Full Moon 19 Taurus 51

08:33 am EST

We have just completed the journey from the Scorpio New Moon, where we used the highest vision available to us to start a new manifestation cycle. We may have experienced something come to an end or saw anew the continuous play of duality: dark and light, here and there, far and near, now and then, etc. The Scorpio part of our Consciousness takes us to the point where we can recognize our deepest feelings, and how we manifest these through our subconsciousness, either knowingly in the moment or not. Our feelings all move from our core subconsciousness and we are either aware of them as they rise, or gain knowledge after the feelings are expressed. It is ironic that the mode is not inherently “better” than another, although we all seek one that makes us feel good.
It is worth exploring Scorpio a bit more as the New Moon was probably intense. Once we start the process of self-realization, we become aware of our feelings and how they create experiences with other people. We begin to understand the experience of Love, and consequently seek it out in all aspects of our lives. Scorpio reminds us that life on Earth is inherently karmic and we can change our experience with joy and pain depending on our awareness. However, the process of doing so will be uncomfortable some of the time, and Scorpio helps us go through this by showing us the difference transformation makes. All transformations require a thorough experience that requires a beginning, middle, and end. It is like the process of making ice…water needs certain conditions to transform into ice, and then ice needs warmth to melt back into water. Scorpio and Taurus form a polarity, where, in Cosmic Consciousness, Taurus is where we gain access to our Super Consciousness by listening to our inner guidance. This Taurus Full Moon brings us to the fruition of what we initiated during the New Moon.

New Moon 4 Scorpio 24

11:37 pm EDT

What a journey through the via combusta (the degrees between 15 Libra and 15 Scorpio) we are passing through. Moment by moment, it may seem like we are walking on hot coals. This time is intense, and the Aries Full Moon passage reminded us how personal any challenge, conflict, or uncertainty feels. This can be isolating and alienating, where it might feel like we each are the only ones having these feelings. There is another side to this—we could also feel a new coherence where our most closely held ideals have fresh credibility.
We are all connected through an energy source that we are only beginning to understand, which is Unity Consciousness. Aries reminds us of this by sparking our awareness of the Self; through Scorpio, we are acutely aware that we created the world we live in. Scorpio provides the evidence of what we have manifested in physical form. We know this because we are either happy, indifferent, or angry about it. Scorpio can take us to our deepest most private self and catapult us to our highest vision if we are willing. What is interesting is that prior to Pluto’s discovery in 1930, Mars was the dispositor of both Aries and Scorpio. Hence, the Aries and Scorpio qualities of our Consciousness are linked by the desire to go to places where no one has been before. This is intense—it is the energy of the pioneer—sensing that there is something to discover and having the willingness to walk through fire to reach it. It is breathtaking, and we all engage in this exploration, in our own ways, every day.

Full Moon 20 Aries 13

5:07 pm EDT

That was quite a Libra New Moon on September 28 —with the seven planet/point stellium (grouping) comprised of the Moon, the Sun, MakeMake, Venus, Mercury, the Fixed Star Arcturus, and Haumea. It was intense because there were via combusta energies involved. Also called the fiery way, the via combusta refers to planets and points between 15 Libra and 15 Scorpio degrees. This may have seemed like a “trial by fire,” or a transformative experience, depending upon how we relate to “the other” in co-creating our reality at the individual, community, national, or global level. It may have felt as if we were “looking through a glass darkly.” Some of the co-creation was clear and some may have seemed distorted and hard to find the boundaries of what issue is ours and what belongs to someone else. The reality is that it is hard to tell the difference unless we are using the observer’s perch. And that takes practice.

New Moon 5 Libra 20

2:27 pm EDT

We have moved with the Pisces/Virgo zoom lens of the September 15 Full Moon where we could examine things from a wide-angle or at a granular level. The Full Moon provided the much needed big-picture perspective (Pisces) while keeping us focused on the need to recalibrate the balance within our four-body energy system (Virgo). This system is comprised of the spiritual body, the mental body, the emotional body, and the physical body. Where the Pisces Full Moon took us to the field of infinite possibilities, our Libran quality of consciousness now rivets our awareness to what we see in the mirror, e.g. everything around us.
At the broadest level, everything we personally experience through our four-body system reflects our individual and collective consciousness. This idea can seem very abstract and not relevant to the here and now. As a mass consciousness, we all agreed upon what our world looks like and what group events we participate in globally and then down to regions, countries, states, communities, families, etc. As individuals seeking Truth we come to realize that everything is a projection of our experience of duality. This can sometimes feel like a bit of a jolt unless we practice mindfulness or use of the observer’s perspective. Think of wind blowing sand on the beach—it can feel gentle or like a sting-but, either way, it definitely gets our attention. The symbol for Libra is the wind, and as such reminds us how transitory things really are.
