Retrograde Mars, at 7 Sagittarius, the only personal planet left out of the Taurus stellium, is making his own trine or manifestation with Ceres at 7 Aries. We are bringing something new into being that will manifest on the physical level. We need to bring conscious discipline to nurturing ourselves when our bodies present us with messages in the form of pain or discomfort.  Meditation, stretching, yoga, Reiki, etc. are all ways we can assist our bodies.  We need to be open to the messages that come to us about how to heal ourselves. When these messages come, our actions will bring us closer to Source within our Selves.

Here’s my own example of this: I have always been interested in reflexology and energy medicine; my nutritionist uses a technique called Nutrition Response Testing, which is similar to the Chinese meridian system. I apparently have the beginnings of high blood pressure, so I Google’d to find meridians that would address that, and found a wonderful site (http://www.chinesefootreflexology.com) by Holly Tse that gave 3 acupressure points specifically for hypertension. Talk about Divine Spark! This seems like a direct message to me, and an opportunity to learn and apply a new methodology for healing. Who knows where it will lead, but it is certainly a new beginning.

May our new beginnings manifest healing on every level.

When a planetary event occurs, I like to look at the chart and see where it’s happening, and what else is going on at the same time. It is fitting that it is raining during today’s Sun/Neptune resource, as it takes place in the physical power and wisdom mansions. Rain may fog things up, but the result of it ultimately is to clear and wash everything clean.  We have access to higher love and faith to help us work through any confusion; we just have to allow it in.

At the same time, Venus is making a Great Eliminator inconjunct aspect to MakeMake, giving us the chance to look inside our hearts to see what might be in the way of knowing that everything is truly in divine order. Once we see that, we can work to eliminate those speedbumps and allow our hearts to open fully. Isn’t that the perfect compliment to the clarity that Sun/Neptune brings?

As if that wasn’t enough, Juno and Orcus are forming a Finger of God with Ceres at the apex. We are working creatively with unity consciousness from deep within our higher purpose, bringing it into form on the physical plane. It’s not easy, but we are doing it, and the cosmos reflects that.

Happy Sunday!

This week is flying by, and it’s all I can do to slow down. It is an absolute must to meditate, even for a minute by breathing deeply and checking in with our bodies throughout the day. With Mars getting ready to retrograde, and Mercury so active, our bodies are talking to us more than ever, sometimes loudly, and we need to open clear communications with it. The one word that comes up for me is “clearing”, in every sense of the word (I almost said ‘world’, and that is no coincidence). I am even taking a course called Clear Your Home, Clear Your Life, from Daily Om. It has to do with creating space: in your mind, in your heart, in your activities, your closet…you name it. In order to clear we must let go, and that is hard for me. The only way to do it is to take each issue, belief, or possession, one at a time, and sit with it, asking if it serves you in any way. Sometimes we know it doesn’t, but we aren’t ready to let it go; it could be fear of change, or reluctance to give up the past and therefore our “identity” as we know it…which I guess is fear of change. It could be fear of the emptiness, or empty space, that remains when we clear. I know for me it is an inability to soften and relax, a fear of letting go itself, of free-fall. Of losing my Self.  But how can you lose your Self? That is the ego talking: “What if…” “What will happen… “ “But…”. That’s why it is so important to love your mind, respect it and cherish its gifts—and then ask it to be quiet occasionally so you can have mental breathing room. We love ourselves by making the ego an ally instead of trying to eliminate it. When the mind settles down we can breathe into our bodies and listen there for any messages, remembering to love our bodies without judgment. We can thank our bodies for their messages of pain, aches, physical symptoms; we can bless our bodies for carrying us through this world and making it available to us through movement and sensory input.

At the same time that our mental capacities are expanded, integrated and grounded into our being today, courtesy of the Mercury/Jupiter manifestation, Ceres births us into Aries, the Divine Spark, and makes a bridge with Makemake; we know that all is in Divine Order. We are bringing something new into being, whether it is space to be our Selves, a new version or vision of our Selves, or a new understanding of how to heal and whole our Selves and each other. Vesta is making a Great Eliminator (inconjunct) aspect with Saturn too, giving us an opportunity to burn away, with devotion and focused intent, anything that might block us from the guidance of our Inner Teacher. Attending to, and clearing away, the clutter of our environments, both inner and outer, will give us the space to manifest our Truth.

Today the big news is the Mercury/Mars Great Eliminator, which represents the elimination of ideas and beliefs that get in the way of transmuting the frequency of our physical being. You know how someone can say something that actually lowers your energy and makes you feel like you got punched in the gut? Today’s energies give us a chance to see what is happening within us that allows that to happen, and how to transmute that effect. In Cosmic Consciousness, this aspect takes place in the Aquarius 2 o'clock hour (Mercury) of Spiritual Love and in the 6 o'clock Cancer mansion of Emotional Power—involving the spiritual and emotional parts of our Selves in the blending of mind and body. We can eliminate barriers to feeling our e-motions through movement like dancing, singing, exercising and enlightened action; at the same time we can remove barriers to Self-Love by eliminating old beliefs that crop up saying we are not worthy or deserving of such Love. Allowing joy to enter into our bodies raises our frequencies and puts our minds into a calmer, more loving mode—and vice versa.

Jupiter and Vesta assist with this through their manifestation (trine) in the Aquarius (Vesta) and Libra (Jupiter) hours of the cosmic clock. With loving devotion we manifest and ground what is in our hearts, guided from within onto the physical plane, helping us to integrate, heal and whole our Selves; each integration serves us all. This is another indication of how mind and body can work together to raise our consciousness on the physical level.
