rodegast

“We’ve got to stop letting people, places and things stop affecting and infecting us.” ~ Deion Sanders, Coach Prime

As always, I am grateful for your presence on our journey together.

October 2023 Monthly Aspects

October 2023

October proves to be a very deep, alchemical month, with 4 planets shifting into Scorpio, the sign of transmutation, highest vision, and manifestation. There are 2 other sign changes, and 2 eclipses this month as well, whose sideways elevators take us to new places we never could have imagined—talk about transformation!

Haumea, who retrograded back into Libra in April, enters Scorpio again 10/1, this time for good. Scorpio is the creator part of our energy field. It’s here we create life itself, or bring what we envision into physical being. With Haumea here for the next 26 years, our capacity to create will increase exponentially. It remains to be seen how we will use this creative potential.

On the same day, the Sun-Pallas new cycle occurs, making a Lightbridge with Salacia; we have access to the divine feminine wisdom of letting things be as they are, and finding the joy in that.  The following day, 10/2, the Sun meets MakeMake, the 2nd personal planet to do so, making us aware of the higher universal laws. It’s Pallas’ turn next, greeting MakeMake on 10/3.

Between 10/3 and 10/4 Mars makes a triple new cycle with Arcturus and the Earth Star Chakra (karmic South Node). Old wounds stored in the body may come up for clearing, but new discoveries are possible too, especially those dealing with health or our place in the cosmos. Mars enters Scorpio 10/12, and immediately conjoins Haumea in a new cycle of creativity that could involve physical actions such as dance, theater or sports. By 10/29 Mercury has made it over to Mars for a new cycle of mind-body integration.

Mercury is having another busy month. Moving swiftly, the Great Messenger enters Libra 10/4 and becomes one of a 7-part stellium. On 10/9 Mercury has his turn with the waiting MakeMake for a new cycle of turning our thoughts to the unequivocal higher laws that govern us all. The Mercury-Pallas new cycle 10/12 aids us in thinking objectively and collaboratively; it’s the last of 2 prior conjunctions. The following day our mental operating systems become imbued with intensity as Mercury enters the via combusta. He makes his own new cycles with Arcturus and the S. Node 10/18-19. First, we feel these connections in our bodies, then we become conscious of them and can think about what they mean, keeping in mind the Lightbridge with the Soul Star and Eris. This can prove to be a disruptive time, but although it might be uncomfortable, it doesn’t have to be negative.

According to Cosmic Consciousness, the Sun and Mercury hold the energies of the divine masculine, and when they come together in a superior conjunction 10/20, there is a balance of those energies. Then Mercury runs ahead. On 10/22, after only 18 days in the sign of the Mirrored Self, Mercury enters Scorpio and conjoins with Haumea. By 10/29 he meets Mars for a strengthening of the mind-body connection. What we think can manifest in the body. The body can also provide validation–or not–for some of our visions; then we’ll know how to proceed. Mercury leaves the via combusta 10/31.

Returning to the Sun’s journey, he enters the Fiery Way 10/8, and we might feel the energies step up a bit. The bridge with Chiron can help soften that somewhat. On 10/14 the Sun and Moon come together for the New Moon annular solar eclipse in Libra, just 3° away from the Earth Star Chakra and Arcturus, opposite the Soul Star Chakra (evolutionary North Node) and Eris. Mercury and Pallas also form a bridge with Chiron, signifying that a different way of thinking and communicating can heal old wounds and bring us forward. New discoveries and understandings can also change our way of thinking.  Astraea now has domain over this eclipse, and she is in a stepping stone with MakeMake, a great eliminator with Chariklo and an intimate (semisextile) aspect with Varuna, all very high energies. The balance we seek is available; if we can get comfortable with the highest perspective we can muster, we can find stability, in accordance with divine law. This is a good environment in which to have our consciousness rebooted.

From there, the Sun makes new cycles with Arcturus and the Earth Star on 10/18, right before Mercury does the same. As stated, the two archetypes come together 10/20, and the Sun enters Scorpio 10/23, becoming part of the 5-planet stellium in the sign of alchemy and transformation. The Sun-Haumea new cycle 10/24 increases our awareness of our own creative potential. This is fortuitous since the Sun, Mercury and Mars are all in the via combusta and things might feel intense. On 10/28 The Full Moon lunar eclipse in Taurus occurs; the nodes are close enough to create a partial eclipse. This reboot of emotional response feels markedly different from the previous eclipse; the Sun is surrounded by Haumea, Mercury and Mars, and the Moon is near Jupiter. We can feel our emotions with our bodies, which are always truthful. Intuition is strong as well. What we envision can come to fruition when we put love into it.

Speaking of love, because of her retrograde, Venus is still in Leo at the beginning of the month. While there, she communes with the Black Moon again 10/5 before she enters Virgo 10/8. Here the heart aligns and purifies, gaining wisdom in the process. It’s not an easy sign for Venus to navigate, but it yields mastery of the heart. It’s here that Black Moon finds Venus for another meeting 10/16, uncovering blocks emotional clarity. The 10/25 Venus-Orcus new cycle reminds us that love is everlasting. This lesson is brought home by the Black Moon’s new cycle with Venus 10/29.

Gradually we should find the intensity of the month letting up, as Ceres (10/21) and Mercury (10/31) move out of the via combusta. With 4-5 planets in Scorpio, we are faced with making sure that what we envision is truly what we want, or else we will end up with unwanted manifestations. That is how powerful we are. Pluto, the dispositor of Scorpio, stations direct 10/10, retracing his steps as he prepares to enter Aquarius again in January 2024. Chariklo, 10° away in Aquarius, stations direct 10/19. It’s an opportunity to speak up for the underserved and abused.

The Spring Equinox marks the moment the Sun crosses the celestial equator – the imaginary line in the sky above the Earth’s equator — and the length of day and night are nearly equal. Astrologically it marks the time the Sun exits the Piscean limitless ocean and enters Aries. In Cosmic Consciousness this transition point is called the Portal of Truth, where the potential is the greatest for us to recognize we are much more than our physical bodies. For us to come to Self-realization, as well as begin to embody the powerful energy available, discipline in our thoughts while simultaneously applying the wisdom we just acquired from our journey through Pisces is required.  All of the elements in the chart are perfectly placed to support the next phase, which is exactly what happens when we enter into the spring season.

Our journey through the vast Piscean ocean has felt at times like riding a wave, when we had no idea where we were, giving us the feeling that we were lost in the vastness of the ocean. Now some solid ground is in sight and it feels like things are picking up speed, similar to when a wave rolls into shore. Depending on how we are riding the wave, we will either glide into shore nice and easy when we find ourselves in the positive love vibration, or, if we are unsure and perhaps leaning toward more fear-based energies, we might get caught in the undertow and hit the shore harder than we want to. Either way we will come to the shore.

The Sun is resonating with Venus (in Pisces) and Salacia and Chiron (in Aries), in a stepping-stone with Ixion and Astraea (Capricorn). Our focus needs to be consistently heart-centered as this is our divine blueprint, while at the same time not forgetting we already know why we are here at this very important time.

The Sun forms a resource with Chariklo (Aquarius) and also Mars (Gemini). Chariklo gives us a feeling of stability as we move into the transmutative fire energy of Aries. In order to connect to the stabilizing energy, we have to be mindful to love our Self as unconditionally as Source does, and realize that this is actually our true nature. Mercury forms a resource with Quaoar, assisting us in our understanding that new thoughts are a requisite to attain the higher realizations as we create our new world.

Creating a new world is a tall order and there is no one way to do it.  I see the stepping-stone dynamic aspect as options or different pathways to reach the end goal, just as when you are crossing a stream you find stones to step on as you select a path to reach the other side. Some stones will be flat and offer a great resting spot for you to contemplate your next move. Others are wobbly; staying too long may throw you off balance, and you may find yourself in some deeper waters before getting back on track. If you do fall into the deeper waters, recognize that you may have unnecessary baggage that needs to be discarded before resuming your journey. It’s important to get up and find another step to lift you up. Regardless of what happens, it is all good. The stepping-stone aspect that captured my attention was the one between the Sun and Ixion/ Astraea, reminding us that the divine feminine is part of our 5D blueprint, and it takes conscious discipline of our thoughts to change the previous program we grew up with.

The Sun forms a manifestation with Varuna (Leo), giving us the opportunity to see our creations from a higher perspective, just as an artist envisions the final masterpiece. Light must shine brightly to reveal the true image; however, shadow is necessary to create the subtleness that defines the masterpiece.

Other keys to unlock the potential of the 2021 Equinox event include the Sun MakeMake Light Bridge and the great eliminators: Mercury – MakeMake, Venus – Haumea and Saturn – Vesta. There is a Ceres Saturn resource as well.  One way to view all that has happened and what is currently happening is to see it as simply part of what creates our universe. In order to create a world of peace and harmony we need to recognize that it requires balance. If we see things shifting toward a less than desirable outcome, we need to shift or readjust our thinking to get us back on course and headed back to our true intention. At other times we may be holding on to things that are going to throw us off balance. Once we can identify and recognize all that is going on around and inside us, we will be able to readjust and focus on the goal and eventually arrive at our destination. Once realized, we will be able to enjoy, relax for a bit and then move on to our next stage of the journey.

February 2021 Cosmic Consciousness

Welcome to February, the 2nd month of an already tumultuous year. February carries the frequency of the ‘2,’ bringing us the feminine energies of compassion, balance, service, diplomacy, receptivity, adaptability, courage, and unconditional love, all the elements of Pisces and some Aquarius too. It resonates with partnerships and relationships of all kinds, including those we have with all parts of our Selves. It can reveal polarities that separate us, or offer ways to build bridges across those differences through awareness, intuition, higher perspective, and heartfelt Love.
The ‘2’ represents duality, polarity, reflection, and balance. Duality is the perception of otherness through which the One can understand itSelf. It is what results when Source energies descend into the 3rd dimension. Duality provides contrast and differentiation; there is no Light without darkness, up without down, and so on. Electricity is the positive Male (yang) principle, and magnetic attraction is the negative Female (yin) principle. Both are necessary for creation. Balance between masculine and feminine energies produces ascension, which brings us back to Source, the Oneness behind everything.
