AN UPDATE FROMÂ STEPHANIE: I am recovering slowly but surely, still having some trouble with my eyes, waiting, according to doctor’s orders, another few weeks to see if things get better. The sabbatical I’ve been on is doing me a world of good. I am feeling far more buoyant and hopeful for the future and what it holds. I am incredibly grateful to Shelly for holding down the fort for me as she has, and for all the others who contribute to the site on a regular basis.
With yesterday’s aspects everyone I spoke to had some sort of upheaval, or at least unusual circumstances. We had a power outage during the night, which set the day on edge; the extreme wind conditions closed the upper level of the Verrazano Bridge, causing a 50-minute trip home to last well over 2 hours; another had a sudden flat tire. Has anyone had a similar experience? Today will be much quieter.
