The Capricorn New Moon on January 16th activated the wormhole we are traveling through, turning our attention to the source of our inner authority. Capricorn asks us to recognize the truth: that we are spiritual beings having a physical experience. Our inner sense of authority determines how we respond to what happens in our world at the personal level. Being aware of ourselves is a powerful tool for navigating a wormhole, which is a chapter of our lives that includes two eclipses. The wormhole began on January 16th and ends on March 17th.  As Stephanie Azaria described on January 27 during her talk on Navigating the Wormhole, ‘a wormhole takes us to parts of ourselves that we have not yet accessed.’  The key is to use the observer’s perch as a tool to watch what is occurring at a moment. If we experience judgement or fear, simply recognizing it diffuses the energy and allows for clarity again. In a wormhole anything can happen.  That’s an exciting prospect, and as Stephanie said, we are often as fearful of happiness, success, peace, and awareness as we are of failure and missing the boat. It’s important to stay with the energies that are downloading now, because this wormhole serves as the birthing of the Divine Feminine in each of us.

Since the Full Moon in Cancer on January 1, we have been experiencing what it feels like to navigate the new channels for processing emotions and expressing our feelings. To do this, we have been discovering how to locate and recognize these new channels and traverse them bravely, even though we have no way of knowing where we are going.  We don’t know, because we have learned to step out of habitual patterns long enough to notice where they are. We do not have a map for the new consciousness we gained recently through the ongoing watershed moment that Stephanie Azaria has described in her daily Cosmic Consciousness blogs.

Here we are at the first Full Moon of 2018, one of two such moons for January.  As we moved through the Sagittarius New Moon passage to now, we experienced the final hurrah of the clearing process that only the Sagittarius quality of consciousness brings. By “clearing process,” think of what it took to recognize, acknowledge, and reflect upon all that we wanted to let go in our lives. We were given assists through this process by the movements of Mercury, Ceres, Jupiter, Saturn, and Quaoar. As Stephanie Azaria described, December brought us truly to a watershed moment. Now we are at the Cancer Full Moon, which is the second of three “super” full moons in a row (the first was the Gemini Full Moon on December 3, and the last is on January 31). The Moon is typically 14% closer and 30% brighter during a super moon, making it hard to ignore. For our purposes, this is an amplification of everything that comes our way during the Full Moon. One of the cosmic consciousness symbols for Cancer is the river, and of course, the Moon is where Cancer is most at home.

What an interesting Moon passage we just went through! Duality just does not look the same, does it? The Gemini Full Moon showed that the way to use our ability to change our minds is by embracing the act of seeing more than one perspective at the same time. It felt like the scales were falling from our individual and collective vision. This reminded us to stand back a bit and look at events and our responses to them as an observer, thus making it easier to discern what we are really feeling at any one point in time.
